Good as a 2nd pair I've found that it's hard to get good riding gear for women, so I was really happy to see these Icon gloves. The idea is great, as is the quality and finish, but I would like to see a better fit for the finger guards. I got the first size based on the fit guide and found the small plastic guards on the fingers were actually painful in the way they fit against my hand, especially when I curled up my fingers. I got one size up and they feel better, but still press a bit hard on the knuckles on my smallest fingers. I don't have wide fingers, but they are long, and perhaps this is why the knuckle guards don't quite fit as they should, but I feel this could be easily fixed if the edges were made a bit more flexible. Overall, I think they will wear well, and expect that they will wear in so as to be comfortable. I would suggest sizing up one size from what you think you should get based on your measurements.
