Every thing is as advertized! Most products are advertized with the best results posable this product has exceeded that. Such as battery life, After the first charge I used it for 12 hours. the manual says 6. The blue tooth works great, volume level has to be turned down, Some reviews said it was not loud enough. Must be a hearing problem there. I found the volume more than needed, not less. I am very impressed with this product to say the least. I have owned many systems with Touring bikes this one is way over the top. Yes it is expensive, but proves you get what you pay for!!! October 12, 2014
Great......except I have had my C3 and SCR for a couple years now. The bluetooth is great, battery life is great, sound quality is very good, convenience is great, I love them both...except. The boom Microphone is cumbersome, and uncomfortable. The small size of the helmet is an plus but the small size also makes the boom Mic press against my chin. I can't understand why a company that does this quality of engineering still has this issue. I see no reason they couldn't have one or two small microphones that slip into pockets in the front of the cheek pads and eliminate the boom. The cheek pads are close to the mouth and a couple small microphones would work fine with the helmet closed when riding and open when parked. The only good thing I can say about the boom is that after two years of jamming it up and down to put the helmet on it hasn't broken. September 8, 2014
Excellent product. If you love High tech; music and comfort, that is the product. June 17, 2014
Amazing integration with helmet, easy to assemble. Simply perfect When looking at helmets, my biggest concern was finding a helmet that had a decent enough bluetooth system or could have one easily mounted, mostly for phone GPS purposes. When I saw the review on Revzilla, the search was over. Even after the sticker shock, I knew it was the helmet and bluetooth I wanted. After 3 weeks of riding with it, I am confident I made the right choice. The GPS works great and is as clear as can be. What really surprised me is how well the speakers sounds when playing music. I was truly impressed. AND then I find out that you can listen to FM radio, and that is a nice bonus. I was worried about the buttons being too small, but they are actually pretty easy to locate, even with leather gloves on. The boom mic actually fits into the helmet pretty easily, which was another one of my concerns that has been alleviated by such an amazing product. The speakers and neck roll were easy to install as well. June 16, 2014
Not worth the price. I was using a Blackberry 9970 to pair with this system. Pairing was fine as was listening to music via Bluetooth. However; I could not answer a call via voice activation and after receiving a call the system would loose pairing with my phone and in many instances completely turn-off. System was returned to Schuberth who said it was working normally. I returned it to Revzilla (thanks for all your help by the way) and traded it in for the Sena SMH10 which works flawlessly. Had to use the adhesive mount provided with the kit but it works great. No FM radio with the SMH10 but happy with the switch. Buttons with the SRC were also difficult to manipulate with gloves on. wrong initial questions on this reveiw Love the SRC system with the exception of ..When you have 2 smart phones bluetoothed to 2 seperate helmets and music playing you cant communicate between the 2 without turning off music to one then pausing the other. and voice activation will kick you off you music and you have to do a restart on your SRC April 10, 2014
Very neat The reception is not as good as other units that fit on the outside of the helment, n=but is is very neat, compact and functional. I ride in all conditions (including rain) and it has work very well. April 9, 2014
Nice addition to my C3 This thing is great! When riding around town, I prefer to not listen to music because it's too distracting, but for long highway trips this is excellent. Pairs easily with my iPhone 4S. Sounds great on my GS (which admittedly has hardly any wind noise to begin with). I haven't tried the intercom system yet, but the phone works well. My head is gigantic so the boom doesn't fit inside the helmet without actually rubbing directly on my mouth, but I don't imagine I'll be riding down the road talking on it that much so I have been just folding the boom down so that it's actually outside of my helmet. This thing isn't cheap, but it does fit perfectly with the helmet, works well, and is easy to set up. If you are certain you need tunes or an intercom/phone while you're wearing a C3, I high recommend it. February 3, 2014

A shopper asked: on the new c3pro helmet the antenna is in the helmet, do you have to attach it to the neck collar? and with the antenna inside the helmet are there any issues with RF and the brain? I am an ole geezer don't have much grey matter left, don't want to fry what's left. also is there a hard wire component to attach to the bike so can leave helmet in tour pack and charge while on break from riding? Dec 15, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Stacy M: Unlike the C3 Pro, the antenna is built into the collar - nothing to attach other than the collar and speakers to the helmet. No issues with the RF that I'm aware of either personally or otherwise. The helmet charges using a mini-usb plug. The same plug doubles as an audio input if you choose it over bluetooth. If you charge the helmet the night before you ride, I believe you'll find the charge will last most, if not all day. I listen to my iPod via bluetooth and have an occasional conversation with my wife on her bike and I've really had no issues with the battery. This helmet is safe, comfortable, quiet and the electronics are second to none. If you're considering the purchase, you could do a whole lot worse than the C3 or C3 Pro. Enjoy! Dec 15, 2013

William O: It works great as far as RF I used this helmet for 2 seasons and put on roughly 7000 miles if they affected the old grey matter it has made me a happier biker. I listen to my music via Blu-tooth and I dont have a problem . I dont know what kind of bike you have but you can usually place a power port plug to charge it when not in use. I have ridden 6 hours and didnt need a charge. I charge it nightly Dec 16, 2013

daniel s: The src pro system has to be used with the c3 pro with the built in antenna and has to be connected to the helmet. I have the old src from ny regular c3 that I've out in my c3 pro. I can't answer about rf issues. It charges via a micro usb so you can charge it that way on the bike. Dec 15, 2013
Reply to daniel Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Eric D: Yes, there is a connect to the helmet antenna. No, there are no issues with Bluetooth, it is very low energy. You'll get more radiation exposure from the sun while on bike. And yes, there is won easy to access USB connector in the back so you can charge the helmet, while on break. Dec 16, 2013
Reply to Eric Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
John M: The only installation required is to snap the SRC collar onto the helmet and locate the speakers in their respective recesses. I'm not aware of any additional connections. There should not be any RF issues as this is a receiver, not a transmitter, so any RF that is present is there whether or not you have the SRC. The charger is the common USB, so if you have a 12 volt USB adapter you should be able to charge it using the 12 volt plug on a bike. Note: The USB charger that is included is 110 volt, but any USB adapter should work. My issue with this option is the weight. I removed mine after I used it for about a week and it now resides on a shelf because I didn't like the additional weight of the SRC which is very noticeable. Dec 15, 2013

Stacy M: I always charge mine the night before a long ride and it will easily last all day listening to music. Oct 25, 2013
Reply to Stacy Good answer? Yes (1) No (0)
Rodney B: I cannot give you an exact duration because I only listen on shorter local rides of 2 to 4 hours. Other wise I do not like the distraction from riding in traffic.
I will tell you I rode 7,000 miles to Colorado and several western states with my cell phone connected thru my GPS and never had any loss of power and these often were on 10 hour plus days! I have forgotten to charge the system and it still did not loose function.
The helmet and SRC system are a 10 in my opinion. The system fits perfectly and you will not feel any components through the liner.

A S asked: in the c3pro helmet ; the antenna is already installed into the helmet, do you have to connect it? are there any issues with RF inside the helmet? ole geezer not much grey matter left, don't want to loose any more. And is there a hard wire system that can be installed in the bike so can leave helmet in tour pack for charging while out chasing the wild life? Dec 15, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
thomas d: I bought the SRC for my C3 (2012 model). So far, love it. Sound is not very loud, but folks on the other end of phone conversations hear you loud and clear. I have a HD Ultra Ltd w/Von Braun pipes. The drone from the pipes makes it a little difficult to hear sometimes. Antenna is an integral part of the SRC. No additional connections required. I know of no RF issues, not to say that there aren't, but I've had no issues with it. My Tour Pak has a 12v in it. If you have a 12v cigarette adapter with a USB, the recharger for the helmet will work off of that, so you can be out and about while the helmet is stowed and charging. My only slight complaint with the helmet is that the volume could be a little louder. It adjusts to external noise conditions (rev'ing etc.), but I have tinnitus, so I could use more volume. Dec 15, 2013
Reply to thomas Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Chuck H: No, there is no external antennae on the SRC that needs to be connected. I have not had any issues with any interference from RF using it with a Honda Goldwing, however, I have had issues with spark plug static when using it on a Harley. Any hardwire system that will receive a USB connection will make charging the SRC system on the bike possible. Again, the USB receptacle would need to be hot in order to charge in your tour pack while out chasing the wild life. Dec 15, 2013

Rodney B: Geez: The fit is perfect. No connecting or assembly of unit is necessary.
Install according to directions, it and you are good to go. Any Blue Tooth set ups are easy. My phone works through my BMW NAV 4 Garmin GPS.
I do not know of any on bike recharging equipment. If Schuberth offered any I would think they would be advertizing it and they are not. I have not had any issues with the battery life, even on my trip to Colorado. Good Product.

A shopper asked: THE SCHUBERTH SRC SYSTEM FOR C3 IS WATERPROOF?? THANKS!!! Aug 30, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: The Schuberth SRC System, which is actually a Cardo G4 inside of a Schuberth C3 neck roll, is not waterproof. However, it is water resistant and since it is inside of the neck roll and thus inside the helmet you should not experience any issues with water under normal use. Just don't go swimming in it, but that's just sort of a general rule when it comes to helmets. Aug 31, 2012
Reply to RevZilla Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Stephen E.: Waterproof = no, water resistant due to the rubberized outer framing, and the consideration that it is installed as your neck roll.

Schuberth does not warrant the product as waterproof, but they say riding in the rain is no problem for it.

BluSkyz: I used mine with a Droid 2 and another brand of MP3 player, though there should be no difference with the iPod as it will be hardwired to the headset. There is a limitation of one Bluetooth and one "plugged in" device so the Garmin and iPod would not work together. Sep 27, 2011

Robert H: After you've measured your head, notice there is a size chart just above the "select size" dropdown menu on each of the helmet pages. Just match your head size up against the chart and you're good to go.
There are two sizes for the SRC system and these are based on the two shell sizes available for the Schuberth. So for example if your Schuberth helmet is a size LG you would select the first size of the SRC system.

A shopper asked: One of your previous questions might have provide the answer but I need to clearer. If the paring is not possible, what would be the best answer? I already have the C3 helmet and was looking to save up for the audio from you.
If they can not pare up, how is the FM reception from this system?

A shopper asked: Can it be installed on shark evoline helmet???? May 20, 2012
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: The SRC System is specifically designed to replace the neck roll in the Schuberth C3 helmet with a new one containing the Bluetooth system. It is neither a direct fit nor is it adaptable to any other brand/model helmet. May 23, 2012

A shopper asked: I run the Zumo 665 GPS module... I store and play my audio libraries from the Zumo. My iPhone 4s pairs nicely to the Zumo, with call management actuated via the Zumo's touch screen. Does the Zumo 665 have the ability to stream music and audiobooks, and phone conversations to the SRC? Apr 7, 2012

A shopper asked: I have an older, non-Bluetooth GPS. I've seen lots of Bluetooth transmitters that you can plug into speaker jacks for MP3 players, etc. Will these work with the SRC? I'm trying to pair an iPhone (also music source,) my GPS and radar detector via two Bluetooth dongles. I know it's not common, but will it work? Feb 20, 2012

RevZilla: The Schuberth SRC System for C3 is only Bluetooth GPS compatible and will not allow for a wired connection between the devices. May 2, 2012

A shopper asked: Ive just brought the Schuberth SRC from my local dealership and have charged it up etc and I can pair my iPad 2 wirelessly without fault and I managed to pair my phone also but I don't know how to make both work at the same time. For example, I can have music playing via my iPad but when I receive a call it goes through to the phone instead of the helmet/headset.

I'm baffled.

I know it's possible as it mentions it in the 3.0 update but doesn't mention how to actually do it.

Many thanks in advance.
