Talking in a very noisy car
We bought these headsets for use in our '73 Pantera DeTomaso. Being a bit hard of hearing, and with an 84 dB noise level in the car, hearing my wife is a challenge. These headsets are great. OK, they don't wipe out background noise because they don't have big ear muffs. But, you do hear your partner loud and clear.
Worth the money!

Wind noise is a little much on intercom, ok for cell phone
With a half helmet, wind sound is distracting when on intercom with the passenger. When using it with a cell phone, driver can hear fine, but the other person can't hear you unless you cover your mouth and mic. At slower speeds, works like a champ

STEPHEN N:To start - I use these in a Pantera Detomaso - which runs at around 84 dB at 70 mph. Without these I can not hear my wife in the seat next to me. With them we can communicate and hold a conversation. The noise reduction for the microphones is very good, but heck, there is still a lot of noise that you hear because these do not have sound proofing on the head phones. None the less, so much better than nothing.
