Good product
They are high quality and fit well with enough stretch to fit a wide range of body types.

I got them to wear under my enduro pants. And you are going to want to wear pants that are vented.

They are comfortable and are great for wearing knee braces. The butt pad is great for longer rides but expect a sweaty a**.

I have 8-9 rides on them and haven't had a get off where I tested the protection aspect of them. Knock on wood. However they do feel like they will protect well. The tail bone pad is kind of a joke compared to the rest of the padding. Not sure why Klim even bothered with that one.

I do recommend them and oh yes, they do fit under Jeans if you want a bit of protection on the street. As long as you're not into skinny jeans.

Didn't think about them
I've had two friends with pelvis fractures from track crashes. This seemed like the smart thing to do- I like that the padding covers the pelvis- a lot of pads cover the hips but not the pelvis. My leathers fit a little loose in the seat, this takes care of that too. They aren't super thin, but that's the price of protection. Once my leathers are on, I don't think about them at all, and on the track that's a very important thing.

Good for ADDITIONAL protection
I wear these under my pants that have knee protection because these by themselves only have thigh and hip protection. I tried riding my fz on some unmaintained gravel road and lowsided it and landed on the padding of these pants. I still had a decent bruise on my hip after a couple of days but I'm guess it could have been worse without these pants. If i know i'm going into uncharted territory, I'd wear these but otherwise I don't see the need for the extra protection.

Makes a rough day on the trails tolerable
The padding in the seat makes a rough trail seem OK.
The extra layer is just enough to help on a single digit day.
Fit was right on.
The padding on the top of legs helps hold the bibs off the top of your legs so wind isn't in direct contact.

Great base layer
As with anything from Klim this is a well made product. The padding is thick on the legs and included a small pad in the tail bone area. I recommend a compression type pant under your riding gear so why not have some pads to go with it. I got the M and it fits fine, 5'8" 160 lbs.

Good product
The fabric is not perforated as i would prefer so not much air flow. The comfort padding for the groin/bottom of your butt is well padded but restricts air flow so it gets hot wearing this. The foam protection areas are very dense but there is a gap in protection on the side of the lower thigh areas. I had a bad fall a week before picking these pants up and my bruise was still uncovered by any foam. I will be trying the Alpinsestars Freeride shorts as the pictures look like they cover up more of my thighs. I have washed and machine dried these Klim pants once after a 2 week period and the fabric and foam are still holding up strong.

Perfect fit & well made!
I wanted some extra hip and thigh protection which incorporated some leggings, and these were ideal for my needs.

I'm a 6" Aussie with a waist of 32" and long legs, ordered the Large, and they fit perfectly! There is no slack in the leggings and it's obvious that they can stretch quite a lot in any direction. All of the padding on the impact points sits EXACTLY where it's needed and won't move around or annoy you while riding. In the event of an "off" I know these are going to look after me and have no hesitation recommending them

If it says Klim, buy it.
I bought these as an under layer to wear with jeans. They fit snugly and with a loose pair jeans work fine. I live in San Diego so I was not looking for cold protection. These tights breath so not suited for cold weather riding. The padding is not too large and adequate. As with all Klim products, quality is excellent. Definitely recommend.

Wanted to have a bit more protection under my pants when riding around. I chose these pants because I know Klim makes a great line of products, and it is visible in the detailed stitching in the seat area of these pants if compared to some of the other pants on this site.
Jose Luis D on Jun 25, 2015
Looking for protective pants to wear under my motocross pants. Have shorts, and have been wearing sleeves under the knee braces. With these, I won't have to wear the sleeves, which tend to slide down.
Dave B on Apr 19, 2014
Much needed hip and tail protection integrated in a full-leg underwear along with chamois for comfort.
Hoping that this will work both with on-road pants and with off-road pants and knee braces.
Only thing missing is a fly for the guys.

Because the Tactical Shorts are great and now that winter is approaching it would be nice to have less of a draft on my legs with the same protection.

How do they hold up to speed and road rash? Do shread or offer protection from friction aka speed?
brian g on Sep 9, 2015
BEST ANSWER: Well I can't say how they would hold up going down on your bike, haven't been down yet thank God. I will say they are very comfortable and fit nice and snug, like a nice fitting set of long johns. They fit nicely under a pair of jeans without bunching up and offer padded protection where needed
These don't have any knee protection, right?
Tracey M on Mar 29, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Right. You could look at forcefield armor pants with built in knee protection. The problem with the armor on the butt/saddle on the forcefield pants is it's too stiff and doesn't conform to your butt and motorcycle seat so forcefield's armor forces my butt off my seat sometimes.
Hello,
I'm 5'-7" and weight 150#, what size should I get ?
Maurice J. A on Aug 4, 2014
BEST ANSWER: I am 6' 210 and got a large and they fit great! They stretch but not too much like some cheaper under clothes I have. The padding is adequate and they breath great and take away the sweat. I don't see a size chart but I would guess a small according to your size and mine and how the large fits me. Hope that helps.
I notice some people comment that these are true to size, but I don't see a size chart. How do I know if my measurements fit a M or L? I'm 5'11 170lbs and wear 32x32 jeans. I'd really appreciate some advice.
tarzansam on Feb 21, 2014
BEST ANSWER: Issac...I wear the same size jeans and ordered the M which fits very well. There is plenty of stretch in the fabric so they will be snug but not restrictive . The M size will be plenty long enough too.
Hello, I would like to know how the fit is. I am a size 30-32 hip/waist and I am approx. 6 foot. Would a medium or a large fit me?
A shopper on Jun 22, 2014
BEST ANSWER: My waist is 28 and the fabric feels like it could stretch a couple of inches even after i accidentally dried it on high heat. My inseam is 28" and the bottom of these layer pants cover the bottom of my ankle and feel like they can be stretched a little further. Medium might be OK as the small fits my 28" waist fine.
Do these run true to size, run small or big? I am 6'4" with a 34" waste.
A shopper on Dec 18, 2013
BEST ANSWER: They run true to sizing. I'm 6' 195 lbs 36 waist & mine fit great.
Is the armor CE rated?
tr33house on May 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: No it is not
