Great value for the money!
I wish I could keep these saddlebags but they are too big for my 2005 Kawasaki Ninja and my husband's 1987 Honda Magna. Our signal lights are too far to the side and force the bags to be too far forward for what we wanted. Aside from that, they look like an excellent value. Huge capacity, thick material, good reflectors on the sides.

I'm opting for a sleeker, smaller tailbag instead.

These fit pretty well on My 2015 FZ07. The straps just barely reach the passenger pegs. They seem pretty durable. That being said, I made some rookie mistakes. I mounted them as shown in the pics, and they were fine. However once i put a bunch of gear in them they sagged and at some point one hit my wheel (Maybe once maybe a few times, I didn't even notice till i got off the bike). It tore a golf ball sized hole in the bottom. Gear stayed in, and I was able to readjust them so they sat much higher.

awesome for the money
These bags work great with my Buell XB9S. They strap on and ride great. They look great. They really have a lot of space and are easy to load and unload. Im very pleased so far.

Compact and versatile
So, pretty basic install: it was my 2315 project after receiving the bags earlier in the day. With a Corbin seat on my Hawk I opted for an initial throwover rather than seat-pulling and then went about strapping and lashing. The angles at which the buckle-connections sit is less than ideal, but workable. Although the instructions state the straps are just to stabilize and don't need to be totally cranked down, anyone who believes this is foolish. If you're on the road with lots of vibration, straps will loosen from their initial point, unless you've locked them. *Crank 'em down.*
Expandable compartments are good; everything fit which needed to.
I have had stitching failure on one of the zipper pulls already, but that will be easy to fix.
These seem to be one of the most compast (length-wise) sets of bags available for sportbike configurations, which was the motivation behind my choice.
I"m keeping them.

Very neat tidy looking bags. Look like they are string and will not flop around and not too big either

Hey, i am looking to get a sport bag for my 2012 CBR 1000rr. I was looking at the the following:
Nelson Rigg CL-890
Cortech Super 2.0
Saddlemen Expandable Sport Luggage
Nelson-Rigg Sport 40
I do carry tools and other things that may be up to 15-20lb per bag.
I want to know which bag will hold up the best to the weight and wont tear under wear and tear from basic use.
Which bag will also hold up the best from weather and wind going at a faster pace than usually?
I use my bike as a daily so i need one that will hold up well.
Please let me know so i may make my decision

Thanks!

BEST ANSWER: I have no idea, but they are pretty adaptable. I'd email Nelson Rigg. I'm sure they can tell you.
Did the bags touch or rest against your pipes? How heat-resistant are they?
MICHAEL P on May 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: I have a 2014 KTM 690 Duke which has a higher than normal pipe, so they are very close. I'm sure there's times when the bag touches the pipe, but the heat material has no marks on it after about 1,000 miles, so it must be working.
Do these come with rain covers?
Emmalene R on Mar 10, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hello. No rain covers included.
Are these lockable?
A shopper on Apr 25, 2014
BEST ANSWER: No. because if the way both zippers open the top together there is no way to lock them.
