Powerlet Cigarette Socket Battery Leads Standard Duty 10 Amp
Works exactly as advertised just wish the leads from the battery were a little longer.

12v socket connection
I currently ride a Monster 696, which has a battery that is a pain to access. As SOP, the dealer had installed a pigtail for a trickle charger from the battery and run to the left side of the tank near the handlebars. I used the 12v socket and zip tied it to the frame near this pigtail, plugged into the pigtail and used a phone charger I already had to my phone (mounted on bar with RAM mount).
Works well, though the socket is a little loose in that the charger male end can lose connection with vibration. Happened a couple times my first ride. A rubber band cured that and all is well.

Solid, built well power supply for accessories
I have the 48" model running from the battery to my handlebars on my 2013 Suzuki DL650 V-Strom. I charge my GoPro and phone from it. Very well built and I love the numerous optional accessories that integrate directly with it!

Works great with iPhone 5s, Honda CB500F
Using this as a charger for my iPhone 5s. The installation was quick and easy, and the quality seems very solid. Definitely recommend getting the 48" version if you are trying to push the wire toward your handle bars.
My entire set-up looks as follows (all components sold here on RevZilla except for USB-Phone cable):
- Powerlet Cigarette Socket Battery Leads Standard Duty 10 Amp
- Battery tender USB charger
- RAM Mounts Universal Cell Phone Holder Kit
- USB lightning cable
Advice for Apple iPhone 5c and 5s users: apparently, Amazon sells their own branded Apple-certified cables for cheaper. I got the 4-inch version in black that connects to my phone without any unwanted cable mess. $13, delivery included.

This is an excellent product and a must have if you go on long rides. Quality is good and installation is a breeze. I suggest ordering the 48" if you plan on routing the wire to the handlebar. The other one would have been way too short for my bike(Yamaha FZ8). But, I suppose that will depend on what bike you have. Overall initial impressions are awesome. I will have to see about durability down the road after some usage but I think it will hold up pretty well. If your looking for a simple setup to charge your electronics via a cig socket then look no further!

Must for long rides
If you use your phone for GPS music or you just won't be near a charger on your ride you need this. I use it with my steering stem ram mount and the set up is awesome. Now when I ge where I'm going my phone is still fully charged.

Extra power adds flexibility and safety
One of my biggest concerns while riding is losing contact with my family due to my phone battery life being sub par. The Powerlet now allows me to change while riding and never have that worry again. I can still check in during stops on the motorcycle and keep an eye on changing weather without trying to decide the best way to conserve my battery life. Install took all of 10 minutes and has been an extra convenience I wish I had gotten earlier. Great buy!
