Icon Overlord Prime Leather Pants

Icon built the Overlord leather pant for the street. They are not a race derivative track pant poorly re-purposed for the urban environment. They are street specific and here's why. Crafted from the same 1.2-1.4 mm leather as our Overlord jacket, the Overlord leather pant is more than durable enough for the most brutal of street duty. The street specific pattern accommodates the aggressive ergonomics of modern sportbikes while greatly reducing the all too common butt sag when standing. Mechanical flex zones and integrated stretch cordura panels enhance on-bike mobility. Over the boot leg patterns eliminate the racetrack refugee look by allowing your boots to fit under the pant. The integrated plastic knee armor provides enhanced joint abrasion protection should you decide to put these pants to the ultimate test. A three quarter length zipper allows the pant to be connected to any of the Overlord leather jackets. To nip your question in the bud - no, there is no knee puck. We built these pants for the street not track, and dragging knee on the street, as we were recently informed by an irate law officer, is frowned upon.

  • ICON attack fit
  • 1.2-1.4MM Premium grade leather chassis
  • Removable CE knee impact protectors
  • Integrated hip/thigh padding
  • Gathered stretch panels for comfort and flexibility
  • Breathable panels for venting
  • Strategically placed perforated leather for ventilation
  • Premium YKK zippers

Please Note: Icon logos on knees are white, not black as shown in the product photos and video.

Great product when paired with Overlord Jacket I have only worn the pants utilizing the two-piece zipper and matching jacket and I couldn't ask for a better fit. If you are between sizes, go with the smaller size as I did and you should be just as pleased. It's a great quality pant, very functional and allows for full day comfort. April 28, 2014
Great quality and fit, these pants live up to hype These pants fit super well in the size advertised. They're a bit long so they won't ride up when the knees are bent, but they gather nicely over any boot. A decent amount of airflow; a bit warm in the hot sun; but, hey, they're black leather pants. I wish they had at least one pocket, but it's worth adapting. The armor in the knees fits well and can be slightly adjusted inside the leg pocket with Velcro. I had to get used to the high ride of a motorcycle pant, but I've always ridden in Levi's 501s -- not the wisest solution for protection. I don't doubt these pants will last a long time and provide solid impact and abrasion protection in the event of the dreaded get-off. August 6, 2013
Good Protection, High Price These pants are high quality leather, and do the job. They were pretty much the only "over the boot" leather pants I could find. The knee pads are a bit bulky, and get in the way of gripping the tank, although I have gotten more used to them. The lack of pockets is also annoying, as I have to find places to put my phone and wallet. Fit: I'm 6', 145lbs. I got the size 30 pants. These pants fit me extremely well in the thigh and hip area. I wish they were an inch or two longer, but I wear riding boots now, so it doesn't really matter. Overall, I feel like the pants are protective, and fit well. I just feel they are a bit overpriced. Like them Good fit, comfortable on bike and pretty good off the bike. Leather seems good quality and the armor and padding sit well. Could use something, zipper or belt, to fasten to a jacket but the back goes up high so there is a lot of overlap. Easy zip over boots. April 22, 2013
Great Pants to Match Jacket Pants fit slightly larger maybe to accomaodate jeans if you would like to use it as an overpant. The Icon knee label is white and not black. The construction is durable and it breathes well. I like the padding in the hips and it rides up the lower back for the extra protection incase of a misfortunate slide should occur. I would have preferred the Icon label to be black and an option of being able to change the removable knee pad to a D3O knee pad, but other than that it's a good pant for on the street/canyon ride. Not really made for the track. April 2, 2013
Great pants Pants were a perfect fit even tho there is no adjustment if they are too big or too small. The only two things I'd change are putting at least one pocket on it some where and they are a tad too long, for me at least. I'm 5'7 175 but it's should be an easy fix for a shop to do. Most importantly they don't rub or chafe my knees/shins. They are very comfortable. First time out I wore them for 6+ hrs with out being uncomfortable. March 11, 2013
Overall they are great pants. Overall they are great pants. Would like to see some sort of adjustments at the waist and a zipper down the leg would be a great February 4, 2013
Protection, comfort and great style. I have nearly a 1,000 miles on this pants so its well past time for a review. Pros: Excellent leather protection in key areas. Padding in knee and hip spot on. Plenty of air flow! You'll want the liner on in the morning 35-45F. High hip backing gives a feeling of more protection in commonly missed area from other brands. Easy zip up and 2 snaps and you are nearly ready to ride. 360 zip for jacket attachment (highly recommend attaching the matching jacket). They feel worn-in already. Cons: No pockets. They do fit a little large like jeans. The bottom portion opening at the ankles is fairly large. You can stuff into boots (Sidi Vertigo) or leave on the outside. Some rubbing wear on the inside portion of the knees but this is expected if riding aggressive with your knees clamped to the tank. Inner portion of calf area where the aramid and kevlar material seems to grab any sharp points on the bike. ICON has created a winner in these pants for the Street Rider who wants a little more. These are my first leather pants and the comfort, protection and styling goes a long way. I am usually a 36-38" waist depending on cut and 35-36" inseam so finding the right combination can be difficult. I chose the 38's for my frame. Which turned out to be a little bigger than I thought. I plan on using these for a long time to come and hope that ICON continues to build on these pants as well as the jacket. November 17, 2012

A shopper asked: do you have white word on knee for the ICON mark? Feb 14, 2012

Hookswitch: I'm glad this was asked and answered. Thanks. FYI to Icon if you're listening: I would have bought these if not for the gaudy white logos on the knees. Logos ruin the whole look (plus I won't pay to be your billboard... I'd consider wearing them with the logos if you want to pay me... I'd do it for, let's see, $320.). Disappointed because otherwise I really like the look of these pants. Actually I like the look of most Icon gear, except for the giant logos all over everything. I can't be the only one who feels this way. Great job as usual on the video reviews and service, Revzilla! Apr 18, 2013

Chi-Ho L: I'm in the same boat as Hookswitch. If they want branding then make it more subtle like RSD. I really like the look of these pants but the giant white Icon killed them for me. Or give people a choice, white or black knee caps. Jun 20, 2014

RevZilla: In the production model of this pant. ICON made the logo on the knees in white instead of black. If you order one, it will come with the white logo. May 2, 2012
