Good quality for the money, and bought these to match my tail bag. Haven't done a long distant ride yet, so can't give any area five stars yet.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I go these bags for an upcoming trip on my sv650. They fit very nice and will not scratch when properly installed. I have a rear seat cowl and just run the straps underneath my cowl and it holds them securely at highway speed. Each Saddle bag can hold a 12-pack of Coors Light cans and one piece of rain gear. I was disappointed when the product arrived because I thought all three bags were included. I think the video and product title of "Tri" bag is a bit misleading, even though it does state saddle bags also.

Fits very well on my bike and pretty easy on off. The quality seems good but some of the finishing details are a bit rough. I do like that when you have the tail bag for the same series it can simply click on with the straps rather than a separate complex or annoying mounting system. I have not tried the rain covers. One point is that with the tail bag in place and expanded it is hard to get into the saddlebags but not that bad. I think you would have trouble with these if you have a fender eliminator kit or flush mount rear signals.

these bags are good, slightly lighter weight material than I expected but that doesn't have to a bad thing. time will tell how they hold up. the finishing of the seams, trimming of the excess material where surprisingly poor. this is not high quality attention to detail here. but then again they are a fair bit cheaper than other similar bags. nothing special about the design most bags are similar, or these are similar to most bags however you like.
if you are looking for a cheaper but functional option this is it. if you are looking for high quality detail, perhaps not.

I really needed these bags to hold my wet/cold weather gear. I am an all weather rider and having these bags to store my gear when not needed is great. The only down side was that the installation is just general, wherever you can stick the straps to hold it. All in all, great bags.

... but the quality and workmanship of the Cortech Sport Tri Bag Saddlebag "system" looks quite good. I did fit them to my wife's Yamaha V-Star with no problem what-so-ever. They adjusted well to the mounting points and seemed very secure. The bags were as advertised.

The tail bag for the tri-bag system is sold separately. This particular model has been discontinued and replaced with the Cortech Super 2.0 Saddlebags and the Cortech Super 2.0 Tail Bag.

I've used these bags before overtop an exhaust. They shouldn't melt as long as the heat shield is in place over the pipe. They are soft bags and sit pretty high, so I don't imagine them getting in the way of the exhaust.
