Get a size larger than you think you need.
Maybe they're designed this way, but getting my hands through the wrist portion of the glove was an ordeal. Once on however, they fit...like a glove (excuse the pun).
You would think they would open up more at the wrist of the glove to let your hand in and allow for the velcro strap to cinch things up but thats not the case. Get a larger size than you're accustomed to...or deal with feeling like you're raping a cow.

Dang Excellent Gloves
I always had a cheap leather glove before. I planned on upgrading and chose the Dainese Black Jack. I wanted to have that vintage-rider look that is why I picked those gloves. However, I did order and returned those gloves twice! The fit really did not feel right. However, when I tried the Ronin Gloves, it is PERFECT! It also matched my Ronin Jacket so it really is good. Perfect product! I highly recommend it.

Good styling and fit but...
When I first put the gloves on I was really pleased with the fit and styling. I wish the glove had a bit more protection as well. My real gripe is that I own otehr RSD products and am very happy with them. These gloves started falling apart at the unstressed areas where there isnt much stretch. The threads came apart on one glove and the other had started to do the same so I hung em' up. Also I only wear the gloves to ride and wass surprised that two of the perforated holes became quite enlarged for no apparent reason such as snagging on something, which did not occur. Sadly I cannot recommend this glove.

Comfort and Stability
If I'm honest with you, I thought I'd made a bad purchase at first. I spent a day with these gloves in the sweltering heat riding for about 4 hours. It was kind of frustrating ...the gloves felt a little stiff and some of the seams on the inside were slightly irritating. The next day, I rode again for another 6 hours or so and towards the end of the day, the gloves began to break in and feel great! The airflow on the inside isn't great ...but for the price point, the look and overall feel of the glove is top notch. They're well put together and are padded properly to provide the right support in case of a fall. The only other knock that I have against the gloves is that the fabric on the inside of the glove rubs off on your hand. When you remove your hand from the glove, it looks like you put your hand in soot. Aside from that, great buy!

Stitches gave out on first ride
Great gloves. Look good. Comfortable. Fit is spot on.

On the first ride, the stitches on the tip of the right index finger started to unravel. This means that one of the four strips of leather that join at the fingertip is sticking strait out. This doesn't affect the function of the gloves, but it is just SO ANNOYING. If this were to happen on a jacket or boot it wouldn't be that big of a deal, but on the index finger of my dominant hand... I feel it when i pushed to buttons to open my garage. I feel it when I reset my trip when i fill up the tank. etc. etc.

I know I could probably request a replacement glove, but life is just too short to go through customer service for something like this. Really disappointing.

Beautiful gloves, excellent fit
Very soft leather, excellent fit and just plain beautiful design to go with my RSD Ronin jacket.

Fit is a bit tight, as previous reviewers state, more like an euro brand, definitely smaller than other RSD gloves.

No regrets at all.

Nice construction and slim fit
These are some well constructed gloves. The padding is soft so don't expect too much impact resistance. They are definitely tighter than RSDs other gloves. A LG feels like a typical MD from RSD. I would go one size up. They fit much more snug than the other RSD gloves as well so they are good for people with long narrow hands and fingers. Also, the red glove is just like the picture. It is a pretty strong color.

Well made and quality material, however......
Very nice gloves, well crafted and high quality leather. i own the Ronin jacket (tobacco), and it is simply amazing, so maybe I expected too much from the gloves.
First, the color; I kind of assumed the gloves (Ronin, and tobacco) would match the jacket better. They're really dark brown, and I don't feel they match the jacket very well.
Second, the gloves in general; maybe it's just because they are such supple leather, or maybe it's just that I am used to race gloves, but they feel kind of thin to me. Like not very substantial.
At the end of the day I feel like I paid $100 for a really nice pair of work gloves. Like the ones you can pick up at your local home improvement store for around $20. I'm keeping mine, but I wouldn't buy them again.

Decent glove.
Was very excited to get these gloves. The brand makes great products. The pictures on the site also make them look stellar.
When I first got them, I ordered a Large, as I am a 9.5 glove. Couldn't even get them on my hand. After sending them back and getting the extra large, they finally fit.
My first impression was, they look and feel slightly cheap. After contacting the company, found out they were made in Pakistan. The leather feels, well, cheap. I expected a much better quality leather for the price.
The stitching is done well. However I find the fingers to be slightly short, as when I am riding, my fingers slide up and I can feel the seem and stitching digging in to the tips of my fingers.
All in all, they are good gloves, the style is right. I bought them because there isn't alot of choice out there apart from the ugly plasticy race style gloves everyone makes in the US.
They would definitely do the job if I bit it on the bike, as they are well protected, and I am still waiting for them to break in and be more comfortable.
I would recommend a corrazo cordero instead based on quality and price.

Didn't like the quality or color in person
All pictures of the tabacco color of the roland sands gloves make the brown look rich and oiled in texture. These are more of a drab brown in person. Also the quality of the leather and the dye seems poor. There are a few white-ish nicks on the palm side of the gloves and dark nicks of the back side. Cant tell whats going on. Not sure if its RSD in general. I did try on a clash jacket at a moto show this month. The leather was amazing in black and the fit and finish was top notch. These gloves just didn't live up to my expectations.

These are really cool again love Roland Sands Style. Will warn you I have short fingers and they don't fit perfect for these gloves. Still they are too cool so I go with the hand over on my fingers.

Took me so long to decide on a glove. Originally wanted the mission, but decided to just go with the Ronin. I was riding with cheap dirt bike style gloves, and the upgrade is unbelievable. The stitching was a little wonky in certain places, but it hasn't unraveled or anything. They were tight at first, but now that they are broken in they fit like second skin.
Jordan P on Aug 29, 2014
They just look great and it seems they offer decent enough protection for urban cruising.
Renze R on Aug 20, 2014
These gloves are made of cheap leather and poorly constructed. I found cheaper gloves from Rev'it of better quality, looks, fit and protection. I have been only disappointing in the Roland Sands product.

How are these for the winter season, considering 30-40 F as the lowest temperature?
A shopper on Oct 11, 2015
BEST ANSWER: I wouldn't recommend these for winter riding, they are basically vented leather with a thin layer of lining... I have these myself and am currently looking for something warmer myself. Excellent lightweight spring/summer/autumn gloves though.
what does the interior of the tobacco glove look like? materials? color? perforation?
A shopper on Apr 15, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I ordered the Tobacco color. The interior is a red fleece material. You can also see the red through the perforations in the fingers.
