Nelson Rigg CL-905 Sport Touring Saddlebags
Look nice, but do not fit my bike.
I was quite excited when I got these for my Yamaha fz-07 only to find that there was no good way to mount these to my bike. The straps across the top were very difficult to get underneath the back seat, and no matter what I tried I could not get the bags to sit away from the rear wheel. It looks like I'll have to buy some racks to keep them off the wheel (I really didn't want to have to mount anything extra to my bike) it's also good to note that these are not waterproof. Based on the fact that they are absolutely useless until I purchase other parts to install them I don't recommend these, unless you know they will fit.

Great Style, easy on and off
I bought these to use on my 08 gsx650F and they have been great. Although I would prefer they be waterproof the covers seem to work just fine. I can easily pack enough clothes to last 3 days without a problem along with my rain gear. I will be adding some compression bags for longer duration trips. The piping on the bags is highly reflective which is also nice. The only strange thing I would say about the bags are that people will tell you they are on backwards, because they surely do look like they would be more aerodynamic in the opposite direction. But then you wouldn't have easy access to the pockets I use as drink holders.

David B: i chose these bags for doing a little traveling...they carry a decent amount of things and have the added benefit of being stylish and not quite as costly as other saddle bags of this styleNov 21, 2014
Matthew T: fit the kid's bike. quality less than hoped for: ripped a seam after two weeks useOct 7, 2014
S P:I was wondering the same thing so I contacted Nelson Rigg:
The CL-905 do not come with "stiffners" which help the bags keep their shape The CL-905 does not come with shoulder straps that attach for easy carrying of the bags The CL-905 does not have the outside pockets The CL-905 lining is a nylon lining whereas the CL-950 is lined in a tricot fabric
The bags are the same size & shape. The CL-905 is just more of a "standard" bag without all the bells and whistles that the CL-950 bags have.Feb 12, 2014
