This is shaping up to be the most useable real world jacket I have owned to date. The temperatures around here have recently been hovering around 40F and I have been completely comfortable on hour long rides with just a tee shirt underneath as long as I had the liner all sealed up. I had to order one size up to accommodate my chest and back protectors which kind of killed that slim fit style but it feels great.

Dainese's new 2012 collection is coming in so this one went down $100 to $450 Great buy!! Fast delivery. Great looking jacket. (I got the black/grey. The grey is darker looking then the photo shows, looks even better in person!) Very durable. Tailored for an athletic build. I'm 6'1 175lbs and size 52 fit me like a glove. Only downside is the back protection (g2 wave) is not included and runs high at $89. Love it!!!

This jacket is not cheap. Let's get that out of the way, because in most every other way it simply excels. Superbly comfortable, great venting options, great pocket space. It looks great, and I get complimented on it all the time.
It performed fine without the liner in light rain. Fairly wide comfort range; I would say from the 40s up to the upper 60s with the liner in, and well into the mid 90s with the liner out and all the vents open. Beyond that, pretty much no jacket will keep you from getting really hot.
I recently crash-tested this bike when I low-sided on a road shoulder. Fell into rocks and dirt, had one very small rip on a seam and some punctures in the clear plastic shield over the "technical pocket" so it's no longer waterproof. Some of the reflective banding was scuffed off as well. All said though, the jacket still looks really good and should be 99.5% of its original protectivity.
Would not hesitate to buy this jacket again. Not for a moment.

I couldn't be happier with the jacket. With the liner in, its a fall/winter jacket but liner comes out and its really an all-season product. Great quality, great finish. Had expected to use this only for adventure-type riding but have found myself reaching for it for daily in-city riding. Highly recommended.

this jacket flows a large amount of air. Enough to keep me cool even on 90+ degree days. The d-dry liner works well and blocks out the rain. The fit is good I had to order a size larger than the fitting guide said. The first jacket fit well but was tight in my upper arm area and also would not allow me to fit my heated liner under the jacket. All of the pads fit well and stay where they belong while riding. This is becoming my favorite riding jacket I've ever used.

Best looking for sure I don't know if i would do long trips. Waterproof liner I have not used but above 40 you'll be fine. jacket it self is not weather proof so not my warmest. But it is the Best looking and breaths well

Beautiful coat. Very comfortable. The sizing chart was spot on, and the Revzilla staff were helpful and responsive.
The cost is on the high side, and it is somewhat disappointing that the back protector is extra. Overall, though, the quality, styling and fit are very impressive.

I love this Jacket. Just did a 2 week trip from Phoenix to Cabo San Lucas and Back. It was the perfect jacket to have. Great in the cold. Great in the wind, no flapping at all. On the really hot days i just opened all the vents and it was like air conditioning.
I'm 6'1'' 200 pounds and I bought a size 56. I first bought the 54 and it was a bit short. I returned it and they sent me the 56 hassle free. It fits perfectly. So comfortable and stylish. It even performed well in the pouring rain

I'm 5'11" and 175lbs 42 chest and have this jacket in a size 54 and it fits great. I would say you would probably go with a 52. It's a fantastic jacket btw!

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements. Dainese sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.
