Sena SMH-10 Helmet Clamp Kit - Boom Microphone
Best helmet comm in the industry
Own a Sena 10? Have more than one helmet? Save a bunch of money and buy one of these for each helmet that doesn't have a fixed chin bar. Better than the universal kit in the open/modular catagory with it's integral boom mike. I'm betting it would work pretty good for a full face, but I like the stick on dot mike model for full face helmets.

Husband Wife / Bike to Bike
Purchased the duel set and another mount for three helmet set up. Trusted the reviews on both Zila and other sources for our first step into this type of product. We are very pleased with ease of us, installation and overall quality. Distance for com use is as described in real world use, we were separated due to traffic and still had contact on intercom when out of site but with static, very clear for 1/2 mile in line of site travel. Speakers are good enough for all use but won't blow you away with music use, just good enough but that's not what we need most. Pairing for all phones, gps and units works seamlessly. Even the technologically challenged wife can work all controls. The VOX works but wind noise wouldn't allow it to shut off so we just use the jog button, much easier and extends the battery. Overall we are very pleased and would recommend.
Installed on Nolan N104, Scorpion EXO 750, AFX FX50

I've gone thorough plenty of headsets and this one seams to be the easiest and most comfortable of use

It is easy to install and It is able to talk at least 3 friends at sametime
I love because it is really easy to install in the helmet and hard to be out of order, the sound it is fair the only negative point of this product.

Can't ride without it
I've been using SMH10's since 2011. It's seen rain and snow, without issues. From sun up 'til sun down. Whether I'm commuting to work listening to music/news, or touring on the road with a passenger and other riders, this device is a must. Highly recommend - it's a game changer.
Also used it on the track, but no time for chatter out there.
I docked 1 star off 'clarity', since wind noise is dependent on the helmet - not necessarily a fault of the product.

Not much fanfare here other than to say that Sena makes good gear. This was purchased as a replacement to the original clamp that came with my SMH10. It was a bit worn and I overtightened it on a new helmet. The replacement fit the bill and even had a new configuration. Quick ship as usual with the Rev!

Worth getting if you want to communicate, or listen to music
I got this initially to communicate with friends while trail riding. The speakers work great while at low speeds, but things get muffled at high speeds with an open face helmet. Sound quality is much better in my full face street helmet, even at highway speeds. I am going to try the same thing, but with a port for ear buds to use on my dirt helmet. One friend says he has much better sound quality with that set up, but he has to deal with the ear bud wires. Installation was easy. One helmet had a spot for the speakers, and the boom microphone does not get in the way.
