REV'IT! Sand 2 Hi-Viz Jacket
What a fantastic jacket!
This is the best fitting and most comfortable motorcycle jacket I have owned. Clearly one of the best all-season jackets in the market.
My wife really wanted me to get the hi-vis version and I am glad that I took her advice. It is a striking jacket that has a great design and looks fantastic. Looks though are only one attribute. It provides warmth in the colder months and venting / breathability in the warmer months.
I have just ordered the matching pants and look forward to wearing this combo.

Great jacket for smaller frames
I have a European frame – 5’6” roughly 130-135lbs. I tried an Olympia Motoquest jacket, but even a small was really large on me and didn’t fit.
The Sand 2 small fits much better and is borderline on the snug side, which is exactly what you want to keep everything in place. Keep in mind that if you add in the back protector it’s going to eat up another 1.5” or so. General fit and finish are excellent, but it may take some time to tweak all the adjustments to your liking. When layered up with both the inner rain jacket and the thermal liner it’s a very snug fit. I figure I can get away with a good thermal base-layer when it’s really cold out, but probably can’t do any heavy fleece or anything.
I like the Hi-Viz of the jacket and it can easily be seen when riding. The general look of the jacket is nice and aside from the hi-viz it isn’t too flashy.
I already have a mesh jacket so this purchase was for the other season in TX. I’m usually reaching for my mesh jacket when it’s over 80F, but I wanted to see how this jacket did in warmer weather. I’ve ridden a few days when it started off cool (not cold) and then warmed up to over 80+. With the venting open on my Aprilia it does a really nice job of giving me a lot of airflow to keep me comfortable without “ballooning” the jacket. I have not had a chance to try it out in the cold or rain, but that will be coming.
So, a few nit-picky items:
It’s a little tight in or under the armpits – especially when reaching for the clip-ons. If you work out a lot and have large lats, this might cause a problem. It’s not wholly uncomfortable, but it’s one place a little extra material would be nice.
It has a little too much material in the sleeves – there are a lot of adjustments in the sleeves and the set-it-and-forget cuffs are nice, but there is still a bunch of material left over that has to be folded in just right. Even then it is difficult to get my gauntlets on over the cuffs. Initially the sleeves were trying to “push” my gloves off due to being stiff and long, but the jacket is already starting to break in and the material is softening up a bit so this hasn’t been as much of an issue.
Velcro galore! – All the pockets have Velcro closures. This is OK, but I prefer zippers and spring-loaded snaps over Velcro. Velcro wears out faster and a zipper and snaps are a little easier to work with.
Overall I really like the jacket. It’s hard to find a good 3-to-4 season jacket that fits my frame and this one does a very nice job of it while offering great protection and features.

Excellent choice for all type of weather.
I just used my jacket for the first time and loved it. Good protection for the morning cold and an excellent ventilation when the temperature went up. At the peak of the hot weather, I just took out the internal liners and I was fresh as an Usher candy.
The shoulder and elbow protections are so comfortable, you forget you are wearing a protection gear.

Fantastic All Season Jacket
I can't say enough good about this jacket. I mostly ride ADV styled bike that sit me pretty upright. Previously I've had a Hein Gericke (don't remember model) and most recently an Aerostich Falstaff (a waxed cotton version of the Darien). So, I've moved up a generation or two in jacket design. And what a move up it is. I really find no fault in the this jacket. The protection is great in every way. It does take a little while to change configurations, i.e. put in the rain jacket, take out the insulated jacket. But, the versatility it affords is worth the 5 minutes it takes to reconfigure, and it sure beats carrying the extra gear that would be required do all that this jacket does for me. I'm still waiting on my size of the CE back protector to show up in RevZilla's stock list. I ordered the wrong size back protector when I ordered my jacket (read size/type chart carefully). But I returned it for full credit and am waiting for the right size to come into inventory. I would recommend this jacket. It's awesome!

This jacket fits very well, I'm 6'1" and 210lb. It's a very comfortable and highly visible jacket. There is a great deal of pocket storage available and the protection, albeit without the backplate, feels great.
I also own the Sand 2 pants and they look and feel great together. The jacket is year round, but I would not recommend in temperatures in beyond the high 80s. For this, I would recommend a proper summer jacket with better airflow. Having said that, If I had to choose between a summer jacket and the storage, coverage, and wonderful liners that provide insulation during cooler months, I would choose this jacket.

A perfect fit...
I have to admit, I tried this jacket on at a local Rev'it dealer who had my size medium, but not in the hi-vis version. It was the best fitting jacket I'd tried and this specific model had slightly longer arms, which is what I needed. The fit is so good, that I forget I'm wearing it while riding, something I can't say about any jacket I've owned before. The price point isn't low, but it's worth every penny. Waterproof, breathable, two liners. After owning it three weeks, I just picked up the Sand 2 pants as well.

The Rev'it Sand 2 Hi-Viz Jacket is best jacket I have ever owned
I recently purchased Rev'it Sand 2 jacket, Rev'it Airwave overpants, and Rev'it Sand Pro Gloves from Revzilla. These are the best fitting gear I have ever owned. Been riding for 35 years. The Customer Service at Revzilla helped me pick everything so there was no sending back. I called many other online sellers and Revzilla helped me out the whole way. Will be buying again what ever I need from this company. Did a simple vid on my purchases on youtube at "Padre Prepper"

First ADV jacket... Well worth it
This jacket is awesome. I had to get it exchanged due to it not fitting.I'm 6'1 and 205 lbs size XXL. I used this jacket in the winter in 20º weather for a couple of weeks and this jacket sure holds up I could have gone longer but my hands couldn't take it for more then 1 1/2 hrs . I wore it recently in a downpour and I swore that when I got home I was going to be soaked but guess what I was completely dry underneath, the jacket was really soaked. The color is great and the style is nice. The only thing I don't like about it are the big front pockets. I'm curios to see how it will be in the humid NYC summer season.
