The Dirt is my second pair of Revit gloves. I have the Phantom GTX too. Both in XL and I find the fit great on both. I have long fingers and did not have the fit issues other reviews have mentioned.
I have been wearing them on nice winter days in the 50*s without being too cold.
As other have said - Revit gloves are the best!

The knuckle protector is a nice feature in a mesh glove. The palm slider is also a really nice feature to see on such a lightweight summer glove. The reflective strip on the gauntlet is also a nice feature for some extra nightime visibility. Overall this glove is probably the most feature packed mesh glove. A great buy for the price. Rev it seems to run a bit short in the fingers. For me this is okay but some it may not be. I'm not going to take anything away from the glove over finger sizing but I did want to mention it.

I know REVIT sizes are tight, and also had a previous pair of REVIT Gloves size XXL which feel right.
For these reason I bought the DIRT model also in XXL (the table suggested size large) and I love it. At first the gloves feel kind of small but when closing the hands on the grips (i mean in driving position), they feel perfect.
Fresh air keep my hands dry and the padding is very comfortable.

Per sizing chart, I came out a Medium, but per reviews, I went for large. The glove fit well, except for the Thumb finger. I cannot extend my thumb to hit the indicator conveniently. So I exchanged it for size XL and now its a size large for all my fingers AND THE THUMB IS STILL SMALL!!!!
My hand is fine because every other glove fits me fine and how on earth can size L & XL have the same thumb size? To me, it shows manufacturing inconsistencies.
No, I do not recommend this product.

The padding on the gloves are very nice. In fact, there is enough padding that I don't feel the vibration from the handlebars as much as I used to. The stitching seems very well made and it looks like they did a very good job with the design of where to put padding too. The velcro was very well thought out because my previous pair of gloves tore apart at the fingers due to the velcro sticking to it. Since Revit kept mesh at the top of the fingers and not the bottom, I haven't had any problems with the fingers getting eaten up by the velcro. My only complaint (just like the other reviewers) is that the fingers are a little short - I don't have long fingers but the pinky on the glove is a little short for me. Every once in a while when I grip my handlebars, my finger pushes up against the glove so I would have to adjust the glove a little to reduce the pressure. Per Revzilla I did order a large since I normally wear a medium. The airflow is decent for a gauntlet-like glove. Of course during the colder months, I will be wishing there wasn't as much airflow. To wrap this up, every function was carefully thought out by Revit but somehow the size fell short but - with that being the only issue, I'll happily accept it.

FIt is usual Revit (small). I have average size hands, a little longer fingers, and I wear a 3xl in these. THey are the same size as my Revit Kelvins if that helps. When will Revit stop making their gloves for elves?!
Any way really like these glove. I was looking for a glove that offered a little more protection than my Rallye 2 glove offers with equal airflow. I found it in the Dirt.
The only problem is that the cut on the leather palm seems to b off. The pinky finer on both gloves seems to be rotated so that when I close my hands on my grips the leather rotates to the outside of the glove and my finger is resting on the stretch fabric instead. Not a huge deal and not uncomfortable but think that this may wear through the fabric prematurely.

As usual great Revit! quality and is a perfect breathing glove for REAL summers in the south. If you have very long fingers, you might want to look elsewhere. Size chart is right on for Revit! Now.

Viewing the comet in store looked like it was made out of spandex or some similar material. I'd expect airflow to be greater than that of a leather glove.

Answer: 
Personally, I never remember the Comets pushing air around my hand the way the Monsters do. If I remember correctly, they don't have the perforations between the fingers like the Monsters, which makes a big difference.

REV'IT! Jackets are European (slim) cut and generally more narrow in the shoulders than other brands. Please take this into account when choosing the appropriate size. Most riders with any body type other than "slim" would need to order one size larger than they typically might wear in other brands, if you are in between sizes, we recommend erring on the larger side. SIZING INSTRUCTIONS

We highly recommend finding a cloth tape measure and taking the time to take these measurements.  REV'IT! sizes will not necessarily correlate with fitment in other brands.

  • Chestwidth: Measure from under/top of armpit cross chest to under/top of other armpit, then across back to first armpit
  • Waist: Measure at the hourglass of your torso, (circumference measured at your belly button
  • Hips: pelvic bone to pelvic bone, the widest part of your hips below the waist
  • Inseam: from crotch to big ankle bone
  • Outseam: from waist to big ankle bone
