What's this?

Scorpion EXO-500 Corsica Helmet

The Scorpion EXO-500 immediately catches the eye with its innovative design, enhanced by a superb sharp ridge on the underside of the shell. Inspired by its older brother, the Scorpion EXO-1000, the EXO 500 Helmet is based on GT philosophy and is fitted as standard with the latest generation face shield. The EXO-500 also integrates the SpeedView built-in retractable sunvisor treated with anti-fog coating on both sides.

Comprising 3 shell sizes and a lighter, more durable shell than its predecessor, the Scorpion EXO-500 Helmets will drastically change your expectations of a standard full face helmet. Featuring a very soft KwikWick 2 inner liner and triple density foam cheek pads, the EXO500 is also equipped with the revolutionary Airfit technology and a state-of-the-art ventilation system. Chances are, this Scorpion will steal the show from much more expensive helmets.

  • KwikWick 2 liner: soft, moisture wicking, hypoallergenic, removable, and machine washable
  • SpeedView retractable sunvisor: treated with antifog on both sides
  • AirFit technology: inflate and deflate the cheek pads to make it fit perfectly for a better fit, greater safety and shock absorption
  • SpeedShift visor system: enables extremely quick visor changes
  • EverClear no-fog visor: optically-correct, aero-tuned shield with state-of-the art fog-free technology and anti-scratch hardened coating
  • Advanced polycarbonate composite engineered shell: quiet, aero-tuned designed and wind-tunnel tested
  • EPS-lined chin bar for additional protection
  • Triple density foam cheek pads
  • 3 shell sizes
  • 3 year warranty

Scorpion EXO-500 Corsica Helmet 4.6 5 279 279
Excellent motorcycle helmet, Purchase made from Colombia this is my second "Scorpion Exo " and also a " EXO -500 " I can say that the value for money is very good. But this time I have to say that the chosen color is not right ( neon yellow) color has lost its intensity with only two weeks of use. I recommend the motorcycle helmet but with another color. Well Made and very Satisfied This is my first full face helmet in almost 30 years. I am very pleased with it. It feels pretty aerodynamic and has pretty decent vision over some of the modular helmets I had been looking for locally. It seems to magnify the low roar sound of my bike, but I think that is more a factor of the exhaust than the helmet. Overall pretty quiet. I like that it has a chin curtain. Air flow is pretty good even on hot humid nights. The shield is so so when it comes to fogging, but that is always a challenge this time of year in south east Louisiana. I would definitely say I am please with the quality of the workmanship and design. I am still in the break in phase and it is a little snug, but feels better with each ride. I love the chin strap. For the price I would definitely recommend. Revzilla shipped quickly. May 1, 2016
Excellent Value Great product for the money. Looks great as well. Love the "pump" style adjustable cheek pads for added custom fit. As usual Revzilla offers the best videos and selection out there. Thanks for helping me make a great decision for a second helmet. March 8, 2016
Love the helmet Love my helmet, bought it for the drop down visor, and it's great. I have a very small head but xs fit ok, put my speakers in the ear slots and my Bluetooth on and at 70mph sounds great, still is a little noisy without nothing playing. Love the look of the helmet too April 14, 2016
A great helmet at a great price! I purchased the Scorpion EXO-500 Corsica helmet because one of the helmets I already have is an Exo-500 Heritage helmet. I like the fit, feel, and look of both helmets. For me the inflatable cheek pads are not a necessity as the 2x fits me perfectly, possibly as the helmet ages I may use the inflatables. I like a helmet which will be visible to the drivers / riders around me - hopefully adding an extra level of safety. Both of my helmets are a red, black, and yellow color scheme. The shield system works great being very easy to remove for switching and cleaning. I bought the second EXO-500 so I would have the interchangeability option. The easy flip down sun visor is an excellent option when needed! I use the Sena 20s communications system and it mounts quite easily. Being that I live in Michigan my riding is suspended until tolerable weather I cannot say that I have actually done any riding with the new EXO-500 - I presume that, as the fit is virtually the same as my other helmet that I will be happy with it. Overall - this helmet is a great value, the price is very reasonable, the overall quality is very good including the graphics, liner, and seals. Revzilla sent this helmet out to me promptly and arrived with no damage. February 9, 2016
For Entry Level I bought this helmet 2.5 years back when first learning to ride my ninja 250 and was on a tight budget. Since then, the helmet has seen a Buell Firebolt and now my 2012 R1. It has held up through the years, but I've never been down, so I can't review it's protection. This is an excellent entry / commuter helmet, and its pros and cons directly dictate that. Pros: The drop-down sunshade is an excellent feature, I believe it should be installed on every commuter helmet. It saved me on those sunset commutes on the highway where my cornea's would've been fried otherwise. Cheek pump is a cool feature for those in between size guys, but I never used it. The helmet doesn't weight a lot, it's about average and its field of view is spectacular so I feel very confident riding on congested roads and night time. Never had an issue with visor fogging. Cons: The visor is a little finicky putting back on after taking off. The "quick release" turn-style lock is tough to use, and once you think everything is locked in place, the shield pops off. Even the sales rep at my local shop had trouble putting on a smoked visor I bought. The helmet has a rather large shell size, and tends to "buffet" a lot in the wind, especially speeds >75 mph. In the tuck position, the helmet gains lift and wants to pull away from the tank and expose you to the wind. It also picked up a pretty annoying whistle coming from the top right vent at around 30 mph which, no matter what position the vent was in, would fade in and out randomly. At 100 mph the whistle is loud and defined, and pretty tough to ignore. May be a stuck piece of debris, who knows. Wind noise itself again gets loud the second you jump on the highway. It is NOT a race helmet! I didn't buy it under the impression it was, i just want to clarify for those wondering. The EXO-500 is a very good deal, and you aren't going to find more comfort or better features for the price in other brands. I have since upgraded to the Shoei RF-1200, as my riding style got a bit more serious and demanded a more refined helmet. To anyone out there wondering if this helmet is worth it, it absolutely is. Overall, a very good helmet (High Vis version) First, I should say that I ride a scooter in the city. Not some Chinese piece of junk, but a fast Aprilia. Engine size doesn't matter for urban riding, I'm doing 40-50 and speeding downtown as it is. That being said, I wanted a night helmet, with some visibility, but still good looking. And I wanted a drop down visor for night/day conditions without having to change visors. For those needs, it's a great helmet. At 40+mph there is some noise, but there always seems to be. It's a little tighter in the jaw area than my Icon Airmada (both size large). Absolutely zero fog on the main shield, which is a big concern, since the climate here in Savannah is damp year round. Sometimes there can be some minor fog on the drop down visor, but really only at a stop, the vents will clear it in a second after starting again. The pump fit feature is not something I use at all, since as I said the fit is a bit snug. I would assume that if you are between sizes, the pump could make up the difference if you order a size up. The feel is very solid and the vent and visor controls are easy to work with gloves. If I could make any change in the design I would get rid of the old fashioned D rings and put a ratcheting clip for the straps, but that's it. March 9, 2016
Solid Helmet This is my second EXO-500 that I've purchased from Revzilla. My first one worked really well after a pretty bad crash and so I went back and got the same one again. Once I need a new helmet I will keep coming back to this one. Also, it definitely fits small, order a size up. January 20, 2016
