Jacket got off to a Bad start. Right out off the box, four of the liner snaps broke off. Not good, but based on the fact that I did not see using the liner, I carried on and kept it. Jacket is very Good in warm weather. Airflow is excellent. I have not had it long enough to give an opinion on hot weather or durability past the snaps, but the rest of the jacket seems well made. Looks good in white, so no Ugly.

This jacket is great. Not only does it look sick (I got the black and grey one) its a great fit and keeps me cool. The removable liner is nice if its a little chilly. Definitely not a jacket for the cold months, but then again, it's not meant to be. There's three zippered pockets and all the armor is removable for what ever reason you might need to remove it. I wear a medium in all other clothes but the small is a perfect fit for me so they run a little big. Overall outstanding jacket and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice Summer/Fall/ Spring jacket.

Sizing: 6' tall, 175lbs (78kg) fairly slim athletic build - bought the medium as with all other ICON jackets - perfect size.
Does exactly what it says. Full mesh constriction with surprisingly reinforced elbows (more padding on top of the armour - bonus). ICON's armour is brilliant, large and strong (I find the shoulders come down on the sides more than most premium brands).
The only discrepancy I can pick is that in the photo the white jacket has red ICON letters, but the ones on my jacket are grey - no biggie really.
I'm confident in the mesh construction too - I wouldn't buy this for smashing the twisties in as it might come unstuck in a big slide, but for getting around town, it feels more than up to the task.

I had tried another summer jacket just before this one, but it was bulky, with little air flow, and the collar rode up and rubbed against my Adam's Apple on my bikes. It also didn't have a liner. The Icon Hooligan 2 Threshold Mesh has a thick liner that looks like it will be great in the fall and early spring. (It is now early June and 99 degrees in Philadelphia.) The jacket is well made, with PLENTY of mesh to move the air. It even has a section by the wrists that you can open to channel air up your arms. The graphics are subtle but classy. I bought white for visibility, and, with my black and white Arai Banda helmet, I'm sure that cars can see me better. I'm 5'11' and 150 lbs but discovered that the S/M fit me best. The jacket is very comfortable, with enough fit in the back that it doesn't ride up. I suppose the bulkier jacket would offer more protection, but it wouldn't protect me from having a heat stroke. The Icon keeps the sun off me, offers elbow, shoulder and back armor, makes me stand out to cars, and has been drawing waves from every kind of two wheeled machine out there. That's cool.
