fit and look great! I have yet to take a spill in these (hopefully I never do) but they look and fit great. If you have a higher hip to waist ratio the pants will fit like a glove the liner won't but since I'm a summer rider that didn't matter to me. September 1, 2014
Comfortable and stylish These pants are really comfortable. I'm 5'9", size 29 waist and they fit good in length, but are a little loose around the quand and waist areas. I didn't bother returning them for a samller size cuz I don't mind the looser fit so I can wear pants underneath or just for a non restricting fit feeling while riding. I haven't rode through rain yet with them so I don't know how waterproof they are, but so far so good! July 21, 2014
Love the Yellow/Black I bought these in a size medium and wear them religiously. I love they are machine washable given the white gets dirty a lot easier. The fit a little big as I am 5'5" and weigh 135lbs. I am also curveless and buttless so this may lead to the fit as well. Love the belt feature as many of the protective pants do not offer this. Not to mention love the adjustable straps on the legs so that you can wear your layers under for cold weather riding. Got the jacket at the same time!! yellow bike, yellow gear! you can see me a mile away. ALWAYS getting compliments on this gear when I gas up. July 8, 2014
Great pants! Love these pants, but they do fit a lil snug especially if your wearing thicker pants underneath. I'm 5'10 and got the XL for the length also for the wiggle room in the leg. But I do have to wear a belt with them. The remove able rain pant is a bonus with these pants. Overall very happy. July 7, 2014
Runs Small! Of course, like most womens mtc gear, it runs small. These pants are also cut LOW, so I need to wear a belt to hold these up over my crack. I wear a 12/14 pants and fit into the XXL and they are just a little snug, but comfortable. Once on the bike, I immediately forgot about the bulk and just felt like nice, windproof pants. I wouldn't wear them around if not on the bike, as I feel like I'm wearing a skidoo suit. But for longer, colder rides these are good. June 16, 2014
Best Woman's textile riding pants I bought these pants for 3-season riding and am very happy with them. The quality, safety features, and style are in line with the price. I have another pair with more mesh which gives me better airflow in the heat but I don't feel as protected. The Savannah II are a great compromise. Only complaint is they don't zipper into my jacket. I ordered a large. I'm 5'6", 150lbs and have a bubble butt and muscular legs. The waist gaps in the back. The length is perfect. I also really like the deep front pockets. I thought they'd be shallow (worthless) from the pics but I can easily fit my smartphone in one pocket and lip gloss in the other. June 9, 2014
Most flattering textile pants These Scorpion pants are great. I also have the first Savannah pants and I think the Savannah II fit even better. 1 difference is the II has Velcro with a slip clasp vs a button at the waist. I love the way they look, the fit feels and looks good. Zip out the liner and good air flow. A lot of protection. Padded knees and hips. The II also has good deep front pockets. I hope Scorpion continues this Savannah design because I will continue to buy and wear them. Best riding pants!!! June 7, 2014
Size 9? M is perfect! This is my second pair of the Savannah II pants. My first pair I purchased in XL to ensure I had PLENTY of room for base layers during cold weather riding. The windbreaker works amazingly for that purpose. I wanted a second pair for summer riding that were more proportionally my fit, and I was concerned that the medium would be too small but the large would be too big. I wear size 9 pants, and the brand that fits me best is Ariya though Z-Co is a close second. I am 5' 6 1/2" and leggy, and these pants in an M fit me PERFECTLY. Ladies, if you are on the fence about buying them, go ahead and make the leap. With the wind liner out they breathe incredibly well - they are more comfortable to ride in than my favorite pair of jeans. The knee pads and hip pads aren't even noticeable once you are on the bike and used to the armored pants mentality, and I can wear them all day in comfort and style. Paired with the Nip/Tuck II Jacket in Orchid, the EXO-410 in Orchid, S/S Wicked Garden shoes in black and purple and the Fiore gloves in black it is a KILLER looking set. :) June 5, 2014

Denise V: I chose these pants because I liked their versatility for different riding conditions and looks. They are very protective and yet still feminine. The sizing reviews along with the mfg sizing chart made it easy to determine what size I should order. Sep 16, 2013
Ginger W: Had tried some other riding pants and they came up too high. I don't like pants that fit 'to the arm pit' nor low down on the hips. This one comes up right between the two extremes so took it 'down the middle' Sep 2, 2013
Victoria S: Didn't want a full track pant, but didn't want something too bulky either. Not my top pick, but by far better looking than other options. Aug 30, 2013
A shopper asked: I'm wondering where the waist band actually hits so I can measure correctly. At the belly button or lower? Aug 29, 2013

Ginger W: The top of the waistband comes just below the belly button slightly. Not way down on hips like most jeans do now. I will be entering a review for these pants later, but for now I can tell you that they are very comfortable. Great coverage front and back without having the waistline being high up like on other pants I have tried. Hope this helps. Aug 30, 2013

Rania M: It comes below the belly button. The waist measurement listed on the manufacturers fitment chart is jean size, not true waist. Sep 11, 2014

A shopper asked: I'm so confused about what size to get. I purchased the savannah I pants recently in a Medium and could barely pull them up, let alone zip them. All the reviews said they ran small, but unfortunately I didn't read them before purchasing the pants. Now I'm reading the reviews for the Savannah II pants and some people are saying they run small and some are saying they run large. Which is it? I don't want to have to pay the shipping fee again if I get the wrong size. I'm 5'7" and about 145 pounds. I normally wear a size 6 but I have muscular thighs and butt so slim pants tend to be too tight on my thighs and butt area. Any suggestions? Apr 17, 2014

Shawn G: I am 5' 2" and weigh 138. I bought size medium and they fit me just right . The waist is a little loose for me i wish they had a Velcro to tighten on the waist little snugger but I am overall well pleased with them. I normally wear size 6 or 7. My hips measure 39.5" and waist 29.5. I just got back from a 1,600 mile road trip and wore these pants everyday. I washed them while on the trip and they looked awesome. I got many complents on them. Lynda R: I am 5'7" 125lbs and a US size 4, with slender hips and thighs (no curves to speak of). The size small savannah II is nicely roomy on me; I can comfortably wear a pair of skinny jeans underneath. I use the side adjusters to make a more tailored fit on the thighs.

I think a medium would be fine for you. Hope that helps. Great pair of riding trousers by the way; safety conscious and pretty slick looking :-) enjoy!

CARYN M: I am 5'5" and weigh 135. I bought a medium and they are a little on the big side. looking to sell mine and order a small. whats great about RevZilla is, the return is free. so if you happen to order the wrong size its super easy to return them. I have had to return things before and it has NEVER been a problem with these guys! Jul 8, 2014

shannon G: I am 5'4 145 and the fit me well. A little long but enough room around the waist and butt to get them over my jeans if I want (though its tight). So if you plan to mostly wear just them a med should be fine. Maybe a large if you would be wearing them over other clothes Apr 25, 2014

Robin W: The Savannah II pants are larger than the I's. I think you'll be fine with the mediums. These tend to be pretty spot on with straight cut jeans as far as sizing goes. Apr 25, 2014

Justin F asked: For a female rider that is 5'9" and 140 pounds, what size would you recommend? med or large? Nov 21, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Lynda R: First off - these are awesome trousers and I love them. The zip out thermal lawyer is fantastic, and the look is great.

I am 5'7" and 125 pounds and the small is quite roomy on me, but to go any smaller would have made the pants too short. I can comfortably wear jeans underneath the trousers.

Bear in mind that I have very slim hips/butt. If you are curvier, I would say a large but if you are boyish like me, a medium would be fine.

It also depends if you want to wear anything underneath. If you want to wear jeans I would go larger, but if you only wear leggings or similar stick with the medium.

Hope that helps!

Scott H: I would think medium would be best. My wife is 5"10 and about 165 she has a large and it fits her well. She tried on a medium and the legs were a bit cramped and a bit to short.

For what its worth she loves the pants!

Stephanie B: If she can do a 32" inseam, I would say an M. A Lg would prob be pretty bulky. Nov 21, 2013

Melissa P: Large. Nov 21, 2013

shannon G: I am 5'4 and 140 pounds and I have a medium. They fit great on their own, also they have just enough room to wear over jeans if I need to, but are snug. They may be just a couple inches long for me so they would probably work for someone 5'9"...but might be a little short. Since she is taller her 140 lbs probably means a smaller waste than me, so the large would likely be to big. Nov 21, 2013

Mai-Liis A: I'd recommend size small or medium. I am 5'3'' and 141 pounds and ordered size medium, but they are a bit large to me. So I am going to order size small. Nov 25, 2013

Robin W: Hi Justin, for your weight I would probably recommend a size small. I am currently down to 140 lbs and my size mediums are too big now. Nov 21, 2013

A shopper asked: I commute 65 miles daily in dry heat and my current vented overpants stick to my thighs, which makes me roast. Do the Savannah II pants do the same? I usually wear wicking or cotton-blend workout shorts underneath. This is the decision-maker for me! And, I'm 5'4, 132. Is Medium the right size? Aug 23, 2014

Jane A: Hello! I am 5'3'' 130 pounds. I have the pants in medium. They are roomy, but really comfortable. I hate the "Mom jeans" fit that's really high on the waist. These are not hip-huggers, but lower on the waist, giving you room to breathe over the long haul. I wore these pants on a VERY hot ride (100+ degrees in Arizona) and while there's not much that's going to keep you cool while still keeping you covered in temperatures like that, I did find relief from the venting and didn't feel sticky at all, just hot. As you know, sometimes the heat just can't be avoided. Anyway, I like these pants a lot, much much better than my overpants. They are comfortable and look super cool with my Scorpion jacket! Due to the lower waist, they might gap a bit in the back for you, depending on your body type. If so, just add a cool belt. I think you'll really like these pants. Happy shopping! Aug 23, 2014

Eve K: If you take out the wind/water proof liner I don't think they will stick. I would commute about 35-40 miles to work and they were pretty comfortable. I usually wear jean under them, though, not shorts. With the liner in, they would probably stick. But if you're in heat, you won't want the liner in anyway.
I think medium might work for you. I am 5'10" and 140lbs. I bought large and they fit well. They do tend to run small.
One thing to be careful of, I burned a hole in mine on my pipes when I unknowingly brushed against my pipes! It was just for a second but was long enough to put a hole in them!
I do love the pants, though! I think they are good quality.

Susanna P: I found these pants to be well vented as long as you are moving and of course, removed the inner liner. I'm 5'3" 125 athletic build so the Medium fit well with enough room to wear leggings underneathe, the Small were too tight. Aug 23, 2014

Garrett B asked: Do these pants come with a rain liner? Has anyone tested them in the rain? Aug 7, 2014
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Robin W: They do come with a rain/wind liner. They do okay in light rain, but they will become a bit soggy and heavy. For heavy rain I definitely suggest dedicated waterproof pants as those don't hold water. Aug 7, 2014
