Jay O: I traded in my old faithful Vulcan 1600 for a HD VRSCR "Street Rod". With a sport oriented cruiser; I can push the limits more so I wanted a full face helmet. To help me decide, I contacted the Revzilla Gear Geeks and Joe Chirik gave me 3 selections which met my criteria. This helmet had the best mix of features, looks, and price. (Close out savings $100) I opted for the red one as I'm hoping it will help me be seen better by drivers. I've seen 100s of reviews on this helmet, 90% were positive.Feb 5, 2014

RICARDO D: The price and design. I was looking at the solid color EXO-1100's. I bought the red Street Demon design figure it provided better visibility and was at a great clearance price and matched a Cortech jacket.Jan 2, 2014
Paul G: Mistake. Ok helmet, but should have gotten the Shoei Quest first. Can't even sell the EXO 'new' on Ebay at a greatly reduced price!Nov 3, 2013

Paul M: Great price for a well reviewed helmet (EXO-1100). Has a cool design and loads of features. I really like the internal sun visor and the air channel system. The internal materials also seem top notch compared to other helmets in the $200 price range.Oct 10, 2013
G R: My Joe Rocket $75 closeout from another store is starting to feel heavy/noisy. Plus my daily commute puts the sun right in my eyes. Figured it was time for an upgrade on all fronts.Oct 1, 2013

Steven E: Watched a lot of YouTube videos on this helmet including Revzillas. I like the ability to pump up the cheeks for a better fit. Also like the sport touring positioning. The inside sun visor is a nice touch too.Sep 1, 2013
Adam L: I hope This will a comfortable and silent helmet for sport riding and touring. I think the sunvisor, the pump up cheek pads and the shield remove mechanism will usefull sorry my english:) Adam(cbr600 rider)Aug 30, 2013
Michael V: Great helmet. Great price. Was going to buy a solid black, but decided to try this instead. The silver graphics look really nice. Fits well, nervous about ordering a helmet online, but after watching all the videos here, and with careful measurements, was able to find a great fit the first time. Thanks.Aug 24, 2013
eric j:I misread your question but, I think I answered it. Just to be clear, the visor is USABLE, and for me it does not interfere with either pair of glasses I use. In fact the visor is quite clear no distortion of glare when used with glasses. Just wish it was a little darker, but thankfully you can change it to a darker tint easily.Sep 25, 2013
eric j:The visor is USABLE, and for me it does not interfere with either pair of glasses I use. In fact the visor is very crisp and clear, no distortion or glare when used with glasses. Just wish it was a little darker, but thankfully you can change it to a darker tint easy enough.Sep 25, 2013
Benjamin F:Depends on your glasses, but as long as they don't stick out super far, it should slide right over. Although I would suggest wearing contacts anyway for better peripherals when you're riding. To each his own though!Sep 25, 2013
A s:Yes you will be still be able to use it, I wear regular glasses and sunglasses in my helmet and does not block the sun visor or sliding up or down. Very helpful part of the helmet when you need quick shadesSep 27, 2013
lance22me:I believe that the EXO-1100 is a sport-bike helmet ... I have the version called the 'street demon' and when you see this helmet you have no doubt what type of bike the rider enjoys. That said, when I'm going VERY fast (well into triple digit territory) I find that the helmet seems to catch a lot of wind if I look to one side or the other. Straight on it's perfect. Would be cool to have a helmet that you can look to one side or the other without changing the amount of drag but them I suppose I'd have to have a globe on my head. I think the aerodynamics for (very) high speed can be improved in the EXO series, but despite this one fault I think it's very good.Nov 8, 2012
Commrad:It works but it's not the best option. The brow is a little low to be tucked in and on my Blackbird it's LOUD. When your heads out in the wind it's very quiet though. Airflow is pretty low behind the wind screen but it's aerodynamically stable in any position or speed I've been at.May 26, 2013
RevZilla:Yes, the Scorpion EXO 1100 are a very versatile helmet offering the convenience of a drop down sun shield in a full face helmet providing good ventilation whether cruising, touring or sport touring.May 2, 2012
Doreen M R:To the best of my knowledge, Scorpion does not offer built in bluetooth. I have the SENA SMH10 and it works great, wether its music from my Iphone, make/receive phone calls or connecting to my wife's unit or my Son's unit. There are many other bluetooth choices, on Revzilla look at the reviews to find what works best for your needs.Nov 7, 2013
Nikolaos B asked:Hello everybody, I read with a lot of focus and all your questions and reviews. I have two (2) questions to ask about the Scorpion Exo 1100. 1) My head size is 58.5 cm. Which size do you recomend to me for the 1100? (It should be my first helmet!) 2) I searched in the Internet and noone sais about the real weight of the 1100, even the Scorpion site. Can anyone measure its weight and inform the others?
Thanks you in advance, Nikolaos
P.S. I want to thank a lot the RevZilla for the really awesome work that they done and do!!! The whole site is very exciting and I like a lot the freedom that they give to the customers. Keep up the good work guys!!! I like it a lot. Thank you very much.Nov 30, 2013
Alexey G:Hello Nicolaos. My head size 60 cm, i buy XL size helmet and it not very good fit to my head, because my lower jaw is in one millimeter from helmet. Internal sun vizor - not good idea. When he is folded- he shakes. I reccomend look other helmet. Scorpion - good look, and no best for me. I use it as second helmet. My favorite - Shoei, he ideally fit to my head, if you can test scorpion - i recommended try it in local store. If you want P.S. Revzilla really best :)Dec 2, 2013
John M:I wear a 7 3/4 baseball hat size and according to the manufacturer I should wear a Large. So I bought a large and it was too small. I read that this helmet fits small so I would recommend going online to see what size you need and if you are close to needing the next larger size go ahead and order the next larger size. A shopper asked:My question has to do with EXO 1100 fit. I wear a large in every helmet I have however I tried on a Scorpion EXO 500 and had to go to a 2XL. The XL was very tight so would I need a 2XL if I were to buy an EXO 1100 Street Demon?Jan 20, 2014
A s:My hat size is 7-5/8" so I need a 2XL Scorpion helmet. My first Scorpion helmet was an EXO-400, my second was an EXO-1000, and my EXO-1100. All of them have been 2XL. Anything smaller is so tight that it is uncomfortable! I really enjoy the retractable dark lens in the EXO-1000 & EXO-1100. It beats having to carry two face shields.Jan 20, 2014
