ligth and nice helmet, but poor quality
The helmet is nice and light. But for its value, should be of better quality, for example the face shield does not have a good seal and with few and gently used, the logo is detachment

Purchased this helmet after a lot of research. Coming from a half helmet I have to say this one is awsome!!! The style is perfect with leather wrap and the weight is very comparable to my carbon fiber half helmet. I would say this one is lighter. The helmet is very comfortable to wear and the air flow and noise level is nice. Would purchase again and would recommend this helmet to those looking. Comes with the pin lock system so that is one less thing to purchase. The Revzilla customer service is AWSOME I must add. Thanks guys.

Great, but give it a few years.
Ok, I've had mine for just a couple of weeks. I'll start with the pros first.
Extremely light and comfortable.
Great style! You'll get a lot of looks and compliments for sure.
Customer service is slightly slow and takes more of a shotgun approach to fixing things but really friendly.
Durability, two screws fell out of the "Carbon" windows and the threads that are in the carbon fiber ended up missing. When I was going to send it back to Nexx for service, I found that the bottom seam wasn't even attached and was falling off. At this point I got fed up with it and decided to just send it back for a return. Too much trouble for the money, but if you're willing to pay the money and wait till Nexx sorts out the issues with your helmet, then it would be highly recommended. But in reality, just wait a couple years till they work out the kinks.

A new standard in helmets
I think that Nexx's Diablo is a new standard in helmet technology. Its quiet, has an efficient air circulation and a wide vision area. I don't see any logic in going to upper price scale helmets (Arai etc...) when Nexx practically gives everything necessary at a very competitive price.

Looks very unique
Looks great. Size is a little smaller than expected. It fits a little more snug than other helmets. Its light considering the leather covering etc. Over all its a good buy.

A shopper asked:Hello, apparently I am an oval shape as I had to go with an HJC modular for a new helmet. In one summer it's falling apart somewhat and like the Nexx look and especially wide field of vision. I am a double x or triple in some hjc models. Do you think I have any shot at this model being a fit as I want a solid much better full face helmet? Thanks and it would be ironic if I got a Diablo for a Diavel!Sep 20, 2013
Thomas T:I wear XL in all my helmets, this model included. It fits snug which is what I want. The comfort is highest of my helmets, road or snow. Next to carbon fiber snow helmet by skidoo. The lightness is critical as I have chronic neck issues and that was preventing me from riding, this has substantially reduced neck pain after a ride. In colorado a relatively dry climate it does fog so I often ride with it cracked slightly. I have not ordered the mirror or smoke glass but believe if you ride in the day time much it is mandatory, the larger view heats up. The bright orange can be seen for a long way.Sep 20, 2013
Hey Thomas. What brands are your other helmets? Im looking to buy this helmet. I got Arai RX7GP Size XL and Shoei Raid 2 size XL and as well a Shoei bloodflow XL. How does this helmet relate to others in size? Thanks in advance!

Ryan W:I've never had or used any HJC helmets so it's a little hard to comment on sizing, but from my experience with the XR1R, it is a little loose fitting, even with the extra pad inserts provided. That may just be my personal issue however.
You might just want to go one size down for it to be snug, especially after the padding starts breaking in. I still keep this as a backup helmet, but I picked up an Arai Vector 2 that fits me much better. Just remember you can return it if it's not quite right, just don't go out riding with it before you decide to keep/reutrn it like it did.Oct 8, 2013
Antony S:I'm oval too. I find this helmet to be not only comfortable by slightly more sound proof than my other helmets. It's a well constructed helmet. You'll love it. Just remember its leather coated and that takes some extra care. Enjoy. Sep 22, 2013
A w:Yes, I think so. The many foam pads that come with the XR make it very adaptable. Make sure you get a model with the latest visor clip/screw system. I had to have an updated part sent to me. Love the helmet, though!Sep 20, 2013
Panhndl:My medium Diablo weighed about 1340. It was a little more than 200 grams lighter than my Schuberth C3 which is advertised at 1560 I think. Those 200 grams make a huge difference when there is no wind screen. I can't comment on how much difference it would make behind a full screen.Oct 1, 2012
FishPilot28:Yes. When I first got it, rain poured on me on my ride home. I've had zero issues with water penetrating inside the helmet and it didn't even get into the seams. So I'd say its completely waterproof when you ride. I also asked Nexx about this and they said the same thing. Hope this helps!Nov 3, 2012
Kindred86:I would say yes, it?梯s as resistant as any other leather material, may it be on a vest or jacket. I easily wipe away any moisture off of it. Also keeping the upper and lower air vents help too.Nov 19, 2012
