I like it!
My brother wears a Shark st 2 which he likes. The new Shark ST 3 has a better fit and more features. It's lighter, and the chin bar opens better without the faceshield having to be opened 1st as on the ST2. I definitely would buy the helmet again!

Open to full faced is simple, fast, and easy.
This is my 1st helmet, awesome so far. I did a lot of research on modular, open and full faced helmets. I just love the fact I can use this helmet as an open and full faced helmet. The transition from open to full faced is simple, fast, and easy. It looks pretty cool too. This helmet fits my needs, different riding styles and price range perfectly.

Best modular helmet
This is currently my favorite helmet after one slight modification.
I have an oval head and the fit is more towards round than oval by default. First I thought the fit is fine, snug but not too tight. But after a hour on the road at 70mph I saw a huge indention on my forehead. Moreover, at speed higher than 60mph there was a noticable draft.
After a couple of tries I found this a quick workaround for both issues. If you take off the inner liner you see a styrofoam patch glued to the front. I simply cut that in half and placed each piece above the temples. This way the forehead has more room and the sides have less. Perfect fit for my oval head!
Other than that the modular function is simply awesome. And at this price the helmet is a steal. Get it now!
Just FYI, my favorite helmet before was the Arai XC-Ram.

Best Helmet Yet
This helmet did not disappoint. Apart from seeing it online, it is way better in person. The size fit pretty much true to size and it is extremely comfortable (even with eyeglasses on). The ventilation system could be better but it still preforms quite nicely. The chin bar swings up easily if you need some extra air, it'll take less than 5 seconds. This is, so far, the best helmet I have ever purchased.

Not as expected.
Good technology in helmet, ppl around you will like it, but its like bigg basket on your head, very huge, i dont understand, inside fit is good but putside shell is too huge for a normal face. also if closed helmet there is no ventilation of air so you will sweat alot, best for open ride actually, so for me its good, since i plan to buy another solid helmet for day riding, which will be lighter & smaller to carry easily.

Great Commuter Helmet
Bought the EVO 3 for me and my wife after watching numerous reviews. The helmet has a good style (though I feel it looks a bit large on the head) and seems to fit true to size. My wife has more of a round head shape, where as I have a intermediate oval head. The medium fits both of our heads surprisingly well.
The convertibility from open faced to full face is very convenient especially for long commute riding. The locking mechanism seems to be high quality, and gives the impression that it would survive well in an impact.
We currently live in a very hot climate (tropical/sub-tropical) and a bit more venting would be welcome, however with the face open, the air flow wasn't too bad. I'm sure in temperate climates, it wouldn't be an issue. The comfort liner is also incredibly comfy, and soaks up the sweat from long rides very well. The eyeglass cut outs are also a great feature.
Overall, a great mid-range helmet choice for those of us looking for a modular you can actually USE while open. Would buy it again.

Excellent Product
The Shark is an excellent helmet. It is comfortable, looks cool, and provides superior protection. A good friend of mine went down at freeway speeds after being struck by a car while wearing his Shark (Series 2, but same basic idea). The helmet saved his life, while the helmet was in the open position. As a modular, it is louder than a solid helmet, but not as loud as my last couple modulars. Airflow is not great when in the closed position, but simply pop the chin bar up and you get plenty of air. The Easy Fit option for glasses is a great feature. I wear prescription glasses and find it very comfortable. I have installed a J&M headset in mine and although it was designed for the Shark Tooth, the J&M fits nicely. I have been wearing it for about two months and love. Definitely recommend this helmet.
