Good protective summer glove
My hand measures 9 inches around at the knuckle, so I should take a large glove. But with an index finger of 3.5 inches and middle finger 4 inches, I have never fit into a large glove. This glove in an XXL size fits me in the fingers and isn't too loose in the palm. In fact, if my hands are sweaty, they are tight enough to be slightly difficult to put on. So if you have meaty hands, XXL may be too tight for you.<br>If you have long narrow hands, this is your glove.

Great Gloves!
Based on the size chart I should have ordered a medium (my hand is 8" in circumference at the knuckle). Revzilla recommended I purchase a large, which I did, and they're a perfect fit. Thanks Revzilla!<br><br>I was able to test the gloves for a couple months in late summer and early fall. I find them very comfortable, well ventilated and haven't experienced any discomfort from internal stitches or seams. After this short break-in they're still fitting comfortably snug. Definitely a summer glove because even riding in temperatures in the low 50s without knuckle guards you definitely start feeling the chill. The touchscreen contact patches worked great too.

Don't believe the hype
I got my pair yesterday and I can promise you that all the 5-Start "Zomg They are so Amazing" reviews listed here are a gross exaggeration.<br><br>First, let me tell you what wasn't an exaggeration in the reveiws, but rather an understatement. These gloves don't only run small, they run EXTREMELY small. According to their sizing chart, I ought to be somwhere between an XL and an XXL. Listening to the advice given here, I ordered the XXL. Well, I gotta tell you, those are still too small. Of all other gloves, I wear an XL and have NEVER needed a XXXL glove (lol). The truth is, these are not european cut, but are women's cut. So, I recommend you get two sizes up if you are going to get these.<br><br>Second, let me get back to the exaggerations. The features and protection of these gloves do no merit their cost. For close to $90, I expected a lot more out of these gloves. The knuckle guard is nothing special. The padding in them is just ok. And the pictures of them having a full finger print of touch-friendly faberic is a lie. The only have as small strip of it around the edge of the thumbs and forefingers. Truthfully, these gloves should cost 2/3rds of what they do.<br><br>Executive Summary: I'm returning the gloves and not for a bigger size. They are nice, but not worth the price or the ridiculous sizing issues they have.

Comfort, function, and safety.
I got a chance last weekend to go for a spin with these gloves. They are very comfortable; I especially like the flatness of the thumb pad, and the excellent feel through the palm leather. Air flow seems to be very good, but hot weather will tell the true tale of air flow. Light weight and feel good on.<br>I had my Garmin hooked up to test the Connect fingertips and those work as advertised.<br>I plan to use these as both commuting and touring gloves and I'm satisfied with the level of protection offered for those scenarios.<br>I think sizes run a bit small. I have a newer pair of RevIt! Monster gloves in an XL and they were borderline too small until worn around a bit and on the bike a few times. Very comfortable now. The Striker gloves in the XL I returned for XXL and that fit is correct.<br>They seem like they'll be durable enough for a number of years through my type of use.<br>Reasonably priced.

Nice summer glove
I got these to replace a pair of Rev'it Comets. The Comets saved me during an off (car ahead brake-checked me, fronts slipped on an oil patch, and I high-sided), so I wanted something similar with good airflow and knuckle protectors. The Strikers seem to fit the bill. On the fit-and-finish side, I noticed that the panels were not all symmetric, but that's really just nitpicking. As for comfort, the seams are on the inside. My Comets originally felt scratchy for the same reason, but broke in over time. I measured 9", but I'm glad I got the XL size, L would have been too small. Airflow seems good, but we haven't had a warm weather day in Colorado yet. The touch-screen pads are a welcome addition. Palm padding helps on longer rides.

These gloves saved my hands
After an inadequate turn and loss of rear wheel traction I crashed at >40mph impacting a guard rail. My right hand absorbed a large amount of force dislocating 3 joints and fracturing one. The interphalangeal thumb joint (the last joint on my thumb) dislocated and lacerated through a 1 inch hole in the skin. Luckily, I was wearing these RevIt striker gloves and the joint itself (though protruding from the skin) did not contact the asphalt or other contaminants. As a result the thumb healed without any infection. Had I not been wearing the gloves or was wearing gloves with a less snug fit, I'm sure the damage to my hand joints would have been worse. The knuckle guard also absorbed an impact preventing my left hand from being injured at all. Even after this, the gloves are still in nearly new condition.<br><br>I don't expect that any motorcycle glove could have completely prevented the injuries to my hand but the snug fitting and durably constructed Revit striker did the best it could.<br><br>Pros;<br>-The dual layer of the glove along with memory foam embedded into the knuckle pad makes it extremely comfortable<br>-The goatskin palm has very good grip on the motorcycle controls<br>-The fingertip controls do allow use of the touchscreens<br><br>Cons;<br>-A bit expensive but hey if it saves your thumbs then no glove is too expensive.

I wear a large, bought an XL, fits like a... :)<br>A few things though:<br>The thumb and forefinger material to operate a touch screen are not on the bottom of those fingers. Instead they are stitched to the edge (right under your nail as if your pointing). Still works great but I thought I'd mention it as it doesn't look like the pictures.<br>Material breathes VERY well, great for summer.<br>Very happy with them. New favorite summer gloves.

Good glove choice/outstanding protection
I needed a glove for extra protection....more than mesh summer gloves. These gloves are well built and have all the features I was looking for. REV'IT makes good stuff. I wear a large in all my other gloves.....and ordered these in Large. These gloves run small....if you think it's going to be close, order up a size. I was able to make mine fit by stretching them out just enough using Premier brand Shoe Stretch (liquid)....amazing product, worked great.

Good air flow and value for the money
Live in the south so i needed lots of air flow for riding in the summer. Would have prefered all leather but tried gloves from Icon and Revit in leather. None had the air flow of these. Decided that with the knuckle guard and leather on the palm and parts of the fingers, this was the best compromise between safety and comfort. The wrist closure is slightly longer than on some of the other gloves, which I like. Ride a small Triumph and big BMW. These look the part in all black. Normally a Large but, as suggested by the site, they run small. XL fit perfectly.

Buy a Size up from the Sizing Chart
I'm writing this to help others with the fit when ordering. My hand measures 8.5 inches around, at the widest point, and 7.5 inches from the base to the tip of my middle finger. My middle finger is just over 3 inches long, so I have relatively short fingers.<br><br>I initially ordered according to the sizing chart which put me into a Large. The fit was snug, but it required a bit of effort to close my hand around the grips. Because of their construction, I don't think that these gloves are going to break in much, so I returned them for an XL pair.<br><br>The XL pair fits great, and the fingers are not overly long. They are just long enough so that my fingers do not touch the interior seams at the end. If you have long fingers, these gloves may not comfortably work for you.<br><br>My recommendation is to order a size up.<br><br>For this price range, the construction is pretty good. There is double stitching on the most stressed areas.<br><br>I ride a BMW F650GS.

I needed to find another glove because the leather gloves I owned had holes. I purchased these because they were a summer glove (though I kinda wish I would have bought a waterproof glove now [might buy one for the track]), because they had a nice amount of armor and hard protection, they fit under the jacket (wish I had bought gauntlets to use for track though), and they have the ability for touch screen fingers!

I have the dreaded long palm/short finger combination that makes finding the right glove a real hassle. The vids make these look like the fingers are somewhat long. What's your take?
Steven K on Aug 15, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Here are some of my own hand measurements to give you some idea and background data, going from the center of my hand.
Palm Length = 4 Inches
Middle Finger Length = 3 Inches
Palm Width Top of Hand = 3.5 Inches
Palm Width Middle = 4 Inches
Palm Width Wrist = Roughly 3 Inches

I have the large striker glove and it is extremely tight on my hand, and by tight I mean that the gloves take about 5-10 seconds to get on and off for each hand. With that being said they are perfect for my fingers and do not have much extra material on the tips, or anywhere for that matter, which is how a motorcycle glove should fit. If you want a tight fit and have similar dimensions as mentioned above go with the large glove, but the fingers are shorter than most of the other large gloves that I tried on when I went to Revzilla.

Also as a side note the gloves are great in all aspects and I would give them five stars and recommend them to anyone who was shopping.
i bought these gloves as my first pair of riding gloves. They fit a bit tight, but not uncomfortably so and i was wondering if these will break in and stretch out a bit?
David W on May 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: David these gloves do stretch a bit. Mine fit perfect when I got them and now they're a little roomy, as long as they're not cuttin off your circulation your good. The strikers just get better with time lol
The picture of the gloves shows the Connect material on the right glove is it also on the left fingertips? I am left handed and my iphone is mounted on the left handlebar. Thanks.
Robert S on Jul 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Yes it is on the the index finger of both hands. That being said the material tore off of mine fairy early but I by no means have 'taken care' of my mitts. I brutalize my bike and my gear and I still strongly recommend the Striker Gloves, they've been excellent for me and despite losing the material I still find using my phone easy as the seam on the fingertip works like a stylus!
Is SM size smaller than XS? Thank you.
A shopper on Mar 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: XS stands for "Extra Small" and is usually smaller than SM, which stands for "Small"
I read all the reviews and Q&A, but still not sure on sizing.
My palm circumference is 8.5", base of pam to tip of middle finger 7 7/8" , middle finger 3 3/8" .
Normally wear an XL in other brands. Gear geek suggested XL based on my measurements, but some of the reviews would suggest 2XL.
Hoping someone with the same or similar measurements could chime in ?
William W on Oct 19, 2015
BEST ANSWER: These gloves are small. Becareful. I bought a pair on my regular size and they were very tide. One size more is ok but it also depends on how loose you wear your gloves. If you like something looser it would be to size bigger.
I noticed that the Connect fingertips are shown for the right glove are they also included on the fingertips for the left glove? My iphone is mounted on the left handlebar and I am left handed. Thanks
A shopper on Jul 13, 2015
BEST ANSWER: yes, On my pair of REV'IT Striker gloves the Connect fingertips are on BOTH left and right gloves. They're on the thumb and index finger and work very well. These have become my favorite gloves out of all the pairs i own.
Hi, I watched both reviews of subject gloves. I ride BMW K1200S or K1200RS. I prefer the "look" of the Striker vs the Neutron. I'm guessing the Striker is "burlier" since its intended for off-road use as well as street use. Is there that big a difference in the exterior dimensions between the two gloves. It appears that the Striker offers more protection than the Neutron, but, maybe its more cosmetic than functional. Thanks.
A shopper on Feb 1, 2013
BEST ANSWER: The Striker glove is more protective than the Neutron, as it has hard knuckle protection. The Neutron, in the other hand, will be a bit lighter with its thermoplastic rubber (TPR) knuckle protection.
Is there cushioning on the palm of the glove?
A C on Apr 30, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Only on the lower quadrant of the palm. There's a triangular patch of what feels like dense memory foam meant to protect your scaphoid.
Will these gloves operate an Iphone touchscreen?
A shopper on May 2, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Worked great for the first couple seasons, but the conductive areas of the glove wore down/tarnished quickly and are no longer functional.
Need 5 or 6 suggestions for all day touring comfort good protection, in a summer glove. What gloves do you suggest?
Lewis S on Feb 15, 2015
BEST ANSWER: These have been a solid, well built pair of gloves. I have worn them now for about 1 1/2 yrs with no complaints. They have been far more comfortable than my previous pair of leather summer gloves and continued to meet my riding needs well into the fall and early spring riding season. Finger tip control of cell phone has been exceptional. Have yet to take a fall with these gloves but finger, palm, and knuckle portion of glove appears well armored. My son has a pair and has been very satisfied.
