Great Stand This stand makes working on the rear of the bike much easier. The metal is thick and sturdy and the wheels seem to be of good quality. It's a little bit on the expensive side, but the SS design means you really only ever need to buy one for most any bike. I am satisfied with the product for the price. February 17, 2015
Solid as a rock Pit Bull stands are the best. Really well made and easily adjustable. The removable handle adds to its flexibility. February 16, 2015
Feels Solid/easy to use So far I've only used the stand once to see how difficult it would be to get my Ninja 300 on by myself. It was much easier than most of the reviews led me to believe. It could be because the bike is relatively light, but this was my first time using a stand so it must be pretty easy for anybody who uses one frequently. Again, I've only used it once so far but the stand feels solid and the bike feels very stable while propped up. February 9, 2015
Works like a charm for an SV650S (K04) Great stand. Well built and couldn't be easier to use. If you're not used to using stand with a rear-facing handle it's a little tricky at first to balance the bike from the rear with one hand while locating the spools with the other, but you get the hang of it very quickly. Recommended. February 2, 2015
Great lifetime product! I love this stand. You can see and feel the quality. Yeah there are cheaper options but it is so much more enjoyable working on your bike when you have good tools. I have already used this way more than I thought I would. Have the front also. Glad I own it will likely have it for many years. January 23, 2015
Very Satisfied The stand is pretty easy to use. Keeps my bike incredibly stable. It's fairly easy to use, but it takes a while to get used to holding your bike up right from the tail when getting the bike up on the stand. I can see where someone who isn't physically strong might want to go for a different Pit Bull stand. January 19, 2015
Excellent quality - but you may end up with a face full of 2-stroke! Bought this for a 1986 Suzuki RG500 Gamma. Works perfectly. Being a two stroke, I do get a face full of exhaust if I start the bike on the stand and then remove it with the bike running lol. The Suzuki does have a side stand that automatically retracts as soon as the bike is held upright. So removing the paddock stand needs a firm hand on the rear seat to stop bike falling over. January 5, 2015
Solid and easy to adjust This is a really nice stand. The spools on my bike a pretty wide set, but this stand can be set with the spool pickups ip to 14 3/4" apart. Super easy to switch the setup for a bike without spools. Solid and well built product. December 15, 2014

Kevin B: I've heard good things about these stands, so figured I would purchase them instead of going with another brand. Other brands seem to have mixed reviews, and lots of threads I read people went through multiple stands before paying more for these ones and recommended just spending more money on these upfront and not more in the long run because other stands fail or break. So I did just that. Jul 5, 2014
Richard B: I like that it's hybrid and that the handle is removable. My garage is pretty active with people walking around so not worrying about tripping over things is good. Jul 3, 2014
Lawrence P: Pitbull makes long lasting durable products. I don't trust a brand that can't brag about how durable and sturdy their product is. I don't have a problem paying for quality. I know this is the last rear stand I'll have to buy. The only con I can forsee is for the standard lift option (non-spool) uses rubber pads which don't stay in place and I've seen them decay on other pitbull stands. I can probably glue them down again because once you lift a bike a few times they come loose. Jun 30, 2014
Joe G: Pit Bull's reputation for quality along with many positive reviews. Jun 25, 2014
Scott D: To do maintaince myself, it will save me money in the long run. Jun 19, 2014

jeff w: i think these are the best sport bike stands on the market.... Jun 3, 2014
Darin W: Will fit multiple bikes, high quality product with great reviews May 30, 2014
Rachel M: After spending a few hours researching which stand would be best for my bike ('13 CBR500R) and my needs, I decided the Pit Bull SS was my best bet. I don't want to have to worry about whether the stand I buy is going to last or if I'm going to have trouble using it, and it's good to know that this one lifts bikes with or without the spools... so if I buy a new bike in the next year or so, I can still use the same stand! May 18, 2014
A s: I have read and seen nothing but solid reviews about a basic but well made product. Go with the best brand for the best results May 16, 2014
Brian V: The great reviews put it in good standing (HA!!!). Plus, no 'convenient' way to add spools to 2013 Honda CBR500R... Why Honda, why??? May 10, 2014
Shawn G: High build quality as well as high customer satisfaction post purchase. May 2, 2014
Michael D: Simply the best, THE bike stand - period. Apr 19, 2014

Daniel S: Hi Mateo G. I'm Pretty Sure This Stand Will Work On Your R6. Spool Sizes Will Vary Among Brands I Do Know That. The Spool Size For My CBR Is Different Than On The R6 But The Stand Is Very Versatile And It's Meant To Work On A Myriad Of Bikes. To Be Absolutely Sure Contact The Reps @ Revzilla. They're Awesome And Are Always Willing To help. You Can Also Contact Pit Bull Directly. I Will Say It Is A Great Stand. One Of The Best If Not The Best Out There. Good Luck Jun 14, 2014

Tanner C: Yes! this stand is fantastic and I have used it on R6's, Cb750s, My old Rc8, R1's and even a sportster. The adjustable sides allow a universal fit. Spend the extra money for the axle holder and removable handle as they come in handy.

As in the picture, and any other pitbull items, get the hybrids or most universal stand they make and you will be happy for years to come on almost any bike.

Jose A: I added spools to my 2012 CBR1000RR & my bulldog stand works great
Very stable
Look at spools that will fit on your bike & you should be fine. You need the spools to be attached to the bike for the stand to work
Kind regards

Noah A: Yes it should because it has rubber pads to support the swingarm if you don't have any spools on your bike and it's width adjustable, so it should be able to fit all bikes. Jun 13, 2014

Matthew S: Define swivels? Everything pictured comes with the stand. (Also word to the wise, Don't drag any party of the stand across the ground. Always use the wheels) Apr 21, 2014

Timothy M: Not sure what u mean by swivels. If you are referring to the spools for the bike.... Not it does not as diff bikes use diff sized spools. Apr 12, 2014

A shopper asked: I have a 2012 Kawasaki ZX6R and since winter and rainy season is almost here. Im wondering if this Pit Bull SS Rear Stand will work on my bike? Oct 29, 2013
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Scott S: If you have spools on your bike, it will work. If you don't have spools, it will almost certainly work.

The stand feels a little more solid when used with spools; the spools drop into V shaped cutouts on the stand, and there's no danger of them slipping off, like can happen with the standard pads (if you don't follow the directions correctly).

I've not confirmed with your specific bike, but most Kawi's use 10mm spools; there should be several sets available here on the 'Zilla that will work.

Nicolas L: This stand will work with your ZX6R: you have to option to either buy swingarm spools that fit your bike (Kawasaki is typically 10mm thread size), or to use the standard stand mode on the SS stand.

When you do end up putting your bike on the stand, I recommend having someone help you hold the bike to make sure it doesn't tip over until you get a good feel for how to use the stand.

Daniel S: The Pitbull website states that the stand fits virtually all sport bikes. If you have any questions try calling them directly before placing your order. Their direct number is 877-533-1977 or 256-533-1977. Hope this helps. Good luck Oct 29, 2013

Bradly M: It works really well. You need to get the spools for the rear and if you have the stock exhaust you can't use the right side spool while riding because it will make contact with the exhaust. Oct 29, 2013
Reply to Bradly Good answer? Yes (0) No (0)
Michael F: It should. I have a 2012 CBR 250R and that's a lot more narrow than yours. The stand is adjustable and works with or without spools, so you should have no problems. Oct 29, 2013
