Fit is great only used it a few times as it is getting warmer here. But it kept my neck and head and face warm would deffently buy again.

This is what you need!!
This is a great product, does exactly what it's designed to do I love mine. The only thing I would change is the face hole, needs to incorporate an easier way to pull under your chin when you want to. Other wise it couldn't get any better!

Everyone should have a few of these
Put it on for that chilly night, or to protect your helmet padding from sweat if you are riding home after a soccer game. Easy to clean and does not take up any space. No-brainer.

Perfect Head Sock
Keeps wind out of your neck area, doesn't impede vision. Breathable and a nice extra layer on cold mornings.

Did what it needed to do with a lot less material
I was wearing a thick turtle fur (fleece) neck gaiter. I was losing neck mobility and once fleece got wet it would never dry out. I bought this balaclava and it was exactly what I needed. It keeps the wind out and it is not one of the last area of my body to get chilly. I have ridden in the rain and at temperature in the 20's. It does however leave marks on your face for a little time after you remove it. I love it and it is super comfortable and i dont see myself replacing it anytime soon. It is strong and durable and had great build quality.

The staff knows the gear and is happy to school me .... And I love being schooled about cutting edge riding technology ... Makes me wish I had an extra grand or two to drop on some new riding gear and in the near future ..... I WILL!!!!!

Indispensable for colder weather riding.
Out of all the cold weather gear I've purchased this was probably the best thing after my jacket. Keeps the wind and cold out of my jacket, out of my helmet and off my neck. Can't be beat for this price.

A little disappointed
Was a little disappointed with this balaclava. A balaclava is for winter riding, and the CoolMax top was a little too cool. The other problem was the stretchy panel on the back of the neck let in too much cold air...a surprise. Given the chance, I should have bought the Alpinestar balaclava.

I wear a size "Small" in helmets & was wondering if this would still fit me tightly. I bought the Arctiva balaclava in the smallest size which was "Sm-Med", and it was actually too big for me.Also, is it supposed to leave the nose uncovered? I wear glasses so I'd probably prefer it to just cover the mouth. I'd also be using this for the winter and I'm sure it's fine to block wind, but does it add any warmth?

I wear a medium helmet and I was surprised to find that this balaclava fit me pretty well, but if not it was maybe a little bit large. I'd be a little concerned about the fit if you're a size small helmet. Maybe wait and see if you get some other opinions?Age: 35-44
