Icon One Thousand Elsinore Boots
The Icon 1000 Elsinore's five-strap, alloy-buckle chassis, stamped metal heel plate, and internal steel shank combine for a serious dose of moto-x homage. The traditional Goodyear welt construction mates the Icon street-specific sole to the magnificent leather upper. A medial entry zipper, allocated from Paratrooper jump boots, is the only luxury the Elsinore will allow itself. A modern relic from an era when men were iron and tanks were steel. The Elsinore, old-school MX reinterpreted for the urban sprawl.

I love these boots. I have been looking for some boots like these for a while now. They look a few rides to break in but they feel great now. As others have mentioned, the insole sucks, but thats no big deal.
I normally wear a 10.5 in most things but in certain boots, like Redwings, I wear a 10. I looked at the sizing and ended up ordering a 10.5 in these and they fit perfectly.
As far as ventilation, in 90 degree heat my feet have been getting pretty hot, even with Alpinestars summer socks. Not burning hot though so its no big deal to me.

I bought these boots for a long trip, and have only just broken them in. They're pretty stiff to start with, especially the sole. The insole is pretty much useless, unfortunately, so I threw in a pair of Dr. Scholl's and my feet are much happier.
I like that they don't have a waterproof membrane. My foot doesn't get clammy. I've put a coat of sno-seal on them and they've been water tight in the few showers I've ridden in.
Overall, I'm very happy. True to size, comfy (with the new insole), substantial, protective. I had to adjust the shift lever on the VFR to feel comfortable shifting, but that's no biggie. Very nice boots.

I waited a long time for these boots to become available and when I did recieve them I was not dissapointed. A great combination of style, protection and comfort. Can't tell you how many people have asked about them in the short time I've had them. Very comfortable to ride in and walk around in.

The style of these boots gets everyone's attention. I finally have an alternative to wearing unarmored "harness" boots when I want to wear something that doesn't look like I just got off the track to go out. The boots look old style motocross but feel like armored touring boots. There is no way to overstate how easy the zippers make getting them on and off. The icon logo on the shin is over the top, I wish it were just a blank panel. Luckily it is stamped and monochrome so it becomes invisible a few feet away. Nice and stiff when you get them and soften after a good break in. There's nothing out there like them. Don't buy them if you live in Dallas, I want to be the only one with a pair of these.

Absolutely love my boots. Now that they're broken in, I can comfortably wear them all day at work, or out at night, even when I'm not riding. The fit/sizing is the same as my nikes. They feel sturdy enough and provide enough protection that I feel safer, but aren't so bulky that I feel like I'm wearing motocross boots.
Speaking of motocross boots, these may look like them, but are about 4 inches shorter than my Fox mx boots. So if you're looking for full below-the-knee protection (for dual sporting etc), these may not be the right boots. I haven't spent enough time standing on the pegs to know how my feet would feel, but I suspect they'd be sore after a while. Definitely made for the street.
Few small issues: 1) The first pair that came had some stitching irregularities in one of the boots. As always, Revzilla took care of me and sent another pair right away; 2) one of the boots also seemed to have a 'bubble' under the icon shield on the shin. It seemed like the adhesive wasn't holding 100%, so look out for that; 3) it's a thicker toe box, so you may have to adjust your foot placement a bit for shifting; and 4) as another reviewer said, the top of the insole delaminated pretty quickly; not a big deal though.
That said, I'd buy another pair in a minute, and might if I wear these out.

I bought these boots over others because of its style. The way it looks is so awesome. Walking around with them feels like any other hard boots I guess. What I had trouble on was finding the right pants for them. If you're like me with muscular calves, you will have trouble tucking your pants in with those boots zipped all the way up. And of course, that won't be the case if you're putting your pants over the boots. But why would you want to do that!? lol these boots are for style and if your planning to have the pants hiding the boots, then buy another ones that are cheaper! But these are great and sturdy. I kinda wish the front of the boots were a slight slimmer bcuz the bike I ride has narrow space between the foot peg and the gear shifter. Another thing i've been riding these in 95 F heat weather outside and I didn't feel any overheat or discomfort at all. So good solid boots. I'm happy with the purchase.

The boots look good a fit true to size. The straps offer a bit of needed adjustment and hold in place well. The boots are snug if you have big calves (Mountain bikers beware). They also break in well after a few days. The main problem I had was the insoles and after a couple of days wear they started to de-laminate and started bunching at the toes and heel. Other than that they are nice so far.

I got these boots in the brown. they look fantastic out of the box and on a cafe racer. It is a little tight around the ankle area but it takes some time to break in.
