fits like a glove
I have other brand of safety shorts, but this one is not as bulky as other brands. Works great with regular jeans or loose fit with out the bulk.

Very comfortable
I bought these shorts and a pair of Stryker knee armor to use with Kevlar jeans, they're very comfortable, you forget you're wearing them after awhile.

most intelligent CE rated armor on the market
This was my 2nd short (first was Alpine Star - Bionic) and both sag quite a bit on the back so I don't recommend going commando in either one, but the Stryker sagged less and was definitely more flexible adding to the comfort appeal. I wear these on my commute to San Diego State and have no complaints as i keep them on through the day. Have not gone down with them however, the peace of mind knowing the shields are CE Rated armor tech is a definite bonus.

Maximum Comfort over Protection.
Keep in mind that I bought these shorts solely for it's comfort rather than for it's protection. They fit nicely and hardly bulge out of the waist area of my jeans which makes them barely noticeable when wearing them. They also offer a decent amount of ventilation in the crotch area with its perforation which adds to the comfort. Although these shorts do not offer a tailbone pad; it does however, offer a bit of abrasion protection with it's thin layer of aramid/kevlar surrounding the d30 hip pads.

This product has important but limited use
The Stryker Shorts are somewhat expensive, but do provide important hip protection--especially for a rider with hip prostheses. The drawback is that the shorts will be difficult to wear every day of a long tour since they are supposed to be used as underwear. There is no fly, and a rider will want to wash underwear periodically, but may find it troublesome to wash these shorts and use them the next morning before they are fully dry.

Great protection at a great price.
I use these when in out riding around in the city. Does add some bulk under your jeans, but very comfortable and breathable. Great for wearing if you choose to just wear normal denim jeans. Can't go wrong with CE level rated protection.

Decent product
I am 6' tall 173lbs with a fairly skinny build. I have the medium but I think a small would have fitted a little firmer and better, however the medium is fine.
This product gets 4 stars because the actual CE pad doesnt seem like it would cover the hip from impact fully from different angles. However, it is still firm and nice to know its there. Behind the CE pad is further padding anyway so any impact to the hip area should be reduced well by this product.
The plus side of a slimmer CE pad is that it goes under jeans just fine without it giving you enourmous hips like knox armour does if I put it in my jeans.
