I really like this glove. It's rugged, yet it breathes well. It makes a great summer glove, but I think it would make the switch to a winter with the addition of a liner, so that's what I'm planning on doing. The only minor drawback is that the micro-velcro closure tab can come undone unless you really make sure it's closed tight. I don't think that's too big of a deal, but others might. All in all, really good glove, great glove for the money.

Do not listen to all of the hype about Alpinestars gloves fitting small when you go to buy the Atlas. My glove size is about 9 - 9.5 so I ordered a large and I had room for both hands in one glove... Okay, maybe not that much room, but they were at least true to size if not a little big. Otherwise, they seemed very rugged and comfy. It is not too often you can find that combination of protection and comfort. I'd recommend these gloves, just don't size up like many people are suggesting.

As with everything Alpinestars makes these gloves are definetly well made. Build quality is some of the best i've seen. I got these for street/summer riding and i LOVE them. Airflow is great and cool for warmer weather. mixture of leather and other fabrics makes for great protection. little longer than a standard short glove but no wear near as long as my gauntlets. (perfect size to cover your wrist). I prefer these over my icon perf gloves so much i'm selling the icons.
