REV'IT! Legacy GTX HV Jacket

To meet the demands of the 4-season daily commuter, we've developed a high-visibility version of the Legacy GTX jacket. The LEGACY GTX HV jacket features additional reflection panels and has fabric panels of EN 471 CE-certified neon yellow Polyester 600D at the sleeves, upper torso, and back, to ensure maximum visibility. The technical and safety features are the same as those of the regular version, but the HV version is available in a different size range, from size S to 4XL for maximum HiViz. 

PROTECTION FEATURES

  • Outer shell:  PWR|shell 750D with Teflon® coating, polyester 600D EN471, Cordura® 1000D ribstop with Teflon® coating, PWR|wax 500D, neoprene
  • Insulation:  detachable thermal liner
  • Waterproofing:  GORE-TEX® Performance Shell Z-liner
  • Breathability:  GORE-TEX® Performance Shell Z-liner

COMPOSITION

  • Outer shell: 84% polyamide, 16% polyester
  • Lining: 79% polyester, 21% polyamide
  • Thermal liner: 100% polyamide (insulation 100% polyester)
  • Membrane: 100% Gore-Tex® membrane (ePTFE)
  • Protection:  Prolife® CE protection at shoulders and elbows, fully perforated EVA foam at back, CE prepared for Knox® Advance X CE or Seesoft Back Protector
  • Visibility:  laminated reflection at chest, back and upper arms

ERGONOMIC FEATURES

  • Fit:  tour fit, regular
  • Adjustability:  flexisnap, adjustment straps at waist and upper arms, adjustment tab at under arms and cuffs, adjustment drawcord at hips
  • Ventilation:  VCS I zippers at back, chest and under arms
  • Features:  collar hook, stretch lips at elbows, short connection zipper
  • Pockets:  waterproof stash pockets, hand warmer pockets, inner pockets

Love this Jacket This is replacing another RevIt jacket that I'v had for years. I wanted a gortex shell jacket so I wouldn't have to to stop and up the rain liner in. This coat feels like it is half the weight of my other jacket, but twice as warm. I ordered up a size from past RevIt experience. I don't like full hi-vis jackets, but this one looks outstanding. I reallyy wanted a Klim jacket but this one was close to that class for a whole lot less and it included a liner. With the Klim you pay more and still have to order the liner. Highly recommend. On the expensive side but worth the cost given all of the features and protection. The jacket does run small. Use the Rev it sizing guide and you will be fine. October 30, 2012

Answer: 
Yes, the SAS-TEC back protector in size SC-1/12 can be used instead of the Knox back protector but must be trimmed to fit. This will void the SAS-TEC warranty and expose the cell structure to water saturation but this is a common practice.

Answer: 
The REV'IT! Legacy HV and the Dainese Gator Evo are functionally very comparable products. From a visibility standpoint, the Legacy HV has more HV surface area and more reflective panels. From a design standpoint, the Gator EVO is a superior fit and style. Both are Gore-Tex jackets with non-removable waterproof membranes, indirect venting and a removable thermal liner.

How To Measure REV'IT! Pants Size

SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button)
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
