Good Starter Jacket
So I've owned this jacket for about a year now and can safely say from a beginner motorcyclists perspective how it performs.

Bang for the Buck - The jacket has CE certified armor and it has a really minimalist design, for the price it has decent features and protection. However, after a year of riding I'm certainly looking for something more protective from both a crash and elemental perspective as I'm a very safety conscious rider.

Style - The jacket gets a 5/5 in my book. I've been complimented many times on the jacket it's very sporty/matches my dual-sport and overall it's just really a nice bright jacket that turns heads.

Comfort - Comfort is certainly adequate. I'm 6'2 165 lbs. I got a size medium after referencing RevZilla's sizing chart, It fits well but the sleeves are a bit short and the armor placement took some getting used to. Although this can be attributed to me getting a size smaller than I should have, overall it's not uncomfortable in any way.

Protection & Durability - I have no doubt the armor will do it's job in the event of a crash on the street. Although, the textile is what worries me. I know the jacket is also constructed with rip-stop as well, though the jacket is very thin and I think any crash over 35-40 MPH might tear this thing up. I feel safe wearing it though, but the main reason I chose this jacket was budget and the fact that it gets very hot in Las Vegas in summer time and I think this would've been slightly more protective that a budget mesh jacket.

Air Flow - As previously stated, I live in Las Vegas so temps can fluctuate drastically between summer and winter. In the summer, I ride the entire season without being uncomfortable in this jacket. Regularly over 100 degrees the jacket flowed enough air for me to be reasonably comfortable although stopped at a light I was a little hot. As of 2/3/15 it's beginning to heat up in Vegas again around the 60-70F mark It's a little chilly for me but if I toss a sweater underneath I can stay warm. Everyone has different temperature tolerances, I can handle the heat way better than the cold. I should mention I've been caught in the rain a few times in this jacket and it's not fun. You'll get drenched, the water goes right through it. Keep this in mind if you commute like I do and the weather takes an unexpected turn.

Features - Decent amount of pockets, the vents are ok, at this price there's not much to expect.

In conclusion, great jacket for the price. Again if you're on a budget I think it's a good option but for a year round commuter it's definitely limited and you'll be looking for a higher end jacket at the end of a single riding season.

Great jacket overall for a great price!
Great jacket! I don't really have any complaints about this jacket. I wear it year round as it flows significant amounts of air to keep me cool in the hot/dry summers here in West Texas, and am able to wear it in the Fall/Winter seasons with a layer or two underneath as well. Layering is easy to do as I typically wear an under shirt, long sleeve, and a wind/water proof non-heated thermal liner underneath in the cold and it has kept me comfortable on 35' mornings. It fits true to size and is quite comfortable on and off my Kawi ZX10R, even in full tuck. The green matches my bike as well, which is always nice. The armor is good, but I always upgrade, and the low price of this jacket makes it easier on the wallet to purchase upgraded armor. The features are pretty basic, but that's to be expected for a $160 jacket in comparison to a $400 one. I am extremely happy with this jacket and have since been an avid Speed and Strength supporter. By the way, Speed and Strength also offers matching gloves and helmet with this jacket that look great together as well.

On a final note: Revzilla, wow, exceptional company with great customer service. Very happy I chose to buy from this site and will continue to do so. I received prompt responses to multiple emails I sent and there was always a friendly voice on the phone with a knowledgable rep. Fast shipping as well!

Broad Shoulders
Its hard for me to find a Jacket that fits me well for my build. I have a wide chest and shoulders and I taper down to the waist. I wear an XL Shirt American Cut fine, but always had room to spare around the waist. This Jacket on an XL fit my upper body perfect on the XL size, my biceps are tight but when I open the vents I've got plenty of room to flex. Like I said I've got a bigger weight lifters build and this conformed to me well.

XL Size fit securely on me and I feel safe wearing it.
My measurements.
Chest 48"
Waist 36" (Straps tightened to max, looks to fit up to maybe 44" waist)
like I said, its got a V taper to the cut so keep that in mind.

Side Note: I ride a 2013 Yamaha R1 and the blue on this jacket matchs pretty darn well

Exceptional style, reasonable comfort
Love the assymetric style on this jacket. and the stripe down the back looks amazing too. Fit is slightly loose, although I found this promotes better airflow. Overall quite comfortable. Great protection (CE rated spine padding is bettter than the other Speed and strength jackets in this price range). My one gripe is that the collar pokes at my neck in the front when I'm crouched forward but overall i still love this jacket.

Exactly What I Wanted!!
This is my first motorcycle jacket and my first purchase from Revzilla. I'm happy to say the experience was definitely an enjoyable one that I'm sure to be repeating soon!! Also bought the Top Dead Center Gloves and they look awesome when worn together.
Now to the Jacket
Build: For me I had no surprises and no problems. The jacket is pretty good quality, a concern of mine since I felt I was getting it so cheap. Seams throughout the jacket are stitched tight, and overall it feels well assembled.
Fit: I'm about 5'8'' 180 with an athletic build. I opted for a LARGE and wasn't disappointed. The jacket is comfortable, with room to spare if I'm just wearing a T-shirt, and allows me to fit a hoodie underneath on those cold days. It actually fits me so well I have to fight the urge to wear it even when I'm not riding.
Overall: Very happy with this jacket. I wanted something to provide me with a good launch point into motorcycle apparel, and I feel this jacket did just that.

Solid jacket
This is a solid jack for riding on nice days. It is not great on super hot summer days or cold fall days but is good for the days in between. Has a really comfartable fit which is what I like most about it. The style is very cool and the jacket is light weight. It has armour protection but the armour is very thin and not very protective from an impact in my opinion. I like this jacket and would recommend it as a secondary jacket for riding around town. If you are going to be doing any rad carving then I would suggest something a little more protective. Overall I am happy with it.

What I expected, mostly
Excellent textile jacket for the money. I bought it last season as my first jacket. I am 5'10" around 190lbs with an athletic build and I bought a large. The jacket was snug but not tight. everything fit well but the sleeves are short like others have said. Great quality and style. The snaps on the sleeves had a hard time staying buttoned on mine but not a deal breaker. After wearing it for a season there is little to no wear on the jacket.

Was looking for a spring/summer jacket. I felt this jacket would provide adequate protection while providing a decent amount of ventilation with the bicep vents. Probably a little hot on 90 degree plus days but feel that it is a good jacket for the money. Also love the color coordination with my bike.

My Fiance has the Speed and Strength throttle body jacket in pink and people see her easily and quickly yield for her. She mentioned my jacket was difficult to see so we decided on purchasing a green Speed and Strength jacket to complement hers and keep me sticking out for safety.

Because it was on clearance and was just as good as the other jacket I was considering for the occasional pillion.

Jacket is comfortable, breathes fairly well and all for a decent price. I've had it for about a year and the inner mesh lining has ripped in one area, so durability may not be the greatest...

I actually wanted the leather version of this jacket but it was out of stock in my sz. this was my original choice that lead me to even see they had the leather so I went with my first choice but I still want the leather version.

I love the look of the asymmetric design, the cost is just a little higher than a mesh but with more protection. Best bang for buck, cool design and no too flashy.

I chose the Green Speed and Strength Top Dead Centre Jacket because I own a Green ZX10. It's a great looking jacket and it is very hard to find a green textile jacket in Canada.
