Greatly improved! I received these pants and was immediately impressed with the improvements over the original version. This version sports several pockets that are sufficiently deep that you shouldn't need to worry about losing anything out of them while riding. They are well ventilated, well padded for a textile pant, and supremely comfortable as well as stylish. I can not say enough good things about these pants. I wore them for about 20 hours my first weekend in 85 degree weather and found them to outperform my expectations. (The fact that I received several compliments on them from other female riders doesn't hurt either.) All great things being said, my only negative comment is that Scorpion does not appear to have rectified the sizing issue. Like the original Savannah's, you will need to order a size larger. As an example, I am 5' 1", I wear size 8 pants and have a 29" waist. According to the size chart I need a medium in both the original and Savannah II pants. In reality, a medium doesn't button. Lucky for me and every other woman who has ordered the Scorpion Savannah pants only to discover this "feature," Revzilla makes exchanges very painless. All in all, I highly recommend these pants for both riders and passengers. May 23, 2013
