Speed and Strength Women's Motolisa Jacket
Beautiful and Functional. A jacket for women.
What to do when you want to look like hot biker chick that you are, but aren't a fan of road rash. The folk at Speed & Strength have the answer for you.
It's the Motolisa line, in this case, specifically the Motolisa jacket.
Delivery was supper quick thanks to Revzilla. The packaging was excellent. It came laid out lovingly in a large, flat box. Lovingly,... yes. Someone really took time and care in making sure it arrived safely and looking great and it showed.
The design of this jacket is so much more that what the pictures reveal. Did you know it comes with a bright red, removable liner? Neither did we until we got it. BONUS! It has this lovey red hem along the collar that jumps out against the black. The embroidered pattern across the back and shoulders is just beautiful. The sleeve cuffs and the waist have adjustment belts topped with some of the coolest looking buckles I can remember patterned similarly to the embroidery .
The fit is great. Those buckles aren't just for looks. It lets you cinch where you want a snug fit, and let out where you don't. The armor is substantial without looking too bulky. The material in general feels very tough... resilient. This thing is made to ride, and it shows.
Venting could be better. It does have zippers front, back & sleeves that allows for airflow, but they seem modest. However, the jacket (un-lined) is light enough to wear in Florida summer heat without too much trouble as long as you keep moving. There isn't much that can pass that heat test.
Overall, I give this jacket a solid A. It is a clearly well thought out product by a company that seems to have taken women riders seriously.

Very stylish while being protected
This coat is great. Fits true to size. Looks even better in person and has great protective armor. It's a little short in the arms than I like but that is a common problem for me.

Great looking jacket and a full matching set can be had
I bought this for my girlfriend to match her gloves and boots, the full set really is nice.
The jacket has good ventilation and with the liner in it is warm enough for the 50s the pads are not uncomfortable and the straps on the sides and arms are not just for looks.

I got this jacket to wear in the early spring and late fall, and it feels heavy. The armor stays put, and I like that it's not a boxy fit. I tend to carry a little extra weight in my mid-section, and finding a jacket that fits and is flattering is a challenge, but this one is perfect. The back doesn't ride up, either, which is nice too.

Love this Jacket!!
Jacket is well made and sturdy. I am a 36 chest size and a 23 waist size. I ordered a Large which fit good except i would have liked the sleeves to be maybe an inch longer. Its just my personal preference due to being 5"10" and having long arms. Dont get me wrong its still a good fit. Once i put my riding gloves on, it covered the exposed skin. Elbow pads are very stiff making it a little uncomfortable. Other then that , I love this jacket and it looks great on!!!

Get more than what you pay for
Purchased as a valentines gift for my wife. overall the jacket has a ton of extras on it that I didn't expect like the full sleeve removable liner, air vents to increase comfort in warm weather. The is definitely worth the cost and my wife loves it.
