Excellent Warm Weather Glove While I haven't had too many occasions this season to wear them, I have been please on the times that I have. They fit perfectly and the airflow feels great. I had a pair of Revit Comet gloves prior to this, which were my "go to" summer riding glove. I believe that these will be a perfect replacement for those gloves. April 7, 2014
AWESOME gloves for commuting! I originally ordered a S and M. From measuring my hand width, it's about 8 inches. The Medium fit better on my palm area, but the fingers were too baggy and long. It was hard to use the smartphone connect fingers since it was a bit baggy. Now with the Small, I initially had a hard time putting on the glove. But after about 1-2 hours of use, the gloves seemed to stretch out a bit and fit my hand snugly. Also, the fingers are the perfect length for me and allows me to use the phone fairly easily. It does have a premium feel - especially with the underside of the glove. I think over time, the glove will stretch out, especially as I keep putting it on and off, but right now, it's the perfect glove. March 29, 2014
Nice summer glove I got these to replace a pair of Rev'it Comets. The Comets saved me during an off (car ahead brake-checked me, fronts slipped on an oil patch, and I high-sided), so I wanted something similar with good airflow and knuckle protectors. The Strikers seem to fit the bill. On the fit-and-finish side, I noticed that the panels were not all symmetric, but that's really just nitpicking. As for comfort, the seams are on the inside. My Comets originally felt scratchy for the same reason, but broke in over time. I measured 9", but I'm glad I got the XL size, L would have been too small. Airflow seems good, but we haven't had a warm weather day in Colorado yet. The touch-screen pads are a welcome addition. Palm padding helps on longer rides. March 25, 2014
Perfect! These gloves are awesome. Beautifully made and comfortable. Get a size smaller than normal and the fit great. Add in the iPhone touch feature and you have a perfect pair of summer gloves. March 24, 2014
Good glove choice/outstanding protection I needed a glove for extra protection....more than mesh summer gloves. These gloves are well built and have all the features I was looking for. REV'IT makes good stuff. I wear a large in all my other gloves.....and ordered these in Large. These gloves run small....if you think it's going to be close, order up a size. I was able to make mine fit by stretching them out just enough using Premier brand Shoe Stretch (liquid)....amazing product, worked great. March 10, 2014
Comfort, function, and safety. I got a chance last weekend to go for a spin with these gloves. They are very comfortable; I especially like the flatness of the thumb pad, and the excellent feel through the palm leather. Air flow seems to be very good, but hot weather will tell the true tale of air flow. Light weight and feel good on. I had my Garmin hooked up to test the Connect fingertips and those work as advertised. I plan to use these as both commuting and touring gloves and I'm satisfied with the level of protection offered for those scenarios. I think sizes run a bit small. I have a newer pair of RevIt! Monster gloves in an XL and they were borderline too small until worn around a bit and on the bike a few times. Very comfortable now. The Striker gloves in the XL I returned for XXL and that fit is correct. They seem like they'll be durable enough for a number of years through my type of use. Reasonably priced. February 27, 2014
Buy a Size up from the Sizing Chart I'm writing this to help others with the fit when ordering. My hand measures 8.5 inches around, at the widest point, and 7.5 inches from the base to the tip of my middle finger. My middle finger is just over 3 inches long, so I have relatively short fingers. I initially ordered according to the sizing chart which put me into a Large. The fit was snug, but it required a bit of effort to close my hand around the grips. Because of their construction, I don't think that these gloves are going to break in much, so I returned them for an XL pair. The XL pair fits great, and the fingers are not overly long. They are just long enough so that my fingers do not touch the interior seams at the end. If you have long fingers, these gloves may not comfortably work for you. My recommendation is to order a size up. For this price range, the construction is pretty good. There is double stitching on the most stressed areas. I ride a BMW F650GS. February 24, 2014
Happy with this gloves. Revit is a good brand. This are mi second pair of gloves from Rev'it and i love them. I like the look, the knuckle protections and the touchscreen pad feature. They breath well, so i can use them almost all year. If it get's cooler or it's gonna rain i use the REV'IT! Carver H20 Gloves. So with this two pairs of gloves i'm cover ( in my country the weather is pretty cool for riding!) I fell down thanks to a taxi cab passenger that opened the door. So after the accident i decide to buy better gloves. i bought this pair because someone post in a review that this gloves saved his hands. I'm really happy with this gloves and i believe Revit is a good brand Definitely recommend this product! February 13, 2014

RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Gregg A: Great gloves for 3 seasons of riding. Winter, excluded. The sizing runs a but small so go up one size for better fit. They have great stitching and armor. Very comfortable glove, when you get the for correct. Mar 17, 2014
Michael H: The reviews that made me feel comfortable that I live in a mid temperature environment and need the glove to respond to not too cold and not too hot days. Mar 17, 2014
Jim G: Hard shell knuckle, owned a Rev'it before (Comet) that held up in a crash. Phone compatibility a plus. Mar 3, 2014
Jin P: iPhone touch screen technology, versatile looks, affordable, knuckle and palm protection, summer glove Feb 10, 2014
travis s: Touchscreen control ability and some sort of protection on the knuckles and comes in white to help beat the heat in summer just a little more. Jan 7, 2014
Juan V: I am looking for a glove for on-road and off-road. Jan 3, 2014
Ryan T: Great price for a set of streamlined subdued gloves that will do their job when I need them to. They match my Rev'it jacket well. Besides I enjoy a little bit of unconventional gear...Japanese and Italian bikes and gear are great and all, but not for me! I'll walk a different path and Rev'it blazes trails exceptionally well. Sep 11, 2013
Eric S: I bought these as a gift for a friend. I chose them because I've had good experiences with the REV'IT brand. Aug 7, 2013
Steven K asked: I have the dreaded long palm/short finger combination that makes finding the right glove a real hassle. The vids make these look like the fingers are somewhat long. What's your take? Aug 15, 2013

A s: Here are some of my own hand measurements to give you some idea and background data, going from the center of my hand.
Palm Length = 4 Inches
Middle Finger Length = 3 Inches
Palm Width Top of Hand = 3.5 Inches
Palm Width Middle = 4 Inches
Palm Width Wrist = Roughly 3 Inches

I have the large striker glove and it is extremely tight on my hand, and by tight I mean that the gloves take about 5-10 seconds to get on and off for each hand. With that being said they are perfect for my fingers and do not have much extra material on the tips, or anywhere for that matter, which is how a motorcycle glove should fit. If you want a tight fit and have similar dimensions as mentioned above go with the large glove, but the fingers are shorter than most of the other large gloves that I tried on when I went to Revzilla.

Also as a side note the gloves are great in all aspects and I would give them five stars and recommend them to anyone who was shopping.

David T: I find that the gloves require a size up. I myself don't have octopus-like fingers, but I found that everything was nice and snug with the correct size.

I usually wear a large but bought an XL based upon the reviews and I was not disappointed. Again, a snug fit.

A little bit of length isn't a bad thing as when you are operating the bike there is some finger movement as you pull in the clutch, operate the front brake..

I find them to be very comfortable but do take a couple rides to break-in.

G. Shannon P: I would consider my hand a large but I bought the XL. At first it was a bit tight but now my gloves fit perfectly. The fingers are not long as they appear in the photo. That's probably like the big fish picture effect. When it's held out in front it appears bigger. Anyway, to be clear, the fingers are not long. My gloves fit my hand perfectly. The palm on the grips are very smooth and comfortable too. Great glove just get a size larger and you'll love em. Aug 16, 2013

Barry W: Yes, I would say they are on the longer side. And that could be from the way they are built, which is definitely on the smaller side. I wear a large in a textile cortech, but had to go all the way to a XXL to get a good fit. I don't like a real tight fit because it makes my hands go numb after a couple of hours. I do have long fingers & these fit me perfect. I would say they are my favorite gloves so far. Aug 16, 2013

Ted W: I have pretty small hands and definitely do not have long fingers. I love these gloves. Usually, I do wind up with more room than I would like at the ends of the fingers. I have not noticed this as a problem with these gloves at all.

Do pay attention to their sizing guide. I ordered a size that I usually would not consider and they worked to be just right.

Philippe S: Gloves finger length are standard. The gloves run small so I ordered a XL though i am normaly a L and they fit fine. If you have short fingers you may want to order a size smaller than you need. Since these have fabric, they will stretch more than leather might. Good luck. Aug 16, 2013

Kevin Y: I have a pretty average shaped hand (not extremely long or short fingers). I have both this glove and Revit Carver, both of the same size. The Carver fits me a bit too big around the fingers. The Striker though fits me perfectly. Aug 16, 2013

John W: Steven,
I have a small hand and my palm is as long as my fingers. These glove fit alittle tight in the begining but after a few few rides broke in well. I like the dexterity I have with these gloves.

Eric D: These fit my hands well (fingers included) but they are a bit tight width-wise, mainly in the palm area. I like the gloves overall but had to return them for an "up size" to XXL. Hope this helps... Aug 16, 2013

Justin N: Not sure if this helps at all, but I have long fingers and a large wasn't big enough. The gloves are so tight, I can't wear them. So, for me a size up from normal is what I needed. Aug 16, 2013

Michael M: In general the gloves run small. I ordered my usual size XL and had to return them for XXL. My fingers are snug in the XXL so I would not say that the fingers are long. Aug 16, 2013

J A: My fingers are a bit on the short side, I often have extra bits at the end of my gloves that annoy me to no end, but these fit great, or at least better than most. Aug 16, 2013

A shopper asked: Hi, I watched both reviews of subject gloves. I ride BMW K1200S or K1200RS. I prefer the "look" of the Striker vs the Neutron. I'm guessing the Striker is "burlier" since its intended for off-road use as well as street use. Is there that big a difference in the exterior dimensions between the two gloves. It appears that the Striker offers more protection than the Neutron, but, maybe its more cosmetic than functional. Thanks. Feb 1, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
interactive3: There's not much difference at all. I found the Striker to be more comfortable than the Neutron. That's the important thing. Otherwise the knuckle protection is different and some of the cloth cuts/types are slightly different. May 15, 2013
Reply to interactive3 Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
RevZilla: The Striker glove is more protective than the Neutron, as it has hard knuckle protection. The Neutron, in the other hand, will be a bit lighter with its thermoplastic rubber (TPR) knuckle protection. Feb 1, 2013

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
