A very solid jacket which has style. The 4 layers are bound to offer a lot of flexibility for year round riding.
Have only tried fall weather riding with it so far. 5-15 degrees celcius. Has kept me bone dry in heavy rain. Only a few complaints. A little hard to prevent wind from entering at the wrist. And I find it is not comfortable to button up the collar at the neck but then I've got a big adam's apple.
I only rated the "bang for buck" as average based upon regular pricing. At half price off on Revzilla, it was a steal.

The versatility on this jacket is great. There are three sections that you can add or take off as the weather changes. This is great because one jacket can take you through all seasons(well maybe not snow). The only downfall would be that I would have liked a cinch strap on my ribcage to snug up the back protector. I think that they added this on the Ego 3.0 though.

Great Jacket!!!

Couldn't have asked for a better jacket. Haven't tried it in the rain or very cold weather yet though. However, on a cool summer morning with the panels installed it kept me comfortable. Then in 40 degree celcius heat, with the panels removed it kept me nice and cool. I have nothign to compare it to as this is my first Jacket. I will buy it again before I buy another Jacket that I may be disappointed with.
Pros Rugged, Great Value, Fashionable, Comfortable

I have worn this jacket with the removable panels installed in temperatures down to 53degrees and up to 90 with them removed. It is a great jacket for all season.
Pros Great Value, Comfortable, Rugged, Fashionable
