Love the Light Weight, and Graphics, But.......
My list of problems with Suomy directly.
(No Problems with Revzilla)(Revzilla is Great)
My top vent was accidentally broken and I contacted Suomy via their Website form, and after a week there was no response. I then sent an email, and days later there was no response. I called Suomy direct, selected English and when someone answered I began to speak and they hung up the phone. I then started calling and pushing random extension numbers and ended up with someone whom spoke English, and explained my problem. Instead of taking care of me, they had a distributor in Thailand contact me, and offered me this cheap little piece of plastic for over $30 usd. After complaining more I was offered a 10% discount, on this 30 cent piece of plastic. I complained back to Suomy again and they blew me off.
Problems with my helmet;
1. The shield is flimsy, and raises beyond it's intended stopping point.
2. The shield closes too easily when riding.
3. The snap that suppose to keep the end of the chin strap from blowing in the wind broke.
4. No Customer Service.
My main Like;
2. Nice graphics.

Great helmet for the price!
I have only had the opportunity to wear this helmet a couple of times since I bought it. It was a bit tight, but I decided to keep it, knowing that it will loosen up a bit. Great graphics, and very light, and aerodynamic.

I'm pretty methodical when it comes to researching moto gear before purchase. Especially helmets. I ride A TON,(commuting, twisties, trackdays)and decided i'd get as light a helmet as i could afford. I went to my local big box moto store with my trusty kitchen scale, so that I could weigh all of the helmets that fit me (i wear a medium lid).The Apex is light. Crazy LIGHT. Lighter than the carbon Agv pista gp light. 2 and 3/4 lbs light. Nothing else was even close. Now, i know it isnt all about weight, buffeting, aerodynamics,etc all play a role in the perceived comfort of a helmet, but when you are tossing your head to the side to lane check, and there's hardly any weight on your head, you can definitely feel the difference. Ive not experienced any buffeting, nor head pull with this helmet either. This lid isnt perfect however. The visor change mechanism is a pain, and the chin and forehead vent covers feel cheap/flimsy as heck, and when closed whistle dixie. In addition, the fit is on the smallish side, i still bought the medium because i was swimming in the large, but it is rather snug, especially on the forehead. All in all, if you wear earplugs like i always do, this helmet should do just fine.

Its only the second street helmet I have owned and I am pretty happy with it. Sizes run a little small. I normally wear a small but had to get a medium. Fits awesome though. Other than being a little noisey its a great helmet. Super light as well.
