Scorpion EXO-1100 Jag Helmet
This is my second helmet but it is very nice. I have a riding buddy that has the 1000 and says this feels lighter. The flip down shade is a nice perk and the ability to customize the fit on the fly is outstanding.

This helmet gives me all the features and doesn't hurt the pockets
If your looking for the aerodynamic look and feel then this is the helmet for you! Everytime I look at this helmet it puts a smile on my face just because it looks so good and looks like I paid a ton of money for but I really didn't. This helmet has all the features you will ever need in a helmet plus it's got excellent air flow!

Good helmet, minor issues
I've had this helmet for a while now and am satisfied with the purchase. FYI, using with a SENA SMH10 (fixed boom) Minor mod to get this to fit right.
Likes: Nice comfortable fit for me. Don't need to use the pump since the fit is good as is. Had a drop down visor in a previous helmet and really like these. Reasonable venting though not as much as a previous Suomy. Nice bright visibility on the "Hi Viz" paint scheme. Easy face shield removal and replacement. Quieter than my modular, duh.
Quibbles: Would like to have a newer easy chin fastener system. Personal preference would be to have the drop down visor a little darker.
Issue: The helmet has a small lever on the side to "crack" the visor for defogging and such. I find the lever a little hard to use with my winter gloves. This lever is supposed to reset when you open the visor and close it again but mine tends to not work that way leaving a gap on the left side of the visor where the plastic lever is out of position. I then move the lever out of the way and it's fine.
Overall I'm happy with the build, weight, and noise at this price point.

- Plenty of ventilation.
- Flip-down visor, easily manipulable.
- Wide vision.
- Plenty of ventilation. A bit much for colder weather.
- Top vents and visor latch are difficult to manipulate with gloves.
- AirFit felt gimmicky and I didn't feel much of a difference fully inflated.
- High wind noise.
- A bit "boxy" looking - just not my style.

Great helmet. Alittle louder than expected.
So far I have about 30 hours of riding in this helmet. It is quieter than my previous helmet but when in mid tuck it can pretty loud. It is great for an upright sportbike. No buffeting or much head wobble.

Love the Hi-Viz but...
The helmet is good overall and has good features. I have used it extensively for 6000kms in extreme heat, cold and heavy rains. It performed ok in all conditions. The Air flow is good.
1. The visor is a scratch magnet, specially from inside. You have to be really careful how you clean it. It was a big downside for this helmet at this price range
2. The anti-fog doesn't work in rains. i kind of expected this since no helmet is completely fog proof in heavy rains. (I did use the feature to keep the visor slightly opened)
1. Good graphics
2. The internal sun visor is good ad on
3. Pretty light for all the features
4. Good fit

Great vision and comfort for the noise
Pros: wide angle of view, super soft and ventilated. Love the button
Cons: even at low speeds it get pretty noisy, I guess that's what earplugs are for

No no no no no.
Had the EXO 700. Loved it. After a toss in the dirt, decided to get a new helmet, as you should when it takes a hit. The EXO R410 seemed like junk. Spent all of about 30 seconds with it before putting it back in the box. The EXO 1100 fits comfortably for my head-avg. oval shape. Not a big fan of the Reebok pump-like add-on, or the internal visor that doesn't come down far enough. The internal visor cuts right through my field of view, so I'll never be using it. The helmet is way noisier than the EXO 1100. I find myself closing the upper vents over 60 sometimes because it's just too much noise. The included clear visor & the gold mirror visor (another $55) absolutely fog up. It's incredibly disappointing! The plastic of this EXO1100 is a huge step up from the EXO-R410 model. They at least did that right, but the fogging, extra noise, & internal visor fail all make me wish I'd gone with a different brand this round. After only a few weeks with the helmet, I'm already shopping for something better since I'm so fed up. This will be a short term helmet for me. The R2000 may be better, and I believe pin lock is available for that model, but if I recall correctly, it's for more of a racing position. I'm looking for a helmet for a more upright/touring seating position.
