excellent value great summer glove with decent ventilation. seems like good quality and build so it should last for years. just what you'd expect from Rev'it. July 9, 2014
Excellent Glove I love these gloves. Perfect fit, great airflow, sizing runs small so order a size up. They've held up well. July 8, 2014
Strong and Slick The Rev'it! Striker Gloves are very efficient to use. They are not as bulky as some of the others and allow me to even pull out cash to pay the toll without having to take off my gloves. The smart phone finger display feature is very helpful when having to stop and reconfigure my gps. The gloves have good airflow and the design is slick. I use the black, red, white design. Tony These are my first street bike gloves and since i am used to off road gloves i rated the air flow of this glove based on that. It is good enough that my hands never get hot but its not breezy like a mesh top is. Otherwise i am very happy with them. The touch screen fingers work fantastic and while i thought i wouldnt use them, they certainly came in handy when needed. June 30, 2014
Review Update I have previously reviewed this Glove size XL. Changed to XXL and the fit is perfect. If you are buying this glove go 1 size up of your normal size. Very nice glove. I use during days on the summer. June 23, 2014
Nice summer glove with adequate protection So let's get the fitment out of the way: I typically wear Medium, and had to get a Large. The Large will fit just right, and by that I mean just a bit snug, and the finger length is just right. If you like your gloves a little looser, then you probably have to go 2 sizes up, with the caveat that you'll start messing with finger lengths. The Strikers do let the air flow better than my previous Revit Monster gloves, so that's a plus. There are a couple of internal stitches that you can feel with the tip of your fingers, but nothing too distracting. The gloves do seem to benefit from a break-in period, I now find them more comfortable than the Monsters on long rides. In terms of protection, they seem adequate to me. I always worry about protection vs. cost vs. breathability, and these gloves definitely have more protection than a $40 pair of gloves I owned several years back, which gives me better peace of mind. The slight protection upgrade for the $99 Monsters (now the Bombers, I believe) doesn't seem to be worlds above these Strikers, and the Strikers feel better to me. June 17, 2014
Attractive glove that fails to deliver. Had these gloves given to me as a gift and, while initially impressed with the style, overall I would not recommend these for purchasing based on poor durability and lack of overall protection. I used these gloves fairly regularly over the preceding summer and fall months and had been happy with the style and touchscreen features. Unfortunately, the gloves quickly broke down at the seams and the touch screen panels began to lose their conductive quality. Now they have no connectivity, and because of the lack of overall protection, there is no compelling reason to ride with them…I’ve switched back to my regular no-name leather gloves. Pros: - Stylish. - Highly breathable. - 2-way stretch spandex is comfortable and doesn’t bunch up. Cons: - Expensive - Little to no protection! TPR hard shell knuckle appears cheap and thin. Breathable material offers no abrasion resistance. The EVA foam over the fingers and palms is thin and I doubt would hold up to any serious scraping. - Fits extremely small - Conductive material breaks down (? tarnishes) very rapidly and are not useable one year later. - Conductive material not as shown in pictures. The panels are much smaller and located in the tips of the fingers instead. May 19, 2014
Don't believe the hype I got my pair yesterday and I can promise you that all the 5-Start "Zomg They are so Amazing" reviews listed here are a gross exaggeration. First, let me tell you what wasn't an exaggeration in the reveiws, but rather an understatement. These gloves don't only run small, they run EXTREMELY small. According to their sizing chart, I ought to be somwhere between an XL and an XXL. Listening to the advice given here, I ordered the XXL. Well, I gotta tell you, those are still too small. Of all other gloves, I wear an XL and have NEVER needed a XXXL glove (lol). The truth is, these are not european cut, but are women's cut. So, I recommend you get two sizes up if you are going to get these. Second, let me get back to the exaggerations. The features and protection of these gloves do no merit their cost. For close to $90, I expected a lot more out of these gloves. The knuckle guard is nothing special. The padding in them is just ok. And the pictures of them having a full finger print of touch-friendly faberic is a lie. The only have as small strip of it around the edge of the thumbs and forefingers. Truthfully, these gloves should cost 2/3rds of what they do. Executive Summary: I'm returning the gloves and not for a bigger size. They are nice, but not worth the price or the ridiculous sizing issues they have. May 14, 2014

Gregg A: Great gloves for 3 seasons of riding. Winter, excluded. The sizing runs a but small so go up one size for better fit. They have great stitching and armor. Very comfortable glove, when you get the for correct. Mar 17, 2014

Jin P: iPhone touch screen technology, versatile looks, affordable, knuckle and palm protection, summer glove Feb 10, 2014

Ryan T: Great price for a set of streamlined subdued gloves that will do their job when I need them to. They match my Rev'it jacket well. Besides I enjoy a little bit of unconventional gear...Japanese and Italian bikes and gear are great and all, but not for me! I'll walk a different path and Rev'it blazes trails exceptionally well. Eric S: I bought these as a gift for a friend. I chose them because I've had good experiences with the REV'IT brand. Aug 7, 2013
Steven K asked: I have the dreaded long palm/short finger combination that makes finding the right glove a real hassle. The vids make these look like the fingers are somewhat long. What's your take? Aug 15, 2013

A s: Here are some of my own hand measurements to give you some idea and background data, going from the center of my hand.
Palm Length = 4 Inches
Middle Finger Length = 3 Inches
Palm Width Top of Hand = 3.5 Inches
Palm Width Middle = 4 Inches
Palm Width Wrist = Roughly 3 Inches

I have the large striker glove and it is extremely tight on my hand, and by tight I mean that the gloves take about 5-10 seconds to get on and off for each hand. With that being said they are perfect for my fingers and do not have much extra material on the tips, or anywhere for that matter, which is how a motorcycle glove should fit. If you want a tight fit and have similar dimensions as mentioned above go with the large glove, but the fingers are shorter than most of the other large gloves that I tried on when I went to Revzilla.

Also as a side note the gloves are great in all aspects and I would give them five stars and recommend them to anyone who was shopping.

David T: I find that the gloves require a size up. I myself don't have octopus-like fingers, but I found that everything was nice and snug with the correct size.

I usually wear a large but bought an XL based upon the reviews and I was not disappointed. Again, a snug fit.

A little bit of length isn't a bad thing as when you are operating the bike there is some finger movement as you pull in the clutch, operate the front brake..

I find them to be very comfortable but do take a couple rides to break-in.

G. Shannon P: I would consider my hand a large but I bought the XL. At first it was a bit tight but now my gloves fit perfectly. The fingers are not long as they appear in the photo. That's probably like the big fish picture effect. When it's held out in front it appears bigger. Anyway, to be clear, the fingers are not long. My gloves fit my hand perfectly. The palm on the grips are very smooth and comfortable too. Great glove just get a size larger and you'll love em. Aug 16, 2013

Barry W: Yes, I would say they are on the longer side. And that could be from the way they are built, which is definitely on the smaller side. I wear a large in a textile cortech, but had to go all the way to a XXL to get a good fit. I don't like a real tight fit because it makes my hands go numb after a couple of hours. I do have long fingers & these fit me perfect. I would say they are my favorite gloves so far. Aug 16, 2013

Ted W: I have pretty small hands and definitely do not have long fingers. I love these gloves. Usually, I do wind up with more room than I would like at the ends of the fingers. I have not noticed this as a problem with these gloves at all.

Do pay attention to their sizing guide. I ordered a size that I usually would not consider and they worked to be just right.

Philippe S: Gloves finger length are standard. The gloves run small so I ordered a XL though i am normaly a L and they fit fine. If you have short fingers you may want to order a size smaller than you need. Since these have fabric, they will stretch more than leather might. Good luck. Aug 16, 2013

Kevin Y: I have a pretty average shaped hand (not extremely long or short fingers). I have both this glove and Revit Carver, both of the same size. The Carver fits me a bit too big around the fingers. The Striker though fits me perfectly. Aug 16, 2013

John W: Steven,
I have a small hand and my palm is as long as my fingers. These glove fit alittle tight in the begining but after a few few rides broke in well. I like the dexterity I have with these gloves.

Eric D: These fit my hands well (fingers included) but they are a bit tight width-wise, mainly in the palm area. I like the gloves overall but had to return them for an "up size" to XXL. Hope this helps... Aug 16, 2013

Justin N: Not sure if this helps at all, but I have long fingers and a large wasn't big enough. The gloves are so tight, I can't wear them. So, for me a size up from normal is what I needed. Aug 16, 2013

Michael M: In general the gloves run small. I ordered my usual size XL and had to return them for XXL. My fingers are snug in the XXL so I would not say that the fingers are long. Aug 16, 2013

J A: My fingers are a bit on the short side, I often have extra bits at the end of my gloves that annoy me to no end, but these fit great, or at least better than most. Aug 16, 2013

A shopper asked: Hi, I watched both reviews of subject gloves. I ride BMW K1200S or K1200RS. I prefer the "look" of the Striker vs the Neutron. I'm guessing the Striker is "burlier" since its intended for off-road use as well as street use. Is there that big a difference in the exterior dimensions between the two gloves. It appears that the Striker offers more protection than the Neutron, but, maybe its more cosmetic than functional. Thanks. Feb 1, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
interactive3: There's not much difference at all. I found the Striker to be more comfortable than the Neutron. That's the important thing. Otherwise the knuckle protection is different and some of the cloth cuts/types are slightly different. May 15, 2013

RevZilla: The Striker glove is more protective than the Neutron, as it has hard knuckle protection. The Neutron, in the other hand, will be a bit lighter with its thermoplastic rubber (TPR) knuckle protection. Feb 1, 2013
