Low profile socket reduces depth needed behind the panel. Short and sweet, this low profile socket kit will install with a clean appearance close to the battery or fuse block. Series 42 and Series 46 socket kits are our most popular power outlet kits. Designed to perform for years of service, these outlet kits can do everything. Power-in for battery charging, no problem. 15 amps out for heated gear, no problem. Designed for a minimal 1.00" clearance behind the panel, the Series 46 kits fit in tight spots.
Nicely sealed & looks OEM
I opted to change out an existing cigarette lighter plug as I noticed it was developing issues related to corrosion. The Powerlet fit the existing hole perfectly. Installation was very easy with everything included that you need. A minor problem was but easily resolved was that one of the leads pulled out from the quick disconnect.

I installed one on every bike that I have owned. It does require an unusual size drill bit, so I went ahead and ordered one. Other than that, very easy to install and looks nice on the bike.

Must have to use a portable electric air pump on a BMW
Good product. Solve the restriction with the standard BMW port that has a low amp delivery. The connector that is used to release the wiring for service is low quality. The OEM quick connector works much better. Durability is a must see in the next few weeks.

Works as expected. Installation simple. A little pricey as is everything from Powerlet, but they've figured out what we need.

Very easy and straight forward to install.
Very easy and straight forward to install. The only trick is to have the appropriate drill and the correct size. I would not use a round saw/drill Powerlet recommends. I bought he Conical step drill and it was a breeze on the plastic material on the BMW.

I actually had to go directly to the powerlet website to make sure I got the right kit to fit my Can-Am Spyder RT, but I'm a repeat customer at Revzilla so I made the purchase here because I have never had issues with any of my orders. This was no exception. Got the power kit and had my dealership install it to run directly to an accessory fuse so that the power is only on when the key is on. I have been using it ever since for my heated gear and what a difference it's made. No more michelan man, and I can ride all the time.
