This jacket looks super stylish, I have gotten over 10 compliments in less than a week! Very good material, ventilation is great as long as your your moving and not in a red light for 5 minutes. I been wearing it in extreme hot conditions and I still feel the breeze come thru it. Best textile jacket in the market if you ask me. Definitely recommend this jacket!

Looks and feels like a great jacket. The solid back with the gray contrast looks great. I’m 6’3”, 180lbs. I ordered a large instead of a medium, so the sleeves would be long enough. The seat is also long enough to cover in the tuck position. The shoulders and arm length fit dead on. Both the chest and the stomach are a little loose but I would rather have that than not able to stretch forwards. The shoulder and elbow armor fight right in place. I did also upgrade to the Icon Stryker CE back protector. I can feel the protector but I would much rather have it than not. With the vest liner in or out I’m able to put a light sweatshirt on under the jacket and the fit is good with just the sleeves a little tight. Overall a great jacket and looking forward to riding with it next season.
With great product reviews and videos from Revzilla, comparing and shopping for product is about as easy as it can get. Not to mention their fast shipping.

a lot of jacket for the money. looks great, lots of protection, well made, liner is warm especially for how thin it is. i got a small (normally a medium in clothes) b/c i am fit and wanted a close fit. sleeves are just long enough.

I went with the RED version of this jacket, size MEDIUM. I am 5'9... about 175 pounds. Being that it is an "attack fit", I PROBABLY would have fit a little bit better with a small. The sleeve length is just SLIGHTLY long, and the jacket is somewhat loose, but doesn't look bad at all. I enjoy the look and comfort while wearing it. I really dont really notice a more snug or loose fit when the liner is attached or removed.
My only SMALL complaint is with the "ICON" logo on the front/chest. The center portion of the letter "C" was already coming off when it arrived, but no big deal... a little bit of super glue fixed the problem. ;)
CE rated shoulder and arm protection feels great. I refuse to remove the back foam padding since it offers SOME amount of protection. I will probably upgrade the back padding to CE armor sooner or later.

I am 5'8 180 lbs and have a 42 in chest. I went with the large and the jacket fits great. Haven't tried it with the liner yet but it fits tight over a sweatshirt. I would recommend one size up if you are right on the edge of the sizing chart like I was or if most of your riding is in a colder climate and you plan on wearing a sweatshirt under it. I have worn it between temperatures of 50 and 75. In the warmer temps I definitely notice a good airflow through the jacket. It still is a warmer jacket and I look forward to trying it with the liner when it gets real cold. The jacket has plenty of pockets and the zipper works flawlessly so far. I purchased the black jacket and the design looks great. Almost has an extremely dark purple accent to the black but maybe that is just my poor eyesight. All in all I was extremely satisfied with my purchase.

I wouldn't say "way too long" but I would agree that they are longer than I would expect. I have worn a 33/34 for dress shirts and they are often a hair shorter than I like. The chart reads 34 for a large and I was worried that the sleeve would be too short for me. As a result I order the XL first and exchanged it for a large afterwards. The L I now have is longer than what I would expect for a 34 but only by about 1/2 of an inch.

mesh is mesh, there is no fabric for abrasion protection. textile has fabric made for crashing in and will protect you a lot more than the mesh. pick a jacket that has CE armor in the shoulders, elbows and back.

Answer: 
Mesh has holes. Textile is closed fabric. In hotter climates, many of us choose mesh jackets even though there is some compromise of protection from leather. Textile is a cheaper alternative to leather but it is not appreciably cooler.
