Excellent companion to Dainese Airfast Perforated Jacket
Love my Airfast Jacket, but it moves so much air, that under 65 degrees can be chilly at speed. This had me looking for a way to extend my usage down to 50-55 degrees without buying another jacket.

Only portions of this shirt are windproof, but the portions match up perfectly with the perforations in the jacket. The rest is highly breathable, making it fairly comfortable.

I wouldn't want to be in this combination of summer jacket with a windproof shirt for great lengths of time in weather beneath 55 degrees... but it is perfect for taking off in 50 degrees as the day is starting to warm up and is still comfortable at 65+. It also folds up small and fits in a tank bag as the temps come up.

Sizing was better than i expected from the reviews. I am a 42R in the chest and a 34 in jeans... small beer belly... wear a 54 in the Airfast Jacket.

The Large shirt fits perfect... not too tight or loose.

Basically fits like anything in a large from Banana Republic.

great addition to the Air-2 Textile Jacket
Went for a ride in 60 degree weather. Wore the Winderstopper shirt under my Air 2 mesh jacket. This Jacket flows lots of cool air. The fabric the body of the shirt is made of kept the cool air out. The neck zipper is on the side which eliminates cool air leaking through. The lining of the shirt is very soft on the skin. The high neck will work real well in the colder months. I will get a lot of use out this shirt. Our summers are high 80s -mid 90s but verry cool nights. The Windstopper Shirt packs lite, easy to take on all day rides that turn into night. I wear a 48 Dainese Jacket and the medium shirt fits comfortable, not tight. A must have.

So much warmer
These things are really really warm. Great for naked bikes. You get really hot when you go inside, so plan to have to take it off. Drying them is a bit of a pain, they take forever to dry as they absorb a ton of water.

Worth every penny.
I got this to go under my Rev'It Airwave summer jacket to add versatility and be able to layer during Spring/Fall riding in the North East. Quality is great, stopped the wind and insulated as expected. I used it while the temperature was in the mid-50s-70s, and took it off once it hit 70º.

I'm 6'1" and 165lbs, wear a Rev'It M/L depending on style, and ordered the Dianese in a L…fit perfectly. If you think you may be between sizes i'd say order up a size.

As always, Revzilla customer service was excellent and it was shipped super fast.

first base-layer experience : amazing
Having never ridden with a base-layer garment, i have nothing to compare it to, but this Dianese shirt has increased my enjoyment of my scooter tenfold — seriously. The warmth and stability i feel in this just improves all the feedback from the machine — though in my case it's a 300cc scooter, so you may experience be less 'feedback' — rough roads scooters are clearly inferior — but especially at freeway speeds this is the best — like a wetsuit for a diver i'll probably always want to wear this.

Perfect piece of cold weather kit.
The shirt stops the chill that comes through the zipper section of my Spidi jacket and just happens to line up really well with the stretch fabric areas as well.
It does exactly as stated, and stops the wind.
Excellent gear.

Perfect base layer
I have the Revit Airwave jacket and live on the California coast, so temperatures vary quite a bit within a short distance. This base layer is exactly what I wanted to wear under the Airwave jacket. It blocks the cool/cold coastal wind that passes through my jacket, yet it is light weight and stylish when I stop and remove my jacket. The thin material around the neck works well under the collar of my jacket. An added benefit to the base layer is that it allows me to look for a different winter jacket, one that is stylish vs practical....now that I have a solution to the variable temperatures and mild winters here on the California coast.

I do not recommend this shirt. The windstopper material does not fully protect your arms from cold wind. I eventually tossed this into the garbage and bought the Forcefield Tornado shirt, which works great at stopping the wind on arms and torso.

The Klim Badlands Jacket is not windproof. This shirt can be used when a heavier jacket liner is not needed.

Excellent Base layer. Multiple cold weather condition trips spent in this. Thin enough to be comfortable but effective enough to keep you warm without the bulk.

I am 5'11" and 190 lbs... I plan to wear this under a size 52 Dainese Airfast jacket to block wind. Would I need a large... or extra large?

Thanks!

BEST ANSWER: Hi William,

I'm 6'1", 205lbs. I wear the XL and the fit is perfect. You might consider the L. Cool thing about Revzilla is the return policy. I've had a couple of returns over the years and these guys always make it easy. By the way, this Dianese Windstopper is very very effective. Take it from a year round Pacific Northwest rider. Keep the rubber side down bro'!
Chris
How cold of temperatures does anyone think this would be good for? I wan't to find something to wear under my Icon Overlord jacket instead of having to buy an outright winter riding jacket.
Michael S on Oct 24, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The windstopper is great for frontal warmth. I found the shirt to be a bit short. You might try one size larger than you normally order.
I rode at snow level (about 40 degrees) last year with the wind shirt and a perforated leather jacket. I was quite comfortable during the day long ride.
Is there any wind stopping material in the sleeves? On my perforated Super Speed C2 when riding in temps around high 40s low 50s the wind really goes through on the material located on the sleeves that is not leather. Really just want to know if this product has any wind stopping material in the sleeves and if not what would you recommend before purchasing a new jacket
Peter L on Oct 18, 2015
BEST ANSWER: There is wind stoppage in the sleeves but it's only the black portion of the sleeve that you see on the photo. I use this top until the low 50's then I switch to a light down shell which keeps me warmer as the temperature dips.
Excuse me, : I common coat and pants are to wear 56 numbers. That inside in wanting to wear several numbers of?
You long l on Dec 22, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I wear the shirt and pants, and they are very effective. I highly recommend these to anyone. I'd like to answer your question, but I don't quite understand what you're asking. It might be a language barrier. Can you rephrase your question?
