Not as effective as advertised I've ridden with these gloves in 45+ degrees and if I didn't have heated grips, my hands would have been really cold. In addition, the fit of the glove causes circulation to be constricted in my right thumb and I have to shake my hand every ten minutes or so to get the blood flowing again. November 23, 2015
Very nice, well made simple gloves. JR quality I bought these to go with my Classic 92 jacket. They run a size small as Anthony states in the video. They are very warm and appear to be well made. Miles over the winter will tell, but are very comfortable right out of the box. Not SERIOUS riding gloves but for everyday use are perfect and typical Joe Rocket Quality. November 17, 2015
Great gloves to keep your hands warm! Bought these gloves for fall riding in Minnesota and I couldn't be happier! They kept my hands nice and toasty in 40 degree weather with a mix of highway and back roads. They run a little small so order a size up, for me I ordered an XL when my usual size is a L. The lining is bounded to the leather which is really nice so you don't pull out the liner when you take them off. The strap at the wrist is great for securing them to your hands and really easy to use when you have the gloves on. There is no airflow into these gloves (but why would you need that if you're riding in cold conditions). Overall great glove if you want something that isn't crazy expensive and want to keep your hands warm! November 16, 2015
Comfortable I did as others suggested and went up a size. The hand is slightly curved, and the pinky is a little long on me. These are excellent for the weather in west texas, Will be way to hot on warm days. I can even fit some tin liners inside if needed, although this would make the gloves fairly buly. Only issue is the cuff is too small to fit over the sleeve on any jacket, they are for sure for under the cuff wear. This is fine as the cuff is long enough to not pull out. I really like the single strap for adjusting, quick and easy. November 5, 2015
Good but not great Good I got a large but still slightly tight overall and for some reason extra tight at the left little finger, like it was just stitched for a smaller length. Decided to keep it and hope they stretch out some. So far my rides have been in the 40s considering the wind chill factor and within 5 miles or so I start feeling fingertip chill. More so as the ride progresses but not so uncomfortable that I would abandon them. Overall, just good but not outstanding. November 2, 2015
Decent glove - not much gel Decent glove, ordered these last min for a late season ride. Temps as low as 27 °F and they kept me reasonably warm (with guards and warmers). Cuff is weird, not big enough to be considered a gauntlet but too bulky to fit inside the sleeve of a jacket. Pain putting on and taking off. Calling these gel gloves is a bit of a stretch. As far as I can tell there's a 3/4" triangle of gel on the outside heel of the hand 1/8" thick (maybe). November 2, 2015
Good, inexpensive gloves I bought these gloves because I was looking for something waterproof and warm. They have proven to be both and for a decent price. I will warn you that the gloves run small, so order up at least one size. The only issue I initially had with the gloves is that the glove doesn't open up all the way, making it difficult to stretch them to reach the brake and clutch until the gloves are a little broken in; this just took some time. Now, I like them a lot. October 27, 2015
Good budget-minded winter gloves These are good gloves for cold weather. Compared to standard winter gloves they are a little pricey, but compared to other moto gloves, they are economical. They offer a fair amount of protection, certainly not as much as the summer racing gloves I use when it's warm. Being a winter glove, they are thicker, and it takes more effort to be precise with clutch and throttle, but that's just something I have to practice. I wore them on a 50 mile / 1hr 15min trip yesterday in 40 (F) degree weather. My fingers were cold at the end of the ride, but that's typical for me anytime I'm out in the cold, even if I'm just walking. These gloves are definitely warmer than my summer racing gloves, and that's what I needed. The are soft, made of good quality leather, good workmanship & style. I'm satisfied, and I would recommend them. I consider my hand size an L, but I these gloves are XL and they fit correctly. October 6, 2015

A shopper asked: I live in the mountains and it gets decently cold up here sometimes. How do these gloves do in weather below 40 degress? Oct 28, 2014

Daniel P: It depends on how far below 40 we are talking. I used these gloves to commute to and from New York City during the winter last season and they held up pretty good in 30 degree temps for a little over an hour. I've also used the gloves on some pleasure rides during the winter and will honestly say that if you are riding for a long period of time in the cold, on the highway, on a windy day, with no wind protection, your hands will get painfully cold. Two more points I want to make; (1) I hold up well in the cold and have a tolerance that most riders don't have; and (2) these are really nice looking well crafted gloves. Oct 29, 2014

G A: Not as warm as I thought they would be. Maybe they will break in but mine keep my hands at a curved position so when I try to straighten all my fingers it is restricted and hard to do which is bad for me, somebody with carpal tunnel. Oct 30, 2014

Alex R: They have decent insulation for the price but after 30 minutes below 40 you will start to feel the cold. They are great for short trips in the cold though Oct 28, 2014

Ishiro H asked: I just want to confirm the sizing from the video vs the sizing chart. My Right hand measures 3.5". According to the chart I should get the Medium. But I wear an XL in AlpineStars gloves. Will the Large Joe Rocket work for me or should I get the Medium? Thanks! Oct 30, 2015
Answer this · Send to friends Good question? Yes (0) No (0)
Daniel P: Hello there. I honestly have found that most brands are sized smaller. Joe Rocket being one of the better or truer to size than most. However, for informational purposes, I use 2XL in both Aplinestars and Joe Rocket. Both fit snug on my hands, Joe Rocket feeling a little less snug than Alpinestars. If you go medium, you will be returning and exchanging hem for sure. The Joe Rocket glove is a very nicely constructed glove made with a quality leather. It will break in and stretch for sure. Kenneth C asked: How does the sizing compare to a Roland Sands unlined glove? I have the Roland Sands Barfly in 2XL and it fits great. Comparing the sizing charts, it looks like I would wear a 2XL in this glove as well. Can anyone confirm the size comparison? Nov 5, 2014

John D: I have average size hands for a man and the XXL is perfect, No extra room in the fingers which allows precise feel of controls. The thumbs are a bit longer however but now Im nitpicking. Great glove and keeps my hands warm in sub 30 deg. Dec 30, 2014

Robert B: These gloves fit me correctly, compared to the sizing chart. Never owned a Rowland style glove Nov 5, 2014
