Nolan N-Com B4 Bluetooth Kit for N104 Helmets
The N-Com B4 is the revolutionary new N-Com® communication system, specifically designed for the N104 helmet. The innovative installation system mounts between the helmet shell and EPS liner by simply releasing the shell sealing edge and inserting the n-com® B4. Traveling by motorbike is now all the more pleasant: with B4 it is possible to communicate with 4 motorbikes up to 500 meters (in open terrain, with no obstacles), listen to the integrated FM radio, and set up the system easily with your PC from home.
General Features:
- Management from PC via micro USB wire (included). N-Com Wizard program downloadable from the Download section. Adjustment of audio parameters, firmware update, FM radio stations pre-setting.
- FM radio integrated with RDS: Search for radio stations, 6 pre-settings
- Telephone via Bluetooth: answering, hanging up, voice commands, redialing the last number (for telephones that allow it), intercom/phone automatic management
- Automatic exclusion of intercom and of the connected audio source during a telephone conversation. Automatic reconnection at the end of the phone call
- "Conference Call" function: 3-way telephone call between Pilot, Passenger and caller
- "Pilot/Passenger" intercom via Bluetooth
- BIKE-TO-BIKE intercom via Bluetooth up to 800 meters (in open field, with no obstacles)
- Intercom 4 bikes: one-to-one communication. "Bike to Bike Call" Function
- Bluetooth connection to A2DP Mp3 players: Play, Pause, Stop, Skip directly from the helmet (AVRCP profile)
- Connection via Bluetooth to compatible satellite navigators: directions, MP3 music, mobile phone (for models that allow it)
- "GPS Conference" function: "Pilot/Passenger" intercom active while the GPS is giving instructions

Installs flawlessly in the helmet. Form, fit and function appears exactly as promised; paired with my cell phone effortlessly. So new I haven't had a chance to try comms to the passenger or another bike, but so far it does everything as advertised. I gave it a 4-star because the Nolan site software you download to program the system is difficult; not intuitive, poor instructions and way behind the state of the art. But it works, eventually, and the hardware actually works very well. Sound quality is good, FM radio reception good, ease of use (discounting the lousy download software) also good. I'm happy with the N-104 helmet and comms system combo; appears the equal of my buddy's Shuberth at 2/3 the price.

Easy to install and operate. A must have with the N-104. Excellent FM reception and easier interfaces with other Bluetooth devices such as iPad, iPod, GPS and cell phone. Highly recommended.

Used it for about two weeks. Battery life about 8hrs so far (still under evaluation) Sound quality is very good. Backwards compatible with previous version of N-com. Took about 6 mins to install. Pairing process took less than 20 secs. The helmet and N-com B4 is 700.00 less than the Shuberth system.
