Great Low-profile Summer Glove.
My only gripe with the Sand Pro's was that the sizing was a little wonky when I got them. If you fit a large in Alpinestars, you'll be a large in these.
That being said, the Sand Pro is a pretty solid glove all around. It's definitely built for summer time, less aggressive riding, and perhaps even offloading. The gloves are made out of something like a dozen different materials (including two different types of leather) and fit very naturally and comfortably. There was no break-in period for them at all. The perforated/mesh bits breathe like a pair of lungs, though curiously somewhat better on the underside than the top while riding.
You're sacrificing a bit of protection with these. There's leather and rubber bits in places where you'd need them (knuckles, carpals and tip of the ulna), but I don't know how well these would perform in a high-speed slide or a sharp impact compared to a glove with an encased carbon fiber hardpoint or whathaveyou.
Besides that, these are probably the most handsome pair of gloves I've ever owned. The patternwork and coloring make them look oddly futuristic. Also, a word of warning to folks with long hands- The space allotted to your pinky is generous to say the least while your index finger may feel a bit cramped when you first put these on. I may have to reinforce the stitching in some areas because it's starting to fray after (compared to my other gloves) fairly little use/abuse.
I'm not certain I'd consider these $120 gloves. I've seen similar gloves (as far as materials and protection are concerned) go for $60-$90. Hopefully these will last me long enough to be considered a fair investment.

Comfortable, good looking and protective glove
I haven't rode since 1992 and needed some good riding apparel. I selected this glove based on the Revzilla and other reviews. My hand is between a large and extra large in sizing. I order the XL size and it fit perfectly. Very flexible and love the protective features. I ride a dual sport and commute to work several times a week. The gloves also look good with my Teiz air shell riding suit. I hope to never test the gloves by sliding across the asphalt. Been there, done that. But if it happens I am sure the gloves will hold together. I highly recommend these gloves

When it gets hot out and you still ride, these are great
I actually have two pair of these, one for DS riding where they will get nasty dirty, and one pair for the work commute.
As a mesh based item these cannot give you the protection you probably had on your hands during the cold months, but in the heat you do make some choices. These are a very good choice.
I have found these to very comfortable and good wearing gloves. I went with one size up to fit.

Great all around gloves
I find they run a bit on the loose side but overall a great all around glove. I can definitly feel the air flow through the top of the glove and keep my hands cool. They also look awesome and match the Sand jacket/pants (as they should!). Only downside is the price.. ouch!

Great glove and looks good
I bought the large 5'-- 10" 200. The fit is very good. Can't feel the seams. Feels good inside. Several compliments. For Texas, these are a 3 season glove. Winter (with silk liner) Spring and Fall. I will need more airflow for the Summer months, but that's Texas weather. Good grip and control feel. Easy to push the buttons on my 2013 RT. I don't know about the longevity or protection (hope to never find out) but I suspect they will perform well if the dirty side is other than down :) These gloves are comfortable.

Very comfortable, yet surprisingly subtle, highly protective gloves
These fit fine (in large) for my size 9 hands. The comfort is great, and riding with them also doesn't impart vibration to my hands, due to the good palm padding. They are really fairly subtle (in all black), for such a highly technical, well armored glove. Quality of construction appears initially good.
The air flow is fairly good in my hot & humid locale, for my touring and commuting. But it is only April. Will report if things change over the Summer.

Oh so very comfortable.
This is the first short cuff motorcycle gloves I've ever owned.
I have 2 pairs of high end race gauntlets and two weatherproof gauntlets.
These are extremely comfortable. When I'm wearing my gauntlets they are the very last piece of gear I put on before heading out. Not so with these. My helmet is the last piece I have to put on, which might not seem like much but it's great especially in certain climates.
Not as much protection as compared to my gauntlets but that is to be expected. However I am not too worried with these on.
Air flow is great. It keeps you cool without feeling like your hands are exposed to direct wind.
I personally prefer the badass look of a full race gauntlet but these are still great looking.

Best glove!
I live in Texas and it tends to get hot even in the winter....... The reason i like this glove so much is because the knuckle protection is in a honeycomb pattern allowing more movement in the area. Also it does not squeeze down on my knuckles when i shift or brake. Great air flow as well. Rev'it has a great product here.
