Nice style and great air flow but a few gripes To start this off, these gloves seem great, but I feel that they could have been better for the price tag - nothing I couldn't get from similarly priced (or lesser priced) astars or other better grade gloves. The fit was weird as well. I have a pair of the H2O Carver gloves made by Rev'It and these fit very differently. I understand they are different style gloves, but the Carvers fit right on the money in XL so I ordered these in XL...the right hand fit well, but the left hand had a super loose thumb and pinky (not so cool that if I hit the turn signal I felt like my gloves were equal to parachute pants for fitment). Revzilla was awesome about an exchange so I went to a L. Now these guys are slightly too small. I really enjoy the style, so I kept them and though they've loosened up over a week or so of riding, they're still on the tighter side. To compare, my first set of gloves were Joe Rockets for $45, they fit perfectly and for the price the quality was awesome, but I wanted something better so I jumped ship when I noticed wear. So, as expected, this tightness really messed up the comfort level but they have gotten better (or maybe I've just become more accustomed to them). However, I am blown away *har har* by how awesome these guys move air. They use a different material for the webbing between the fingers and it really helps cool off the hands, just don't rock them in cold weather. The quality of the stitching, materials used and finishing touches all seem awesome, though. This got Rev'It some points in my book, but the fitment trouble, lack of touch screen fingertips and overall no noticeable difference from gloves that run $30-50 less (just IMO...maybe others think these gloves are extraordinary) they lost some points. I would give them four stars if they provided more of a warranty than 1 year, but for huge wear items like gloves I understand why they don't. January 19, 2015
Very nice gloves... So I had ordered the revit striker gloves. They were of course way too small, actually painful due to fitting so tight. So I returned them. As they didn't have the next size up in the color I needed, I ordered a set of these. These run true to size and are super comfortable when riding. Finger length is good(I have very "normal" size large hands). The knuckle cap is comfortable. The perforated leather flows air well when moving so the gloves aren't hot. The stitching quality seems good on these. I am using caution when pulling these on by the cuff as the synthetic material will rip as demonstrated by others. So, for the money these have great style, decent protection features, and excellent comfort. December 10, 2014
Best gloves I've ever owned. I've only had these for a few days now, but I already love them. They fit my small hands snug, but not uncomfortably snug. The construction and stitching is solid and I have no doubt that they will hold up for many years to come. The solid knuckle and digit protection is a nice offset to the soft palm leather and memory foam. October 9, 2014
Rev'It Chevron Gloves Excellent fit and flows a lot of air. I ordered the white and black ones to match the Rev'It Airwave jacket and pants. I figured for summer wear mine as we'll go with white to help reflect the sun, and I have plenty of black jackets, gloves, etc. I'm happy with the purchase. I ordered the XL for my hand size of 9.5-10. I really like the Rev'It gear. I own or have owned all the brands and bang for the buck goes to Rev'It. I ride a Ducati Monster 900 i.e., a Ducati 916 and am buying a new Indian Scout this winter. September 29, 2014
Breathable and Stylish Above all, this glove breaths extremely well. It is definitely meant for summer/warm weather riding. Protection is pretty good, for a short-cuff. The glove does feel somewhat light (thin) on the top part of the hand, but it's understandable seeing how abrasion will normally occur at the knuckles and palms. Despite that though, it provides a decent padding on the palm and side of the hand. I also like the extra protection they added on the fingers! I did have a problem regarding the construction though. After about a month of commuting, I felt this "poking" on my palm. After inspecting it, it turned out to be a hard rubber that is sandwiched between the leather and the carbon-knuckle. It wasn't a big deal, after trimming it off with an Exacto, comfort felt just a great as the first time I wore it. September 21, 2014
durable and comfortable I bought these as a second pair to alternate and really like them. Very well ventilated with the protection of leather. August 10, 2014
Looks and Feels Great These gloves are extremely comfortable, look fantastic, and feel like they offer a good level of protection. The fit is perfect and flexibility is good. Some reviewers have complained about the glove ripping at the Velcro, I've just tried to pull from farther inside and haven't had any issues so far. July 1, 2014
Buyer be aware, negative ratings, what??? The negative reviews say it all about this product and I should have listened to what they had to say. However, I bought the product anyway. Why? The description by Anthony made me belief that I was purchasing a great product. I should have been more careful, the product looks good on Revzilla's website, however, just like everyone stated the gloves do break at the seems very quickly. I bought the gloves on May 31, 2014, today is June 29, 2014 and yes people, they have already torn at the seems. Now, you are probably asking - how many time have you used the glove and what kind of ridding do you do? Great questions; I ride a sport touring bike and I used the gloves 4 times, before they tore. So as you can plainly read, you need to stay away from this gloves. I am glad that they are not the only pair of gloves I own. So what is next? I will call Revzilla and see if their customer service is as good as they claim on the website. Folks, you can go ahead and make the same mistake that I made and get the gloves, however, I would suggest that you find another pair of gloves that has a better rating from other reviewers. I hope this review is helpful. June 29, 2014

A shopper asked: Hi, was wondering if you would recommend these gloves over the Revit Fly gloves? I am a daily rider who is looking for comfort and safety. Curious to know what you think. Aug 26, 2013

Austin A: Personally I do not own the Rev'it fly gloves nor do i know any one who does. However i was looking into them when i was in the market for a new pair of gloves. What i can say is Rev'it makes very good quality products and i have experienced this through the chevron glove. Viewing the pictures and video featured on Revzilla i can definitely tell you that the cuff on the fly is more low profile and would slide more easily under a jacket sleeve than the chevron but also offers less protection and padding. For me personally, when i was buying gloves, carbon fiber was a must for me. Not only the styling but the feeling of protection in the event of a crash is very important. Also I'm sure being produced by the same manufacturer the perforation on both gloves is very similar and the Chevron breath very nicely but are not going to let your hands freeze when you start getting into the 50-60 degree riding or early morning riding. As for comfort i can only speak on the side of the chevron. The external stitching is very nice and makes for a nice smooth interior of the glove. The glove does take about a week or two for them to fully break in. (maybe a little less for a daily rider) The pre curve of the fingers is also well done to where it is comfortable yet you still have full longevity of your fingers. The glove is also snug, not as in uncomfortable but in the idea that i know it will remain in place at all time. Overall I feel the Chevron gloves offer a bit more protection in the cuff, fingers and definitely knuckles and you can see that reflected in the price difference of the gloves. I would highly recommend the Chevron gloves to any daily or tour rider due to there quality construction and comfort but I would also feel confident in saying that the fly gloves are also a quality glove for the price. I hope this has helped you and if you have any more questions please ask!

Aaron N: REV'IT Chevron versus Fly? Hmmm. I personally prefer the slightly more track-inspired look and boxier fingers of the Chevron but just ever so slightly. The Fly wasn't available when I was shopping for gloves. I would have been asking the same question that you are now if the Fly had been available. Palm-wise, they look to be very similar and I would imagine the fit is very similar. I always wear a mesh jacket and the Chevron gloves can either go under or over the jacket cuff; I prefer over the cuff. I really think you're looking at a preference decision more than which is "better". This brand runs small so order a size larger than you normally would. Even when you have the correct size, they don't feel large enough until they stretch out--especially on your pinky finger. Sep 3, 2013

Christopher M: I have these gloves and wear them every time I ride which is almost daily. They are very comfertable and made very well. Protection wise with all the leather, padding, and hard shell knuckles and fingers, its like having a bullet proof vest on your hands. Fitting the gloves fit snug, but not too tight its a very good feel. The chevron gloves are not completely perferated like the fly gloves are, but there is the mesh between the fingers that let's in a generous amount of air. I have been caught in a heavy down poor and my hands were completely dry, but I never have sweaty hands with these gloves. All in all I would recommend spending the 20 extra dollars on the chevron gloves. Hope this helps you out.

George P: Yes I would recommend these for daily use because they are very comfortable and provide a lot of protection for the price. My problem with the gloves I have I figured is maybe due to a defective pair maybe and I unfortunately got that pair, but regardless they are good gloves I would recommend for daily use. Keep in mind though that you might end up having the same problem with them that I did. Its a risk you have to take with anything though made of leather Aug 27, 2013

William W: I don't have a personal experience with rev'it fly gloves, but the chevron gloves have been okay. They are comfortable and good looking. I just question some of the quality of the leather. Within a month of owning the gloves, the leather on the seam of where the Velcro is started to tear. And shortly after that another small tear began at the thumb seam along the palm of the same glove. But on a high note the other glove is pristine. Aug 27, 2013

Bruce M: Great gloves!!! I've only used them during the summer months so no experience in transitional weather. Ventilation is excellent. Material and workmanship is typical Revit quality which in my experience has been above average. Order a size larger than you normally do as they run a full size small. Aug 27, 2013

Wayne P: Yes i'm very happy with the Chevron glove. Very comfortable, good level of protection. My hand size is about 10 1/4 and the xxl fit like it was custom made for my hand. The Fly glove is also nice, but is a tighter fit in the same size, I keep them as an extra pair. Aug 27, 2013

Geoffrey M: I can't speak to the Fly gloves because I haven't tested them. I chose the Chevrons because of the little extra protection. For summer touring though, I think the Flys look fine. These gloves will fit tightly when you first buy them, but they do stretch a little. Aug 28, 2013

alan k: I have not used the the Revit Fly, but these gloves are my daily gloves and they are very comfortable. I had to trim some extra leather hanging from the seams on the inside to stop it from digging in a bit, but thats all I had to do. Aug 27, 2013

tom c: Would not recommend the Chevron gloves. They never seem to break in. Very uncomfortable, No real stretch panel, puts lots of unwanted pressure on the back of your hand. Dont Buy Aug 28, 2013
