The Scorpion EXO-500 immediately catches the eye with its innovative design, enhanced by a superb sharp ridge on the underside of the shell. Inspired by its older brother, the Scorpion EXO-1000, the EXO 500 Helmet is based on GT philosophy and is fitted as standard with the latest generation face shield. The EXO-500 also integrates the SpeedView built-in retractable sunvisor treated with anti-fog coating on both sides.
Comprising 3 shell sizes and a lighter, more durable shell than its predecessor, the Scorpion EXO-500 Helmets will drastically change your expectations of a standard full face helmet. Featuring a very soft KwikWick 2 inner liner and triple density foam cheek pads, the EXO500 is also equipped with the revolutionary Airfit technology and a state-of-the-art ventilation system. Chances are, this Scorpion will steal the show from much more expensive helmets.

Neeraj T: Good reviews. Good features. Good price. My first helmet.Aug 31, 2014
Grace O: I chose this helmet for the hi-viz color and graphic, also for the many cool features (fog-resistant, inner sun visor, removable, washable pads) and also for the good reviews it has received. Seems like a great value for the money.Aug 13, 2014
Raymond S: I watched a review on youtube by Cycle Cruza and ordered it and still use it and love it.Jun 24, 2014
David M: Like the oil design and hopefully helps in getting car drivers to see me as they are apparently blind in Western AustraliaApr 1, 2014
Larry M: I always have liked scorpions look and fit. I choose this one just because of the neon and oiil spill look. Easier to be spotted by the cagers and looks great.Mar 18, 2014
A shopper asked:just received my exo 500 oil neon in size lg. sized it according to chart. I measured at 23 inches at the widest point checked it several times. came out same at 23 an a quarter. had my sister check it. she got 23.so by the chart I ordered a large. tried to put on would not go past my ears. also made sure it was deflated.so now I have to return it. didn't come with return label. my question is since lg was so tight.should I go xl or 2xl.?Aug 23, 2013
Alfredo R:The entry on this helmet is really tight. After the pads wear it will be easier but its a snug fit going in. Once its on however, its comfortable. I wear this helmet with glasses no problem. I like that's it fits snug, even after breaking in. My last helmet fit just right at first but then I felt like a bubble head when the padding broke in. If after wearing for a while around the house you feel like its to small, you can always exchange it easily. This is a great helmet, I've had two of them and I wold keep buing it over again. Amazing features and excelent quality for a good price.Aug 23, 2013
Raymond S:I read before buying the helmet that I needed to go one size bigger than what I measured. My measurement told me to get an XL so I ordered a XXL and it fit perfectly. So, if the L is too small then the XL should be fine. The helmet is a great choice. I love mine and it gets lots of looks. I live in Florida where it gets really humid and hot and every part of me will be sweating but my head. =)Aug 23, 2013
Devin W:Same as a above, I am usually a Medium in other helmets but when I tried this on I had to step up to Large. Scorpion seems to be tighter than HJC on the sides of my head/cheeks, which I prefer. You may want to try XL and XXL in a local store to see which fits your head shape better, just keep in mind the padding will settle/break in a little bit.Aug 26, 2013
RevZilla:In order to accommodate the internal sunshield mechanism inside of the helmet, the EPS liner is cut out and therefore compromised as it will no longer offer the same amount of impact absorption had it been a solid piece.Aug 27, 2012
Zachary H:I wear a small in any helmet, and still got a small for this helmet. It does fit snug indeed, but perfectly enough that it's not suffocating and won't move around if I were to go down. After a while it breaks in and the padding becomes a little more giving, so it won't be as snug as when you first try it on. Hope this helps.Sep 2, 2014
Raymond S:I bought mine last year (2013). I don't know if the year matters but I would think one year is no big deal but if it were 2-3 years old then I might look for something newer. Technology is always changing but I really don't think a year matters. This is an awesome helmet and I really enjoy mine. It doesn't matter how hot or cold it is the helmet is comfortable and really easy to clean. I live in the panhandle of Florida so it gets plenty hot and humid here and the helmet is fine for 1-2 hours of riding I have not done more than that in a day.Aug 17, 2014
