great pack on and off the bike first of all, I'm about 5'11" 150lbs, and the way this pack(as well as most klim gear) is made, I have the shoulder straps to their tightest position and wouldn't mind an extra half inch or so for when I don't have my riding jacket on. that being said, i really like this pack, the fact that it came with the water bladder and has the volume that it does made it a great buy. Its comfortable with good back support and sternum and waste straps. I always have it while riding and it makes a pretty good day pack for hiking. The shovel pocket and tool kit are really appreciated, i was able to fit all tools but my hand pump in it. It has been very versatile and has taken a bit of a beating without any problems. choose Klim. October 26, 2015
Need a week long pack? Your search is over I recently returned from a 1400 mile on my FZ8, went for a fun little cruise along the shores of Lake Superior. I rode through everything from 90 degree heat to 50 degrees and rain. This pack was FANTASTIC! Before I purchased the pack I messaged Klim Customer service for some dimensions on capacity. I love Klim products, and own a few other items. I feel that it's good to note capacity if you're after a pack for a specific purpose like me. The 3L's of water is in a separate rear compartment, that actually makes the water mold slightly to your back, so it's not bulky and uncomfortable. The hose quick releases from the bag so you don't need to constantly reroute the hose every time you refill. The top of the bag opens wide, and you can drop in a liter of water on the go in just a few seconds. The hose had a better nozzle than a camel pack, and didn't leak all over the place, like a CP usually does. The bag also flips inside out for easy cleaning. The bags overall storage capacity is broken up into 3 compartments and a goggle storage. In the main compartment I was able to fit two pairs of Carhartts, 3 shirts, a dress shirt, a pair of shorts, and my daily vitamins, there was still room for easily another pair of pants and shirt. The mid compartment had a 5 day supply of skippies and socks. The front compartment held all my phone cords, a flashlight, tablet, and toiletries. The goggle pouch held a pair of Oakleys in their hard case, and my spare glasses. I even managed to throw a pair of flip flops by the tool bag and secure them in for my time at the beach. Excellent bag, I will be multi-purposing this bag, so I can't wait to see how well it works on the sled. August 29, 2015
Perfect Moto/Photo Pack I needed a pack that allowed me to securely carry my Sony a6000 and Zeiss 16-70mm lens, plus other gear. Finally, after looking at BH, Zappos, REI, etc. I found it here! Duh, should have started my search at Revzilla. Could not be happier with my purchase! April 27, 2015
Great Pack but Small This pack has great features like the tool bag, shovel compartment, pole attachment and the water reservoir. Pack is made of durable KLIM material so you know if holds up. Did a 500 mile Dual Sport trip on it and had no complaints with comfort and durability. Multiple pockets to store your things like goggle section, the material is nice and soft and wont scratch the lens. There is a perfect compartment on the waist strap for your wallet and is easily accessible. Helps when filling up for gas on long trips. My only complaint is the actual stuff sack is smaller than anticipated. I wanted this pack to hold my water, some tools and a weekends worth of clothes and a pair of sandals. I have a hard time just stuffing one nights work of clothes. Overal, the pack is great if you dont plan on putting to many things in the main stuff sack. Everything else is great. December 18, 2014
Better than advertised! I have been riding with a standard backpack and after using this backpack what a difference. Airflow is fantastic and features are great. Plenty of room and mini storage pockets. This was definately designed by someone that rides. Best part is it fits great over my riding jacket like a glove.. Well worth the money. Only drawback is it doesn't come with a waterproof cover. Great bag though. July 21, 2014
Dual sport riders must have! I bought this specifically to replace my Camelback, which was still nice to use.....but this is even better! I'm able to carry a lot of stuff that I use to carry on my bike; tools, tube, air compressor, medical pack, and a few other items w/o getting too heavy. You just need to keep in mind of what you'd rather carry ON you......instead of your bike in case you ever get seperated from it. May 26, 2014
Stylish Backpack The backpack is great, fits good and has a lot of adjustments to make sure it fits, across the chest over the arm. Lots of storage, haven't used the water tube yet put it looks functional and easy to use. A bit expensive but well made. September 11, 2012
Solid Pack with Many Uses Pros: - 3-liter fluid capacity with the best fill up design - Nice tool pouch - Fairly low profile, doesn't flap around on bike - Seems well-made - Comfortable and adjustable, forgot it was there - Can actually feel air moving across my back through the air channels - Roomy with lots of pockets - Multipurpose - great for the motorcycle, snowboard, bicycle and hiking. Cons - No helmet sling - Wish the mouthpiece to the hydropack could zip away completely out of site to keep it clean from bug impacts, mud and dirt. - Would like for the main pouch to be waterproof. RevZilla Store asked: Why did you choose this?
Michael G: Great construction and utility Nov 5, 2015
Michael A: It was the bag that I wanted and after the ease of use and the lightening quick delivery of my last purchase I am now loyal to your site unless you don't have what I'm looking for of course. I meant to mention on my prior purchase that your videos are great and helpful with letting us know what we are buying. Thanks Dec 8, 2014
Greg D: I've had excellent experience with other Klim products and the reviews appear very good. Aug 25, 2014
Kristian P: Nice to have on a motorcycle trip Jun 29, 2014
Charles A: Good quality construction. Could do with a cell phone holder of some sort and padding on the bottom where the laptop goes. I dropped the bag with my laptop inside and it cracked my case and deformed my shell. On one of the side pocket it has a hole at the bottom so if you are not paying attention you can lose items placed there. The otherside the bottom is covered. Strange. An easy access pouch for passports would be good and the wallet holder on the waist strap could be 10-15% larger. Dec 31, 2013
Jacob J: is good in all weathers, plenty of pockets, good to clean it, you can get three two-liter plastic soda bottles in it (for gasoline) Dec 2, 2013
Taro S: I bought one of these back packs for my bike a few weeks back but started using it as a grip at work. The pockets are practical, convenient, fit a lot of stuff and I'm getting a lot of use out it...so far, so good. Aug 25, 2013
Clint S: Great pack for riding, camping, flying, hiking......ect. ect. Aug 23, 2013
A shopper asked: I was just curious if this pack is waterproof or if it has waterproof compartments? Sep 10, 2015

A N: No. It is not waterproof.
In fact the bag ripped within a month of using it.
Ripped on both sides near the top. The fabric
ripped not the zipper seam.
Bag is nicely designed but very poorly constructed.
I recommend buying a different brand.

Kale B: Yes. I can fit a 17in laptop in the largest compartment with room to spare. Jan 27, 2014

Taro S: I have a small and 2 medium size Klim Krew Pak. The medium (which is the one purchased on revzilla) will definitely fit a laptop with room some room to spare.

I'm a railroad worker and I use one of my medium sized Krew Paks to haul various supplies that I need on the job - timetables, a portable radio, rain coat, pens, etc. It's always packed full, it gets tossed about and it's holding up very well.

The other medium size one is for the motorcycle. It works well for quick grocery runs, work outs, day trips.

The small Krew Pak will easily fit my 13" MacBook Air with a little extra room for a few smaller miscellaneous items. I can also squeeze in my 15" PC laptop - It's snug but zips up easily. I prefer it when I only need to carry a few smaller items.

It's a well designed pack and (so far) very sturdy. The bladder is easily removed if you're not using it.

Fernando R: Yes, it does. I have used it for a while for this very purpose. As a matter of fact, I have carried two for some time: a 17" Mac book pro, and a 15". I did put some padding at the bottom from an old laptop bag, so that it is not sitting at the bottom if I drop the bag on the floor. Jan 27, 2014

A s: You can fit an old vcr in there! I stow my 15" laptop in the middle compartment actually. If you have any reservations about this pack, don't! It's simply the best pack I've ever owned. Perfect for anything from a quick trip to the store, a weekend trip and even a nice long hike. Jan 27, 2014

Clint S: It will definitely fit atleast a 15" laptop as that's what I have and I wouldn't see a 17" being a problem, however it does not have a dedicated laptop pouch or any other pouch inside of the large compartment. Feb 23, 2014

Rami S asked: How heavy is the bag?
Also, I plan to use it with normal Urban Riding/Touring. Is it something I can use for hiking as well?

James A: This bag is moderate in weight and seems to be well constructed. I packed it pretty full and ran 350 miles off road in baja.
I also use it for basic hiking and it's served me well. Although it's a little pricier than Jansport or North Face for similar products I have no regrets.

Larry D: The Klim Krew Pack is about 3.8 lbs, including the separate tool pack and empty hydration bladder. It's the best pack I've ever used for riding, mostly off-road but I have used in on-road as well. It's very comfortable to wear, and although it notice the weight of my loaded pack when I pick it off of the ground to put on, I really don't notice the weight once I have it on my back. I usually use it over armor, but it's very comfortable to wear with or without armor. A lot of my riding is off-road in Baja, and I keep it pretty full of tools, tubes, spare gloves, goggles, zipties, first-aid kit, etc. The various pockets are well laid out, and includes a neat fleece-lined pocket for items you don't want to scratch. I swapped out the bladder for a regular camel-back bladder just because I'm more used to it, but the OEM bladder was just fine. It' very durable.

I think it would work great for hiking as well, but I have not used it for that purpose.

Kyle M: The bag itself isn't heavy at all. I wear it full of tools, water, etc. for my enduro trips and it doesn't bother me. It's a great bag with lots of storage and I think it would be a good hiking bag if you went for a longer hike. Overall, completely happy with it and KLIM gear is superior. I think you'll be happy with the purchase. May 3, 2015
