The hella ankle boot.
These boots were a tight fit at first but being leather you want to start with them being a bit tight and then take the time to break them in so that when they are broken in they will fit just right and not be to large or loose. I wear a normal size 9 and when i bought these I bought them in nines. The first three hours or so of wear were very uncomfortable but once I broke them in with in a week or two they have been great ever since. I have had my first pair of these for almost three years now and the only complaint I have is that as a female rider these boots heels are quite slick until you wear them down. But I love them, they look great and now feel like they belong on my feet. Definitely a must have for any fashionable lady rider =D

Great for Wearing to Work
I use these for shortish commute and then wearing at work (desk job) during day. I wanted something with protection that I could still wear during the day and they are perfect for this. Around the office they are remarkably comfortable (though If I was doing more walking I'd need more comfortable shoes) but they are a great compromise for me and I'd definitely recommend them.

Hella boots are fab
I have to disagree with the negative reviews of this boot. I think it's great! The ankle padding hits in just the right place. The fit is spot on. And the boots are very comfortable. Plus they are super styling' and very feminine unlike my Harley boots. I wear the Hella's when I ride my cafe racer. The higher wedge heel is the key to me being flat-footed on my Triumph. My only complaint is that the sole of the heel needs to be made of a more grippy material; it tends to be a bit slippery. Wonderful boot!

Fit was as expected zips stiff but overall excellent
I was nervous ordering these boots online but the size matched expectaions exactly. Great fit comfortable (So my wife says) would definately order from this company and supplier again.

dont buy!
anyone who recommended these must sit on the back worst boot ever cant shift ankle protection in the wrong spot, made for the girls who sit @*#&!

disappointed
The ankle protection is too high and chafed the top of my ankle. The metatarsal side is soo stiff, I can barely shift. Can't walk one block without wanting to kick them off.
