Powerlet Dual USB Adapter
Bad Fit, Good Function
Didn't fit comfortably on my triumph tiger's handlebar port. It has to be sort of jammed down to the side, but it works and barely budges on long rides so seems very durable. Also, wasn't psyched at the price tag.

Don't wqaste your money
The adapter continually loses connectivity, if I can get any to begin with!

REALLY? is there not a simple, affordable alternative to this?
Look, the adapter works always, until it simply does not work. Always. Find one person that used this and worked for over a year. It simply loses contact and does not send electricity anymore and once it's gone, it's gone. I'm on my fourth set already and the average is 4 months. I'm escalating it this time to Powerlet and at least they will hear from us. Guys at Revzilla please look at the reviews! give us an alternative to European size charger please so we don't have to play these guy's game anymore and can find a better product. This can't be the only game in town. Not to mention THE OVERPRICE that we have to pay because of it.

Got 2 and both failed
After 2 weeks of use one of them stopped working, then days later so did the other one. As usual Revzilla did an amazing job on the returns and have new ones coming. Way too expensive considering how many seem to fail when a $5 cigarette charger can last a lifetime. Kind of stuck using them as have the Powerlet outlets mounted and running all over my bike and they still work. No confidence that the new ones will last as long as they should

Worked for two weeks...
Purchased two weeks ago during a road trip because I wanted to keep my phone juiced up. Today I plug the adapter into the socket and the red light failed to illuminate. I tested the socket and it is certainly live. I contacted Powerlet and requested a return since it is under warranty.

Worked for a bit...
I've had this device for some time now. When I first received it, I had issues connecting it to my 12 Tiger Explorer. It seemed the - leads (looks like a flower petal) didn't have any tensile strength, and were not connecting to the outside of the socket on the bike. As a result, the device wouldn't seat securely and would constantly lose power.
Being an armchair engineer (aren't we all?), I came up with a solution which was to use part of a small rubber band in between the leads and the plastic sheathing on the post which insulates the + leads. This worked brilliantly in providing a secure connection for a grand total of one motorcycling adventure.
After just one use, I find myself unable to get the device to connect to the outlet at all. I have tried new rubber bands, bending the - leads on the device out, bending the leads on socket on the bike in... all to no avail.
My trusty voltmeter shows power from the battery to the leads on the inside of the socket, but no power in the device. I think I will try an SAE style adapter next, no questions on a solid connection with that.

stopped working after 12 months.
I expected the adapter to work for more than 12 months. Started failing intermittently on a 7 day ride. i got it to work by twisting it to pick up different contact points. It failed completely 2 weeks later.

Worked for a less than a minute.
Was looking forward to keeping my phone charged on a recent trip. Bought the dual adapter. Plugged it into the motorcycles Powerlet outlet. The red light came on. The light went out promptly on starting. Failed to charge. Returned to local dealer.
