Powerlet Dual USB Adapter 3 5 11 11
Double USB Powerlet Socket Great product. Works well and highly useful for today's gadgets. November 10, 2015
Does the job. 3" long, could be shorter I think. Price commensurate with quality it seems. Owned it for three months, leave it plugged into my bike at all times. No ill affects yet. Awkward angle for my setup, 2012 KTM 990 ADV R with powerlets on triple clamp. October 26, 2015
I would not recommend this product. The powerlet failed after one day of riding. I had it charging my I phone 6 and noticed that the phone was cycling on and off only to find that the powerlet light was flickering indicating the power to the phone was intermittent. I ride a 2015 BMW R1200 GSA. I would not recommend this product. October 14, 2015
Intermittent power I bought this item from a dealer (not Revzilla) to charge my cell phone and intercom on my 2015 BMW R1200GSAW. Although the build quality appears good and it feels like the adapter snaps into my DIN outlet positively, the adapter does not make a good connection. Further, the red LED is not visible from the riding position due to the odd angle of the adapter combined with the angle of the outlet on the motorcycle so I cannot tell if I am charging our not. Great idea, terrible execution. August 2, 2015
Do not buy unless you like to gamble. Bought it for my 2015 Tiger 800 to power a GPS. I could only get it to power up for a moment if I wiggled it around for a while. Obviously not a good thing. Sorry this is made in the USA. I guess from the reviews it's hit or miss. P.S. Wrong bike as my ride. July 20, 2015
Worked for a while.... Then it caught fire and burned up. Had to throw it away since I was going down the road. A waste of money. July 19, 2015
Good Item if it fits correctly on your bikes setup Build of the product is great. But it did not fit in either of my two powerlet outlets firmly or made contact properly for the power to start flowing. Had to wiggle the connector to get it to work which will not work during a ride, so I am going to have to return this. May 20, 2015
Mini power farkles FTW Great charger, snaps in solidly to my 1996 BMW's power port and keeps my phone charged while running my nav and music apps. It doesn't interfere with the dash rocker switches or the handlebar. The LED is always on, but the current drain is negligible and looks like a security warning, so that's cool. May 11, 2015

Fahad A: I tried this recently on my 1200GS WC. I have two powerlet outlets on my bike, one factory fitted for the GPS and second one under the seat installed by the dealership. This Adapter was loose in both powerlets and required some wiggling to make the contacts for it to work. With all the vibration during the ride this would have never worked for me. Both powerlet outlets on the bikes were never used before so it was kind of strange this adapter behaved this way. May 20, 2015

jose luis h asked: Is anyone having trouble charging a Samsung Galaxy S5 or newer phone? I have tried different USB cables and can't get it to charge. I have no issues charging other devices, even my older Galaxy S3, Garmin GPS and others. It's just the S5 that does not charge from the Powerlet for some reason. Could it be the pin configuration?

Edward D: Don't know about the Samsung, but my Powerlet adapter has no trouble with my iPhone 6. Have you tried both USB connectors, I think they have different outputs. Jan 10, 2015

jose luis h: Thanks. I did try both connectors & no luck. Also tried two different cables "specifically made (OEM)" for the S5. If I can't find an alternative I might just hardwire a charger for the phone while I'm installing the wiring for the GPS at the same time. Jan 10, 2015
Ron G W: My experience has been that with charging both my Galaxy 5 & my NEW Note 4 that the charging power is not enough to supply more than what the phone is using if I am actually running apps like GPS or MUSIC. It will maintain the battery where it is when I plug it in so I always make sure that I start with a full charge at the start of my ride. Both of those phones really rely on the charge from 110 volts in the wall. Even my car charger / cigarette lighter will only maintain the charge if I am using the GPS...
Hope this helps

jose luis h: Turns out it's a very slooooow charge, and only if the phone is turned off. I think I'm better off carrying a spare battery for the phone. Jan 10, 2015
