Those looking for a jacket to wear on an around-the-world trip need look no further than the REVIT Sand 2. The already popular Sand jacket has been improved with a bevy of innovative new features. The jacket features adjustable VCS | zippers that increase ventilation by 200 percent over the original—plus, it has a wind-catcher feature integrated into the zipper for even greater airflow. The jacket is compatible with both Leatt and MOVEO neck brace systems, the latter of which conveniently stays attached when taking the jacket on and off. The Sand 2 also comes with a connection zipper. This makes it easy to connect the jacket with compatible REV’IT! trousers and eliminates any gap that would allow water to creep in. With the inner membrane removed, the outer shell can be upgraded with a Challenger cooling vest insert. The Sand 2 comes with CE shoulder and elbow protection and integrated reflective panels for nighttime visibility.
The Rev'it Sand 2 Hi-Viz Jacket is best jacket I have ever owned
I recently purchased Rev'it Sand 2 jacket, Rev'it Airwave overpants, and Rev'it Sand Pro Gloves from Revzilla. These are the best fitting gear I have ever owned. Been riding for 35 years. The Customer Service at Revzilla helped me pick everything so there was no sending back. I called many other online sellers and Revzilla helped me out the whole way. Will be buying again what ever I need from this company. Did a simple vid on my purchases on youtube at "Padre Prepper"

First ADV jacket... Well worth it
This jacket is awesome. I had to get it exchanged due to it not fitting.I'm 6'1 and 205 lbs size XXL. I used this jacket in the winter in 20º weather for a couple of weeks and this jacket sure holds up I could have gone longer but my hands couldn't take it for more then 1 1/2 hrs . I wore it recently in a downpour and I swore that when I got home I was going to be soaked but guess what I was completely dry underneath, the jacket was really soaked. The color is great and the style is nice. The only thing I don't like about it are the big front pockets. I'm curios to see how it will be in the humid NYC summer season.

Great jacket with tons of built in flexibility
I'm 6'4, 185lbs with a 39.5 inch chest. I ordered the L and XL so I could try both on and compare because I was worried the L would be too short in the arms and waist and the XL being too baggy in the arms and body with the liners out. My initial concerns were almost right on the money, but I knew I would probably have an issue finding a coat that fit perfect considering I'm tall and skinny. However, everything else about this coat is exactly what I was looking for. Great ventilation with the liners out and the straps on the body and arms when I pull them all the way in allow for a snug fit even with the XL. With the liners in and sweatshirt, I simply let out the adjustment straps and still have enough room while maintaining a snug fit. I initially was going to keep the L, but ended up going with the XL bc the coat has so much adjustment and I upgraded the back armor which is thicker than the foam pad that comes with the jacket. The L was just a little too tight with the liners in and a hooded sweathsirt across my chest area and armpit area. I looked at a lot of jackets before this one, and none of them had everything I was looking for except this one. This jacket is plenty warm down into the 30s and has just the right amount of hi viz where it still looks great. I use this coat for commuting back and forth to work and weekend trips.

Very well made with attention to detail
Just received the jacket and haven't had a chance to ride in it yet. I will say the construction quality is top notch. I'm 6' and 255 lbs. and it took a 3X to get the right fit. I have a 5 year old REV'IT Sirocco jacket in 2X that still fits so if you have a bit of a gut be prepared to go up a size. I like the combination of black and Hi-Vis. Great visibility without looking like a glowing banana. I'll use it on my Harley dresser and my GS Adventure.

This jacket far exceeds all expectations.
I love this jacket! It fits perfectly, it's comfortable, and it's functional. The hi-viz trim is a great safety feature. This is definitely the best jacket I've ever owned, and I've owned many. It fits a bit on the small side, so if you normally wear a size large, you should consider buying an extra-large.

Andrew P: It's the new version of one of the best selling jackets of all time and is made of some of the highest quality materials available.Jun 18, 2014
Kurtis F: Replacing a 6yr old Olympia AST (hi-viz). That jacket was good, but heavy, stuffy, and obnoxiously hi-viz (can be a very good thing) This one seems to have the best reviews for the price, and the Olympia MotoQuest just wasn't doing it for me. If I like it enough, I will be back for the Sand 2 pants.May 30, 2014
Frank W: I wanted a 4 season jacket with good ventilation and I am a very small build. Gear Geek John informed me that Rev'it would be a good fit and function over other brands I had in mind.May 24, 2014
Theodore J: Great jacket, and the visibility can't be beat!Aug 19, 2013
Kurtis F asked:Where is the hydration loop? It's on the jacket in the video, but not on mine (hi-viz), nor can I find it in any of the jackets in pictures. NOT HAPPY. This is one of the many features I liked about the jacket, and without the loop, it's going to be difficult to use a hydration bladder.Jun 4, 2014
ken M:I could not find the hydration loop also on the jacket so this was a bit of a mystery to me. I don't use a hydration pack...yet that is...but if it is advertised as being there I think the manufacturer should have installed one. Maybe RevZilla can comment further on this.
Otherwise, a very nice multi purpose jacket, well made, takes a while to figure out all the various linings but once done this goes smoothly.Jun 5, 2014
