REV'IT! SLR Race Gloves
My favorite 4 season gloves
I've tried light, non-gauntlet gloves with minimal "armor" and heavy, ultra armored beastly gloves. This glove is simply my favorite. You can easily tuck in your leather or textile jacket in the cuffs of these, even with a hoodie underneath my jacket puffing up the wrists of my jacket.
It wears in quickly, under a month of daily use. It breathes well but is not cold, until you start riding in sub 50F weather. It has great protection, I've been down in 2 slow speed drops and these gloves were good to go, a bit scratched up on the pinky and heel of the hand armor, but not compromised. It looks great in my opinion, and Rev'It is simply the best brand I've found yet.
This is my second pair, the first pair were splitting in the palm and had basically reached unusable status after 2.5 years of daily use (I commute on my bike). I wore them from 110F days down to 45F mornings, rain and shine. Amazing gloves.
I am 6'3" 225lbs and ride a FZ8, I first wore a XL but my second pair was an XXL, the XL was a good fit but the fingers always were a tiny bit crammed, the XXL is perfect fit, I wish I had the XXL from the beginning.
I think they discontinued these gloves, with the "new" version being the Jerez Pro (linked below) but when I need a new pair I'm buying Rev'It. I

Favorite Piece of Gear until I had to use it
These were my favorite piece of gear I had until I had to use them. I have huge hands with very long fingers and fortunately these fit my very well. Incredibly comfortable, very breathable for sub 100 degree weather (I didnt test Higher than 90).
Long of the short of it is that when I went down in a lowside at about 40mph into gravel the stitching on the right glove palm gave through. My hand is a little cut up, but I was very surprised they didnt hold up. I would be concerned what would happen at higher speeds if you hit asphalt with them.
I can post pictures if necessary.
Loved the gloves but dont think I will be buying Revit gear again.

Great gloves for any type of rider.
At first one may think this is primarily for track use, but these gloves provide the perfect level of protection whether you are a track or commute rider.
Good airflow and weather protection (driven at 80+ and 60F weather).
Definitely recommend watching the sizing videos as well as overall globe types review if you are a newb. True to sizing and a perfect match for REV'IT jacket (Stellar).

Great gloves! Great value!
Armoring in all the right places. Well made. All stitching flawless. Good range of motion for bike controls. Very comfortable. They run a little on the small side. I'm always on the border between large and X-large. I opted for the large and they are a tiny bit short in all fingers and thumb. Only noticeable when riding an hour or more. I only have a couple hundred miles on them so I hope they will continue to stretch. Had I to do it over I would go with the X-large in these gloves.

Almost no airflow
No airflow. not that comfortable. Also, it is not practical to put it on your wrist.

When I first got these gloves they were really tight especially in the pinky fingers. However, after wearing them for a few months now they have loosened up and fit perfectly. The leather and armor spots seem thick and I don't have any worries about them falling apart. I love the wrist protection as I can pull my jacket cuffs over the gloves. I can easily manipulate all controls on my bike with the gloves on. I have had zero issues with the small metal loop as I saw other people have. Overall, I do recommend you try these gloves out.

Awesome! Must have.
I ride every day, commuting, sweet little day jaunts down HWY1 to morro bay and back to trips to LA to visit family. I use these gloves EVERY DAY.
I use a joe rocket atom jacket on most days
A rev'it CR set of leathers for more sporty days.
These gloves are perfect.

Great on the track
They fit like a glove. Beyond that...
I bought these for track days. When I got them in I was impressed by the quality and fit. I have pretty big hands but went for the Large. The fit very snug but I prefer a snug fit in gloves. I hate extra bulk and in the fingers and palms I like the thinnest leather that will still do it's job.
I decided that it was a good idea to check them out and break them in on the bike before my track day so I took them out for about a 125 mile ride. Man, on the street they are so tight that its VERY difficult to manipulate the turn signals with my right thumb. BUT, these are intended for track riding and there is no signaling on the track.
On the track day I brought an older pair of gloves just in case. I didn't need them. On the track the gloves felt great and I don't recall a single moment where I felt too restricted.
All this said, if I bought 1 size larger, they would be just fine on the street. So far I am really happy with these gloves and I'm looking forward wearing them on the next few track days I have already booked.
