REV'IT! Brera Jacket
Might be a good cold weather option for you
I have a love/hate relationship with this jacket... mostly on the love side. I'm 5'10, 175, pretty skinny guy with long limbs. I saw the 200+ pound model wearing a L, so I got XL. I'm glad I did! A Large would probably have fit me nice and tight, but under 40 degrees I need a hoodie underneath to keep warm. The arms are a little short, which is fine with gauntlets, and the waste is quite short. On the bike these don't matter, wearing it as a casual jacket they matter more.
As for protection, minimum. There is CE in the shoulder and elbows, I think lite is I remember right, and no backpad included althought there is a spot for one. I assume it won't hold up well in a slide. I pulled the back, elbow, and shoulder protection out of a summer jacket and inserted here. Even before the upgrade and despite the one size up, driving the stick-shift cage wasn't comfy. The elbow armor made shifting a pain. Now with the back protector in there, it's not incredibly comfortable, but I can live with it.
So, it's in the $200 price range. Maybe not totally worth the price. On the bike it's warm enough above 40 degrees, under that layer, you'll be fine. Armor is decent, but you'll want to take the 2 minutes to canabalize your summer gear for better. In a slide, I don't know how it would do. As a casual jacket it's a home run. Lots of pockets, very comfortable, looks great. When the weather gets below freezing and I stop commuting on the bike, I'll just pull the armor and it will be a great winter coat. I needed a winter coat anyway, so it fits both purposes decently, but neither extremely well. Still, it fits my purposes good enough.

this is a perfect early fall winter jacket... and it looks great!
I love this jacket. it's slightly large for me. Im 5' 9" about 160. But works perfectly cause I can layer it when it's cold. BTW, buying from Revzilla is really the only way to go. Quick shipping, great customer service and awesome product reviews.

Great looking city jacket at a nice price.
I got this jacket hoping that it can pull double duty as a motorcycle jacket and an everyday cool weather jacket. I believe it has succeeded. Protection against the elements is fantastic, I've ridden in temps in the low 50s with only a t-shirt on underneath and felt fine. As of yet I have not used it in wet weather so I can't comment on the water proof ability.
I realy like the styling of the old school bomber jacket, makes me wonder why more brands don't produce anything in this classic look anymore. There is a small REV'IT logo on the right side close to the waist, its barely noticeable which is fine by me. The two bottom most buttons are coated with some sort of rubber which is nice as I am always paranoid about scratching my tank.
A few small gripes:
The back protector is quite noticeable when it is installed in the back pocket. Not a big deal to me but I could see this bothering some people.
The pull for the zipper that attaches the fur is on the non-furry side, which can make it somewhat difficult to zip it on and keep the fur out of the zipper.
I REALLY wish that it had a removable liner so I could wear it on warmer days.
All in all, a great jacket for scooting around town that will keep you warm and protected without looking like a Power Ranger.

Exactly what I wanted!
The fit was unbelievably correct it was like it was meant for me, I'm 5'9 160lbs and the medium fit me like a charm. Material wise sturdy and keeps me warm and dry, little to no airflow but the cold air outside from my 250r makes up for it. Overall my boys love it and already ordered theirs. You won't regret it, just make sure if your taller then 5'10 I recommend the large because like I said I'm 5'9 and the wrist part fits me PERFECTLY with little to no slack.

Keeps you warm
An interesting take on the bomber jacket. I bought this jacket in March, when it was still fairly cold in NY. This jacket will keep you warm. However it is not something you want to wear if it is not cold outside. It does not have any airflow. I read that it had a removable liner. It does not. The "removable liner" is the faux fur collar, it can be taken off. I always keep it off because I ride with a shemaugh (scarf). I will surely be wearing this jacket again as the weather gets colder.

I really like this jacket, I've used it in the winter more than my Dainese. It's actually less protective than what I'm used to, but the feel/look is nice & blocks wind great. I ride alot with just a long sleeve t-shirt underneath in 30-40 degrees & I'm good to go. I love the fur collar, but it doesn't stay "popped up" like other collars, so when zipping up, I always have to make sure the fur is straight up or it gets hidden underneath, and the jacket won't zip up all the way if I don't adjust the fur.
I'm wearing a black XL & I'm 6'1". It doesn't expose my back, but It's just a touch short "mentally": you know the feeling when you think its riding up. Sometimes that can be a distraction like aggressive riding (highway not streets). The Knox back protector was purchased & made the feel a little tight but def necessary. I really wish they added a small loop on the center bottom of the jacket to just hook to a belt loop on your pants. Maybe I could get that sewed on somewhere?
I'm glad I got it, & the price was right during Black Friday.

Amazing but SMALL
used this as soon as i got it but the fit is very small. i am 6 foot and only 175 lbs but this XL just barely fits. the main issue is jacket length. it is very warm. the fur looks a little odd if you are not riding but does its job well and can come off if necessary. over all very pleased.
