The 1000v2 boot was developed with the help of Grand Prix riders and is a pro-level boot suited for any kind of road racing activity due to it's improved safety components.

Features:
  • Intelligent Safety: The Ghost Doctor protection device has been designed after the medically defined "angles of no return", beyond which you would suffer from ankle injury. It limits the movement range in all four directions and becomes active when the ankle reaches a dangerous angle, making it an intelligent protection device that's only there when you need it
  • Increased Protection: The Exo Low has a 360-degree cockpit construction that wraps under the heal, maximizing stability and increasing lateral impact protection
  • Improved Cushioning: A small cushioning structure is built into the lower portion of the Exo Low to provide verticalimpact protection in the event of a high speed crash
  • Comfort Zones: Additional comfort zone areas in the shin and calf are constructed of mesh and foam padding for that extra snug fit

Puma boots are great. a little heavy if you wear it for regular all day ride.

They are pretty stiff initially, but after breaking them in, they are the best boots ever. Cheaper than the Sidis, but just as protective.

Safe Stylish yet Heavy

I have to say that this boot is more track than daily riding. Cons: One of the biggest for me is the weight of the boot each one is approximately 3.5 pounds which is fairly heavy. The ankle support has to be broken in it can become annoying if u have to walk in them. They fit small so you want to go up at least one size. Boot feels very secure. Definately a head turner. Ive only had the boots for a month so im sure i need more time to break them in. Overall this is a really solid track boot.
