Glove ripped after 10 days of use
Bought those gloves in the middle of the summer. 10 day after I started use them (for urban ride to the work only) 1 glove ripped near the velcro, and in 10 days more another glove torn at the exactly same place. It seems like the part of the glove where velcro is attached made from very low quality artificial leather.

The rest of the gloves made very well, including the lining under the tornes, so it's still possible to use the gloves, despite the holes on the outer side.

Do not buy -- construction of cuff at velcro is defective
Loved everything about these gloves -- style, comfort, and everything I wanted. After about 1 month of riding, I noticed exactly most of the other reviewers had complained about: holes forming right below the velcro pad on the cuff, in BOTH gloves. Really unfortunate, and I have to say, until the company corrects this, DO NOT buy them no matter how much you like them.

Comfy gloves
I have a few hundred miles on these gloves now, and can say that the leather breaks in very nicely. I just wanted to add my experiences.

As I mentioned in my other review, I have very square hands (palms are 4"x4" and have a 4" middle finger). The Chevrons in a size L fit my hands very well, except my hands are quite "meaty" as well (11" around the knuckles). This means that i had a pressure point from the stitching on the back of my hand on the thumb side, but that has diminished as the leather has broken in. The gloves are very comfortable now, and really have no complaints about the fit.

In terms of meshing with my other gear, I wear these under the cuffs of my jacket. The temperfoam cuffs mean that I feel like there is substantial padding there, but never a hotspot or pinch point under my jacket.

One additional comment to the review. I forget if it's mentioned in the video, but while there is no palm slider, there is a TPU slider on the outside of the little finger. It's a small additional comfort that my little finger is slightly less likely to catch if I down.

Safe riding!

Great Glove. Rev'It is starting to really make leaps
This glove is a really nice, affordable, breathable and all around great 3 season glove. I work for a dealer so I have access to all sorts of products, so I've been waiting for Rev'It to step it up. This glove definitely takes it in the right direction. Great comfort. I have long fingers and a big palm, so I wear an XXL. Fits perfectly. I think it's more true to size for American style cuts. In any case, offers great protections, and only drawback is now palm or wrist sliders, but that's not what the glove was designed for. If you want the sliders get the Stellar gloves. Those are better for the track but far more expensive.

Buyer be aware, negative ratings, what???
The negative reviews say it all about this product and I should have listened to what they had to say. However, I bought the product anyway. Why? The description by Anthony made me belief that I was purchasing a great product. I should have been more careful, the product looks good on Revzilla's website, however, just like everyone stated the gloves do break at the seems very quickly. I bought the gloves on May 31, 2014, today is June 29, 2014 and yes people, they have already torn at the seems. Now, you are probably asking - how many time have you used the glove and what kind of ridding do you do? Great questions; I ride a sport touring bike and I used the gloves 4 times, before they tore. So as you can plainly read, you need to stay away from this gloves. I am glad that they are not the only pair of gloves I own. So what is next? I will call Revzilla and see if their customer service is as good as they claim on the website. Folks, you can go ahead and make the same mistake that I made and get the gloves, however, I would suggest that you find another pair of gloves that has a better rating from other reviewers. I hope this review is helpful.

Great gloves, but...
These gloves are sharp, well made, buttery soft, but have a few issues:
The right thumb is shorter/the thumb crotch is tighter/too tight, so once you grip the bars it causes two issues, your thumb gets mashed, and it pulls the hard knuckle protection into the wrong place. So, my knuckles sat out of the pockets and left bruises on both hands, not just the one with the extra short thumb, but both thumbs were shorter than should be. The rest of the fingers were fine and they fit fine through the middle of the hand.

If they work for your hands, they might be great, but I'm not sure if I'd get the next size up or a different glove...

Looks and Feels Great
These gloves are extremely comfortable, look fantastic, and feel like they offer a good level of protection. The fit is perfect and flexibility is good.

Some reviewers have complained about the glove ripping at the Velcro, I've just tried to pull from farther inside and haven't had any issues so far.

My hands are happy!
These gloves are great! There really is nothing I can say bad about them except one thing. They do run small! I'm almost always a large in most gloves, but in these I'm an XL. And I have probably normal sized hands, since I'm not a big guy. For reference, my hands measure 8.5" at the palm, which would translate to a large in the size chart. However, unless you like TIGHT gloves, get a size up. I know leather breaks in, but my right thumb in the size large actually started to hurt because it was so tight. Also, for whatever reason, the right hand in both the large, and xlarge I ordered is a touch smaller than the left. It's not a big deal, even nice since your left hand does more moving around with the clutch and stuff, but just something to be aware of. Other than that, I love these! They look awesome, feel awesome, the cuffs fit very well under the cuffs of my Dianese Super Speed textile jacket and don't pop out while riding. I have yet to see what air flow is like in warm temps, but protection is most important to me, so I'm happy either way.

Solid everyday glove
This is a solid glove. I like the style, and after it breaks in, it feels great on my hands. My only complaints are an odd sharp seam on the left outside ridge of my hand, and a soft seam on my right inside thumb.

Solid Gloves
The fit of these gloves is pretty spot on. I looked up the sizing charts and measured my hand around my knuckles. I was just under 9" so i went with the Large. They fit pretty snug, but i like it. I've been wearing them about 3 weeks now and they've started to break in and slide on and off easier. I really like the color schemes. and the sliders on the knuckles and digits are nice. Decent Air flow. Haven't had too many hot days here in Chicago just yet (80's or so) but i dont anticipate any problems.

Could have added a few more features. Palm protection is a little on the thin side. But overall, gloves for the price point.

They appear to be good for VA summers, high protection, good value to price ratio.

Great match for the Rev'It! Galactic jacket that won't be too terribly hot during the spring/summer/fall, yet still provide good street ride level protection.

Very Happy with my purchase, they dont run hot and are thin enough for my heated grips to transfer thru making them a 3.5 season glove. very comfy and eons ahead in seam and material tech than my former gloves by Joe rocket

Hi, was wondering if you would recommend these gloves over the Revit Fly gloves? I am a daily rider who is looking for comfort and safety. Curious to know what you think.
A shopper on Aug 26, 2013
BEST ANSWER: Personally I do not own the Rev'it fly gloves nor do i know any one who does. However i was looking into them when i was in the market for a new pair of gloves. What i can say is Rev'it makes very good quality products and i have experienced this through the chevron glove. Viewing the pictures and video featured on Revzilla i can definitely tell you that the cuff on the fly is more low profile and would slide more easily under a jacket sleeve than the chevron but also offers less protection and padding. For me personally, when i was buying gloves, carbon fiber was a must for me. Not only the styling but the feeling of protection in the event of a crash is very important. Also I'm sure being produced by the same manufacturer the perforation on both gloves is very similar and the Chevron breath very nicely but are not going to let your hands freeze when you start getting into the 50-60 degree riding or early morning riding. As for comfort i can only speak on the side of the chevron. The external stitching is very nice and makes for a nice smooth interior of the glove. The glove does take about a week or two for them to fully break in. (maybe a little less for a daily rider) The pre curve of the fingers is also well done to where it is comfortable yet you still have full longevity of your fingers. The glove is also snug, not as in uncomfortable but in the idea that i know it will remain in place at all time. Overall I feel the Chevron gloves offer a bit more protection in the cuff, fingers and definitely knuckles and you can see that reflected in the price difference of the gloves. I would highly recommend the Chevron gloves to any daily or tour rider due to there quality construction and comfort but I would also feel confident in saying that the fly gloves are also a quality glove for the price. I hope this has helped you and if you have any more questions please ask!
Ride on,
