Another quality KLIM product
High quality materials and construction as you would expect from a premium brand like KLIM. Very comfortable under my Schuberth lid and a good fit under my jacket with plenty of material to do comfortable lifesavers/head checks.
Windstopper is phenomenal. Fleece lined on the inside for comfort / warmth. Absolutely no wind / cold air on my chilly ride in this morning. Great job.
NOTE: This is not the same as the product pictured on revzilla (it arrived completely black - not black/grey as pictured)
Great shipping from RevZilla - selected regular ground shipping. Arrived next day!

Fill the helmet gap
This is a fairly thin balaclava. The wind-stopper fabric is very effective and fits into my jacket well. The upper part around the head is still a little tight so slightly uncomfortable after a long ride. It should loosen up with use.

Well designed and high quality.
With it being a mild spring, I've only had the chance to try this out a couple of times, but I'm very impressed so far. It has the quality material and build typical of Klim gear, so that wasn't a surprise. I was a little worried when I bought it that it would create just enough extra bulk between my head and the helmet to make the helmet a little too tight for comfort, but I found that to not be the case. The balaclava is well designed, and the material that is under the helmet is thinner (since it doesn't need to be wind-proof and needs to breathe, and thicker where it is exposed to the elements. It does indeed block the wind and makes it more comfortable riding in those "fringe" temperatures. A little pricey for a balaclava, but you get what you pay for, and I don't mind paying for a quality item that will last for years and years, and I think this will. Super fast shipping and service from RevZilla as usual as well.

I'm always concerned about fitment when I wear anything under my helmet. I typically wear a (modular flip up style) Schuberth C3Pro. It's snug, but very comfortable. The Klim Balaclava is warm, but still thin enough to not impede my ability to easily lock the front of the helmet down. I'm happy with it for cold weather riding which for me is down to about 40F.

Excellent piece of cold weather gear.
The Klim Balaclava has made a world of difference in my early season Colorado riding so far. My rides often start in mid-30 degree weather and this item really made the rides much more comfortable. The windstop lower really does the job and it fits very well under my helmet due to the thin top half. Highly recommended product.

Excellent wind protection.
I am finding this product most useful in preventing wind from entering the helmet or jacket while riding at fairly cold temperatures. Anyone who regularly rides in the low 40's and upper 30's Fahrenheit should have some understanding of how important this is. Though I do think that its efficacy is going to be effected by the jacket you are wearing. I wear a Klim jacket and the two work very well together. I suppose I should not be surprised.
The top half is constructed of a thinner, softer fabric that breathes. Inside the helmet it is very comfortable, more so than other, thicker balaclavas. While the top piece is going to be less insulating than a thicker garment I have had this product on down to 35 degrees Fahrenheit and found it adequate for the duration of time I was willing to joyride like an idiot at 35 degrees.

This balaclava is a life saver. I ride almost every day in Colorado during the winter and this thing is awesome. My ride is roughly 20 min at highway speeds usually in single digits. If you are tired of a cold face and frozen neck this balaclava is for you.

Like several reviewers said, why spend more for an inferior product. The Gore-Tex keeps your neck and upper chest warm. The thin part covering the head does not interfere with the fit of your helmet. I am not a Klim only fan, but this piece of clothing works and the price is fair for what you get.
