REV'IT! Horizon Pants

Companion to the Horizon jacket, the Horizon trousers offer 100% waterproofing. Their outer shell is basically allergic to water, repelling its pickup (assuming that you occasionally clean the shell). REV'IT! considers the REVIT Horizon trousers to be the number one choice for daily commuters and serious touring enthusiasts. Without the removable thermoliner in place, it's the most durably waterproof, abrasion-resistant, and multi-functional over-pants you will find. The fit is casual enough to wear over jeans. Airflow comes directly through the side pockets, which also give you straight access to your jeans pockets - in case you need some change for the toll.

I usually wear size 34" and fit in just about anything, this feels like a size 32". I took the LONG option so length was perfect for my 6'1" 190lbs build but it really felt like they were sized like jeans, I could only wear them without the liner or jeans on me. Also ordered the XL jacket (I usually wear Large) and same thing, too small, cant wear it with the warm liner, sleeve length was perfect to my surprised and I have long arms.
The cut and look of this suit is great, but make sure you can try it out in store cause the size charts are way way off. And really consider upgrading the armor, cause really they are pretty useless (thats why the 2 star rating on protection) the rest looks solid.

Outstanding service from Revzilla. The pants provides great protection and a lot of unique features. However, it is not very comfortable to wear, unlike a cheap snow pants. Perhaps that's why we have to sacrifice some comfort for safety...

Overall the product is good, however the air flow through the pants with the thermal out is marginal at best. Pants get very hot when in traffic/stop and go. O.K. when moving. There is a steel waist clip that isn't very durable. Most likely will break soon.

I got the size L and fits perfectly, i'm a person who doesn't like to have the pants to tight, and this size gives a little space. I'm very happy about it.

I ordered these as overpants based on the description, but had two issues.
1. Size is slightly small. I eventually got to a good size XL for e (5'10", 185lb, 36" waist x 30" inseam). However, they fit perfectly over dress slacks only with the liner removed. Liner in, these made for touring pant only (single layer or layer over thermals only).
2. Leg zippers are only up to the upper calf, making them impossible to put the pant on with boots or shoes on.
Still looking for a better pant to suit my commuting needs, but these are nicely built for touring and go well with my new Horizon jacket.

These are true riding pants which are meant to be worn on their own. If you are planning on wearing them as overpants, we would suggest you go one size up from your normal size.

In the video the guy is 34 x 30 and got a size M, but I think is to tight for me so I size up to an L and use it as overpants without layers underneath. But also use it without dress.

I have found trying these on in a store that the Regular length sizes (for taller folk) are sized smaller (tighter, Euro sizing) and probably would not be conducive to wearing over dress pants unless you go up a size or break them in first.

I actually wear a Short length size and have found that these are sized slightly larger. I have worn them with just undergarments and with thermals. Now that these are broken in, I can probably wear my jeans underneath comfortably.

REV'IT! Jackets are European (slim) cut and generally more narrow in the shoulders than other brands. Please take this into account when choosing the appropriate size. Most riders with any body type other than "slim" would need to order one size larger than they typically might wear in other brands, if you are in between sizes, we recommend erring on the larger side. SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
