Alpinestars Harlem Air Boots
Really just another average boot
I bought this boot looking for a cool look off the bike that I could wear to work, and give me good riding protection. Beware, the photos you'll see here and, especially on Alpinestars' website, do not look like what you're actually going to get. The photos show a grainier, weathered sort of look that brings out the style of the boot. The boot is actual very typical all black, muting the style details and giving you, in essence, a very average riding boot. As a pure riding boot, you can do better. As a style option, you can do better. Meh.

Good all around boot
This is a very nice stylish boot that I use on both a sport bike and a cruiser. The boots breath pretty well so they are nice for the warmer weather. Protection is average, but the boots are well made and look great. I like the boots a lot and prefer wearing them to work boots, especially on my sport bike. I am very happy with the boots, they fit me fine, I wear a 101/2 to 11 andI I bought a 45 which what I wear with all Alpine Star boots.

I have a weird size foot - some brands I wear 10.5, some I wear 11. I initially ordered the 45 based on the Alpine Stars' sizing chart. I promptly exchanged those for the 44. The size 45 fit me like an 11.5-12; I was swimming in them.
I received the 44's a few days later and they fit much better but they're still a little on the big side. They're wider than most shoes I'm used to. The top of the boot remains loose-it doesn't fit tight around the ankle like the boots I usually wear. No big deal, I guess I'll get used to that.
As far as style they look great. The mesh gives them a pseudo-carbon fiber look. I think they look great and my wife likes them too. My wife rarely likes any footwear that I like. They look good with khakis without looking like I'm wearing work boots so that's a bonus.
I like them. Fair warning though they run big. Use the Revzilla size chart, not the Alpine Stars chart.

Not Harlem, just another moto boot
First off - I have not ridden I them. Just opened the box, put them on, put them back in the box and hit the web fr a return. They don't look at all like the ad: they have no unique features. They are a generic moto boot, flat black, no street cred. The fit is a bit big (I ordered a size small, and they are still a bit big). Unlike other reviewers, I would not to wear to work since they look like moto boots with heavy zippers and plastic shift pads.

Very good boot
The boots fit well, Well made as can be expected from AlpineStar. Cooling air can be felt, so I know they work.

A must have pair of boots for all around riding.
I have both the Air and WP and they both work very well. They are comfortable to ride in as well as walk around in. I have put of 15K kilometers on the Air boots alone. The WP didn't get to see too much action yet for it didn't rain in Korea it poured so not much riding during the 3 months of hard rain. Looks are quite good, but a bit plain. Very easy to get in and out of. Protection wise, there is a decent amount, but aside from the heel cup and toe, all else is in the open. For day to day use it is one of the best for the money. The outsole does wear though but, they provide solid grip so understandable. A definite consideration when searching for a solid all around pair of boots.

Great summer boots
These are great riding boots. The webbing lets air through, but they feel rugged. A little tougher to break in then my last pair of Alpinestars, but they really work as advertised.
