For those very cold days. This is a must have. Like everything from Klim this is very well made.

Great product... only one complaint
Anyone in my situation will really appreciate this: My head size is between two sizes, between M and L in my case and I'm closer to the M than L so I went with M. Because it's fairly snug I'm even forced to cut my hair short to fit inside the helmet... let alone fit a balaclava inside it one would think. Well... due to some wizardry this Klim balaclava fits perfectly. I'm still very impressed after using it for several months now.
As far as its intended features of blocking the wind and moisture wicking it does both perfectly. The coldest I've ridden with it, which is not super cold, is 12F with a wind chill in single digits and I'm perfectly comfortable for my 40 minutes commute.
Definitely recommended for cold weather. My only complaint is the neck bib? part. It's a little too small to tuck in my jacket collar cleanly so everything just bunches at the helmet strap. I could see that being an issue if I were riding with it for long duration. Also, I have had it happen couple of times where the bunching in the neck leaves some exposed skin and that is no fun on the highway where it's a chore to try to stop by the side of the road to fix the issue with cold fingers. That's the only problem though and I can live with it.

Could be better for price not bad.
Bought this along with the H20 Gloves in October for winter riding in upstate NY. While I absolutely love the gloves and would recommend them to anyone needing a cold weather glove, this balaclava does not quite bring me the same joy. The fit is snug and does a solid job covering your head but as other reviewers have stated this does leave some areas exposed especially when turning your head which I would recommend to all drivers when switching lanes and such. That said when using minimal head turning and/or tucking under and second shirt air flow is minimal and does adequate job at 40F and above.

Excellent Balaclava. Keeps you warm, protects your helmet from your perspiration and it keeps you dry.
It has very good ventilation and really stops the wind from coming under your helmet.
I bought one, and I lost it. Went to Academy and bought the best they had there and it sucked!
Now, I am reordering my Klim at revzilla. It is worth the money!

Good cold weather gear
One size fits all and it does. I wear an XL helmet and my girlfriend wears a XS. Fits both of us perfectly, maybe a little loose for her. Keeps the cold air out, but vents the moisture out without any build up.

Great for what it covers, but leaves the sides bare.
I really liked this balaclava, but unfortunately the sides are super short and so it is hard to get it to really protect your neck - as soon as you turn your head or relax your shoulders, the sides of the neck tend to be come bared.
I am thinking of augmenting it by adding more material, but that would be my one suggestion to make this better at blocking the wind.

Not for me.
I got this to keep me warm in cold weather. This is not nearly as good as my Dainese windstiopper with fleece or my fleece collar. Well, you can't win them all. Would probably be better in 50 degree plus range.

Porous in Back
For some inexplicable reason the back panel is made of the same Coolmax that the top is made of. It's very porous material and it's as if you are wearing nothing on the back of your neck, just where you need warmth.
I immediately went back to my neckwarmer and just tucked it under my helmet.
