Cool gloves I bought them because I liked the look and they sorta matched my bike. Got them and they are really comfortable. September 7, 2015
brightest gloves on the market? Some riders love Icon, other hate it. I purchased these in the HI-VIZ yellow and they look great. The gloves are a slightly different shades of yellow, but you won't be able to tell unless they're side by side. The quality is on par for the price range. You always pay a "style surcharge" with Icon. I originally ordered a large and had to switch to a medium. My palm is 3 3/4" wide. I would suggest buying a size down and allowing the leather to stretch and conform. The fit is comfortable with some adjustment. The plastic knuckle guards poked into my first knuckle so I trimmed a small piece off. I have about 500 miles on them so far and there are no signs of breakdown, they have gotten a little damp with sweat and weather with no color bleeding. They dye is a bit stinky, but that's something to be expected. August 31, 2015
Best Glove I just got these gloves and they fit perfect, have great air flow for those Hot summer days to keep your hands cool and they look awesome. I've tried a lot of other brands and these Icon gloves are quality. June 14, 2015
Good, not great. But i would buy again. PROS- great quality for price tremendous airflow they look bad @$$ decent knuckle padding but thats the only place where its padded. CONS - these gloves fit a tad large. if your fingernails are even slightly long theyll catch on the end the pinky finger feels like it sticks to the ring finger very minimal padding/protection. feels more akin to a over priced golf glove feels like they dont play well with my jacket. i dont know how to put it other than saying that suggested use- commuting April 11, 2015
Color I was assuming they would be neon green. I went back and look at the discription and noticed yellow but the pictures seem more green then yellow. Not the end of the world just a little disappointed. March 23, 2015
Decent warm weather glove. Size runs big, tabs too small. The only serious gripe I have with these is that the velco tabs are too small. Trying to grab one with a glove on the other hand is like trying to remove a splinter with your fingers. The style designers won out over the "function" designers on this one. The size runs a bit large - why can't glove manufacturers all follow a strict standard for sizes? I would recommend this item but only to someone who would compare it to others for evaluation. Made in china / Glued portions come apart / velcro strap never stays on i have put 5000 miles on these gloves & still ware them for now but honestly i wouldnt recommend them because the glue comes apart on the finger tips so they peal back. I've got the icon motorhead jaket & the cuff zipper is positioned so i cant move my wrist with out the strap coming undone & there made in china but all that aside they look great feel great September 16, 2014
Okay product, nothing fancy Have had these gloves for a little while, I use them for riding everyday. First off remember they are leather so they'll stretch, I ordered large which I normally wear but these feel a bit loose after some time. I'm constantly adjusting my gloves during stops. Looks are good, they breathe really well and I ride in average of 94+ degrees everyday. Biggest complaint is the vi-viz yellow doesn't look like it does in the picture. The yellow leather around the knuckles guards is nowhere close to hi-viz yellow like the rest of the glove even fresh out of the box. August 28, 2014

Jade R asked: So I measured at 4", but noticed the sizing guide jumps from 3 3/4"(L) to 4/1/4" (XL). As far as accounting for the 1/2" of space in-between sizes, should I go up or down? I'm leaning towards going down, due to the advice that leather will stretch, potentially putting me at the 4" that I need.

Any advice?

ralph s: Definitely go down. I have the same exact pair and I love them minus the extra space due to leather stretching. My top finger nubs also came off after hand washing. So be careful. But overall I love them. Mar 13, 2015

Stephen P: H, Jade.
I would go up to XL.
My only complaint about the Overlord is, for me, the thumb is a bit short. After about hour two, it became irritating. However, with the handle of a wooden spoon and some leather conditioner, I stretched the thumbs a bit. Better.

R I: I went through the same thought process. I decided that going with the xl is better. I've had them a year and they haven't stretched at all. They are a sweet Sumner glove and not bad in early fall too Mar 13, 2015

A shopper asked: How would this hold up in warm (60s/70s) rain? I live in Portland, OR, and we get (you may have guessed it) rain. I'm debating if I'll need a pair of water proof summer gloves to accompany my WP 3 season, cold, gloves, or if I can get away with a plain summer glove. Apr 29, 2014

JAKOB B: I have experienced winter rain with these gloves & I work in Portland I have to say the fit is vary large compared to there patrol gloves I have grip warmers on my zx10r & I wouldn't want to ware this glove in the cold & wet with out it the air goes right through them I like them a lot only because of my oxford grip wormers May 10, 2014

Jarred B: You are better off with a gortex glove /mesh like combo, this is a fantastic glove for dry climate riding from (my tolerance weather riding of) 55 F. - 75 F. Apr 30, 2014

tom b: I live in San Diego and seldom experience rain. I have no idea how they would hold up in the wet. They do however, work just fine even up to 95* weather. Apr 29, 2014

troy r: i would not reccomend this glove for rainy weather as this glove has alot of ventilation for warm weather so the rain will go straight through Apr 30, 2014

John S: Not for touch screens, and the Velcro that holds the gloves closed isn't the best. I would rate it 6 out of 10. More show, less go. Feb 12, 2015

James B: They do work with a touch screen but not consistently. I don't think they are designed too but I can open apps and/or dial but it may take several attempts. Feb 11, 2015
