Rukka Hero Gloves (Size 10 Only)
Great short-cuff gloves with one or two minor gripes
I wouldn't wear these in 102 degree heat. But they're good for massive temperature shifts: mid-to-high fifties to mid-to-high 80s and it's easy to forget you're wearing them.
The leather feels high-quality, and construction seems sturdy. I feel like I'm actually wearing a glove that will protect me, which is more than I can say for other pieces I've slipped on (I'm looking at you, Icon Pursuit).
Fit seems true to the size chart. My 10s are slightly snug, which is what they claimed. I'm hoping they will break in a little. I don't believe I could size up, which introduces my two minor complaints.
1) Index finger length. It's a tad long until I cover the clutch/brake. It gets more annoying than it sounds.
2) Scaphoid slider. Having broken my scaphoid previously, I very much appreciate this feature. However, it's slightly intrusive of the palm. I'm getting used to it, but when you've got a piece of hard material contacting the grip, it's just a bit strange.

Happy with fit, build quality, and protection.
I've had these gloves about a month now and they're the best I've ever had. They fit true to the size chart and quickly became perfectly sized for my hands. The build quality seems excellent (just like my lobster gloves), and the features are well thought out, such as the reflective patches on the knuckles and stretchy leather on the top of the hand. The only area that worries me slightly is the velcro on the wrist eventually failing. The speed of velcro is always a trade off though and when after a few years it does wear out if the gloves are still in good shape I will likely just have another patch sewn on.

Satisfied with Glove!
Well made. Solid fit. Slider does not get it the way. Good protection in a short glove.

Great simple black glove!
I was looking for a pair of black leather gloves with good protection that would last. So far, these check the first two boxes. Hard to say about the longevity, but if past experiences with Rukka are any indicator, they should last several years.
The leather is noticeably thicker and softer than the more plasticy leather from some other brands. These are the first gloves I've had with palm sliders. I was a little worried about that at first, but they totally disappear once on the bike. I hope to never have to try them out!
The fit is good around the hand, but the fingers are a little long even compared to other Rukka gloves. After a few rides in the rain I'm sure that will change...

Good protection, easy on & off
I was looking for a good glove that would go on & off easily.
My "Apollo" from Rukka are made to be worn over the sleeve and take too long to get in place right. These "Hero" gloves go inside the jacket sleeve and are just perfect for the summer.
One thing though, the Velcro at the wrist would sometimes get caught in the lining of my Rukka Airway jacket, so I cut a piece of matching Velcro and put it over the exposed Velcro, the problem went away.
