REV'IT! Sand 2 Hi-Vis Jacket

Those looking for a jacket to wear on an around-the-world trip need look no further than the REVIT Sand 2. The already popular Sand jacket has been improved with a bevy of innovative new features. The jacket features adjustable VCS | zippers that increase ventilation by 200 percent over the original—plus, it has a wind-catcher feature integrated into the zipper for even greater airflow. The jacket is compatible with both Leatt® and MOVEO® neck brace systems, the latter of which conveniently stays attached when taking the jacket on and off. The Sand 2 also comes with a connection zipper. This makes it easy to connect the jacket with compatible REV’IT! trousers and eliminates any gap that would allow water to creep in. With the inner membrane removed, the outer shell can be upgraded with a Challenger cooling vest insert. The Sand 2 comes with CE shoulder and elbow protection and integrated reflective panels for nighttime visibility.

    • Outer shell: 52% polyester, 48% polyamide (colour 1500: 64% Polyamide, 36% Polyester)
    • Lining: 67% polyester, 33% polyamide
    • Thermal liner: 99% polyamide, 1% polyester (insulation 100% polyester)
    • Membrane: 100% polyurethane (tricot 100% polyamide)
    • Protection: Prolife® CE protection at shoulders and elbows, fully perforated EVA foam at back, prepared for Seesoft CE-level 2 Back Protector insert - type RV
  • Visibility: laminated reflection at chest, upper arms and back, laminated reflective logo at back, reflective logo at upper arms

Very well made with attention to detail Just received the jacket and haven't had a chance to ride in it yet. I will say the construction quality is top notch. I'm 6' and 255 lbs. and it took a 3X to get the right fit. I have a 5 year old REV'IT Sirocco jacket in 2X that still fits so if you have a bit of a gut be prepared to go up a size. I like the combination of black and Hi-Vis. Great visibility without looking like a glowing banana. I'll use it on my Harley dresser and my GS Adventure. May 13, 2013
This jacket far exceeds all expectations. I love this jacket! It fits perfectly, it's comfortable, and it's functional. The hi-viz trim is a great safety feature. This is definitely the best jacket I've ever owned, and I've owned many. It fits a bit on the small side, so if you normally wear a size large, you should consider buying an extra-large. How To Measure REV'IT! Pants Size

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
